Entering Stormhaven Island

12/19/2025

Joe Di left Starhaven City with Moria Lane. Before leaving, he entrusted the City Lord's Manor to Sean Zell for management. Joanna Brooks also remained at the Manor, both to assist Sean Zell and because cultivating here was far superior to anywhere else.

Additionally, he invited Loraine Puregate, Lucas Infinity, and more than ten cultivators who managed Starhaven City and its auxiliary cities for a private discussion.

Starhaven City was founded by Joe Di—not only for the Immortal Realm, but also for those close to him. Before departing, he reminded these people to treat cultivators arriving from the True Domain kindly, and to notify Sean Zell immediately for any issues. He especially emphasized his sister Debbie Di and his friend Garrett.

As for his destination, apart from Loraine Puregate, not even Lucas Infinity knew. Lucas only knew that Joe Di was heading to the Immortal Realm seeking opportunities to save someone, but was unaware that Joe Di intended to leave for Cauldron Haven.

During his long conversation with Lucas Infinity and the others, Joe Di also learned some critical news.

Not all top sects followed Fatespire Sect to Sanctuary Domain; some sects had already sealed their mountain gates before the twilight descended.

Some of these sects that sealed their gates had their protective arrays broken and were annihilated. Others, after sealing themselves, became impossible to locate. For example, the renowned array sect Evertrue Array Sect. Among these sects, there are Immortal Lords present.

With such instability, Joe Di left an array flag to activate the Earthflame Banner for Garrett. As for Loraine Puregate, he only permitted her to control the city's grand formation.

The reason he left the killing array's core flag with Garrett was because Joe Di knew Loraine Puregate was simply too soft-hearted.

Someone who wishes to build peace in the Immortal Realm out of ideals and sentiment—Joe Di had no faith in that. The story of Buddha feeding the eagle with his own flesh may be moving, but it was not Joe Di's way. The result of Loraine Puregate's approach was that Puregate Sect now had only her left as its sole leader. This situation, Joe Di believed, was mainly the responsibility of Loraine Puregate and her predecessors.

To establish true order in the Immortal Realm, a sharp blade is required. Joe Di had already chosen who would wield that blade, and it would not be Loraine Puregate.

......

It was the seventh day since Joe Di left Starhaven City. He was not rushing his journey, but instead summoned a mid-grade immortal artifact flying ship, letting Blackfire and Sprout control it while he worked inside, unlocking a pile of rings.

Searching for spiritual medicine for Moria Lane would be a long-term process—this was not something that could be hurried.

Before entering Cauldron Haven, he needed to ensure he had enough strength to protect himself. Gathering so many rings was to lay the foundation for his cultivation. Cauldron Haven lies in the void, and obtaining cultivation resources there is no easy task.

As Joe Di opened each ring, he grew ever more impressed by the wealth of these sect masters. Perhaps due to Sanctuary Domain's lack of immortal crystals or insufficient spiritual energy, the rings contained few immortal crystals. But there were piles upon piles of high-grade immortal spirit herbs and refining materials.

Beyond that, Joe Di found all manner of magical treasures, cultivation techniques, divine ability memory stones, and various miscellaneous treasures within these rings.

What pleased Joe Di most was Zane Fate's ring, which contained over ten million top-grade immortal crystals, half a medium-grade immortal spirit vein, and a Codex of Destiny memory stone. This memory stone was likely the sect treasure of Fatespire Sect. Joe Di did not have time to cultivate it now, but he valued this divine ability highly.

The total top-grade immortal crystals from all the rings approached one hundred million, with Zane Fate's ring contributing one-tenth of that. The combined medium- and low-grade immortal crystals reached forty to fifty million.

Besides these, Joe Di also found four minor worlds, a broken True Spirit World, and various immortal medicine gardens.

Joe Di moved all these items into his True Spirit World. His only regret was not finding any information about Cauldron Haven in Zane Fate's ring.

According to Loraine Puregate, only Fatespire Sect and Puregate Sect know about Cauldron Haven.

Unfortunately, Zane Fate was already dead, so Joe Di could not ask him directly.

The ship was equipped with a Grand Fivefold Array, allowing for cultivation. It took Joe Di four months to break through from the peak of True Immortal Stage Eight to True Immortal Stage Nine. With such speed, Joe Di simply stopped cultivating and focused on alchemy.

Another two months passed, and Joe Di burned through piles of immortal spirit herbs. Even with the help of fifth-tier immortal flame, he still failed to refine even the lowest grade first-tier immortal pill.

This made Joe Di sigh. He was certain that if he still had that golden Dao principle, he would have already refined a first-tier immortal pill and become a first-tier pill master.

Sadly, that Dao principle was never truly his. After he used the Cosmic Membrane fragment to rebirth his body, the golden Dao principle abandoned him.

Though he possessed the World Tome, had comprehended various foundational laws, and had used the Cosmic Membrane fragment to rebirth his body, lacking that golden Dao principle still had a huge impact. Fortunately, Joe Di’s mindset was steady; he knew all he needed was to get started. Once he could refine a first-tier immortal pill, his path in alchemy would become much smoother.

After nearly half a year of travel, Joe Di finally reached the outer perimeter of the Grand Skywall Array.

Joe Di could not break the Grand Skywall Array. This formation was not something Zane Fate could set up alone. Zane Fate was able to help perfect the array because a top-tier Skywall already existed here. After entering Sanctuary Domain, Zane Fate and his companions simply built upon this foundation to complete the Grand Skywall Array.

By now, the Grand Skywall Array was already in ruins. Nearly ten million cultivators lived in Sanctuary Domain, and every day people left for Starhaven City.

When Joe Di passed through the Skywall from Twilight Domain into Sanctuary Domain, he brushed past many others. No one paid him any attention, and there were also cultivators like him who entered Twilight Domain only to return to Sanctuary Domain.

As for those cultivators heading to Starhaven City, Joe Di paid them no mind. Starhaven City was managed by Loraine Puregate, Lucas Infinity, and the others; Sanctuary Domain’s cultivators were meant to gradually move there anyway.

Ten million cultivators may seem like a lot, but compared to the once-prosperous Immortal Realm, it was nothing—not even a thousandth of its former glory.

After passing through the ruined Grand Skywall Array, Joe Di entered Sanctuary Domain.

Sanctuary Domain was just as broken and desolate as Twilight Domain—perhaps no better. Still, as Joe Di traveled onward, he found a few places where cultivation was possible.

Stormhaven Island was not particularly famous in Sanctuary Domain. The only reason many people knew of it was that Sanctuary Domain was so small. Stormhaven Island was surrounded year-round by arcs of lightning, lacking both immortal spiritual energy and spirit herbs, so naturally, no one cared about it. At best, people regarded it as a forbidden zone.

Compared to Twilight Domain, Sanctuary Domain was just a tiny speck.

It took Joe Di only three days to arrive outside Stormhaven Island. Once there, he finally understood why it was called Stormhaven Island.
