One on Each Arm

At the last tournament, Ian Song killed Master Qingxu, the leader of Highspring Valley Sect, crippled another Foundation Establishment expert, Liao Yin, and even destroyed the life-bound treasures of two more sect leaders—Master Kongxu of Grandmount Taiqing Sect and Master Yuanyang of Jadehall Sect.

He made a huge splash and won massive benefits for Yanhuang, but also managed to offend basically everyone in the Immortal-Dao World. All nine major sects would love nothing more than to kill him, especially the Highspring Valley Sect disciples, who spend every waking moment plotting Ian Song’s death.

Even though the Immortal-Dao World agreed to let eight disciples enter the Secret Realm to hunt for treasures, they still felt uneasy. So, when everyone returned, two Foundation Establishment experts came to meet them.

One was Master Qingjing, the new leader of Highspring Valley Sect, and the other was Master Yulong, the leader of Azure Dragon Sect.

Both were top dogs in their sects, and when they heard Ian Song’s taunting words, they couldn’t help but get furious.

They wanted to explode, but remembering Ian Song’s terrifying cultivation—knowing even if they teamed up, they’d be no match—they could only grit their teeth and hold it in, hating him even more.

Seeing the two of them didn’t dare make a move, Ian Song didn’t let up and mocked, “Cowards!”

Master Qingjing’s eyes nearly popped out of his head, about to unleash his magic treasure and go all out, but Master Yulong yanked him back. “General Han, are you trying to start a war with the Immortal-Dao World?”

Yanhuang wasn’t ready to go to war with the Immortal-Dao World. After weighing the pros and cons, General Harold Han smiled and said, “Ian Song, show some respect to the two sect masters.”

“Heh.”

Hearing that, Ian Song shot Master Qingjing and Master Yulong a grin that dripped with contempt, almost making the two sect masters lose their cool.

“Old Han, nothing left for me here—I’ll head out first!”

As soon as he finished, Ian Song tossed out his Bronze Flying Sword, stepped onto it, and vanished from the base in a flash of sword light.

The Secret Realm trip only lasted a month, but Ian Song spent over five years in the Divine Temple’s worlds, so he really missed his long-time girlfriend Hannah Han, his cousin Shelly Song, and even Fiona Xiang.

After thinking it over, he decided to hit up Waterwood University first—both Fiona Xiang and Shelly Song were there.

Once he saw them, he’d head back to Riverstone City to find Hannah Han.

Back in high school, Shelly Song and Fiona Xiang were already close, and now, with both of them freshmen at the Music College, they were always together, adding a splash of color to campus life.

Both Fiona Xiang and Shelly Song were natural beauties who turned heads wherever they went.

So this past month, the number of guys chasing after them was off the charts.

Luckily, the Zhao Family was secretly protecting them, so no one dared try anything shady. Anyone who did was taken out by the Zhao Family before they even got started.

Shelly Song and Fiona Xiang instinctively prepared to refuse, but the moment they saw who it was, their faces lit up with joy.

A boy stepped out from the crowd, smiling at them.

Hearing that this guy actually wanted to invite both girls at once, the others all looked at him with mocking expressions.

But in the next second, something happened that left everyone dumbfounded.

"Of course you can," Shelly Song nodded.

Fiona Xiang shot Ian Song a mischievous smile. "I'm actually hungry too, so I'll accept your invitation!"

Did he really just pull it off?

They actually agreed?

Hearing the two girls' answers, all the guys around them lost their minds. The three who'd just been rejected stared at Ian Song with burning jealousy.

"Let's go then. If we're late, there won't be any seats left in the cafeteria!" Ian Song said.

"Mm!"

The two girls nodded in unison.

When the others heard Ian Song was just taking the two beauties to the cafeteria, they couldn't help but look down on him. But what really got under their skin was that both girls agreed anyway.

"Wait!"

Suddenly, Shelly Song called out, stepped forward, and grabbed Ian Song's left arm. She winked at Fiona Xiang.

Fiona Xiang instantly understood Shelly's signal, stepped up, and hugged Ian Song's other arm.

Left and right, both beauties in his arms?

Seeing this, every guy there nearly died of envy. If only it were them the girls were holding onto.

Under a barrage of jealous stares, Ian Song and the two girls walked out of the classroom.

"You two are really helping me attract aggro today!" Ian Song laughed to the girls.

"Hey, it's mostly because these guys are so annoying. They pester me and Fiona every single day. Can you be our shield just this once, cousin?" Shelly Song said playfully.

"You’re acting all modest, but even if someone begged, they’d never get a chance for me and Shelly to hug them like this." Fiona Xiang rolled her eyes at Ian Song.

"True enough," Ian Song nodded in agreement.

Chatting as they went, the three swaggered toward the nearest cafeteria, turning heads everywhere. Some students snapped photos and posted them to the campus forum, where the thread instantly exploded with replies.

After lunch, Ian Song spent the afternoon with the two girls, shopping, buying them things, and catching a movie.

It wasn't until ten at night that he finally escorted them back to the girls' dormitory. Once they'd gone inside, Ian Song summoned the Silverglow Skiff and flew straight toward Riverstone City.
