Capturing Blake Chu

1/18/2026

"Ding! Mission One: Avenge your father—personally slay the enemy within one year. Reward: 100 million Fame Points. Failure: 200 million Fame Points deducted!"

Just as Evan Chu was leaving the Divine Temple, preparing to head for Gracefield Town, the long-absent System mission finally arrived.

His father, Thomas Chu, was ambushed while in seclusion attempting a breakthrough to the Yuan-Core realm, leading to a qi deviation and death.

Thomas Chu possessed peak Divine Sea Stage strength. Even during a breakthrough, only a late Divine Sea expert could ambush him—and after his death, who benefited most?

No need to ask—obviously, it was Drake Chu.

By that logic, the attacker must have been connected to Drake Chu.

Thinking this, Evan's gaze turned cold. His figure flickered and vanished from the spot, reappearing at the foot of the mountain.

With his cultivation and Primordial Spirit sealed, the Art of Great Teleportation's range was drastically reduced—barely two kilometers. But that was enough.

Evan quickly appeared inside Gracefield Town.

The Chu Family estate sat at the heart of Gracefield Town, sprawling over more than sixteen acres.

The Chu Family was the local overlord of Gracefield Town, far stronger than the other four martial clans. Their estate was built with impressive grandeur.

Two lifelike stone lions guarded the estate gates, their eyes blood-red as if ready to devour anyone who approached.

Just as Blake Chu was enjoying himself with his eyes closed, an abrupt voice sounded in the bathhouse.

Arriving near the Chu Family estate, Evan used the Art of Great Teleportation to jump straight into an abandoned courtyard within the compound.

"No, you’re wrong. This place was mine to begin with—so how is that sneaking in?" Evan shook his head.

As the top martial clan in Gracefield Town, the Chu Family estate had plenty of patrolling guards, but the defenses weren't actually that tight. Not that it mattered—no amount of security could stop Evan Chu with his teleportation skill.

Tonight, his target was Blake Chu.

Even before Thomas Chu died, that brat had always targeted Evan Chu, repeatedly scheming against him and provoking beatings and scoldings from Thomas.

But Evan's strength was never a match for Blake's. After a few failed challenges and harsh beatings, he even developed a bit of fear toward Blake Chu.

Right now, Blake's father Drake Chu was still in the study discussing business. It looked like they'd be occupied for a while, so Evan simply sat cross-legged in the abandoned courtyard and waited for his chance.

Honestly, destroying the Chu Family would be a breeze—he could just release any demon cultivator from the Divine Temple.

Evan just sneered in contempt, then activated his Gravity Domain.

He hadn’t used this divine ability in ages.

But it was perfect for dealing with a Tempering Body martial artist like Blake Chu. As the Gravity Domain took effect, Blake’s body slammed straight to the floor. Evan dodged the flying maid, stepped up to Blake, and delivered a swift kick right to his dantian—a sharp crack sounded as his cultivation core shattered.

Drake Chu personally crippled Evan Chu’s dantian—today, Evan would personally cripple his son’s.

An hour later, Blake Chu finally left Drake Chu’s study and made his way to a side courtyard.

That courtyard had originally been Evan Chu’s residence, built especially luxurious. Now that Evan had been driven out, Blake—being the patriarch’s son—had moved right in.

Inside, four young and beautiful maids stood waiting.

In a blur, Evan knocked out the four maids, then clubbed Blake Chu unconscious, and vanished on the spot using the Art of Great Teleportation.

Soon enough, with the four maids attending him, Blake stripped down to just his shorts and stepped into the bath.

The four maids also stripped down to just their silk undergarments—two massaged him, one kneaded his legs, and the last served wine and snacks for him to enjoy.

"You sure know how to live it up!"

Just as Blake Chu was enjoying himself with his eyes closed, an abrupt voice sounded in the bathhouse.

Blake's eyes snapped open. Seeing Ian Song standing at the edge of the bath, his face changed—panic flashed, but he quickly calmed down and said coolly, "Evan Chu, you've got some nerve, sneaking into the Chu estate alone!"

"No, you’re wrong. This place was mine to begin with—so how is that sneaking in?" Ian shook his head.

Blake's heart sank. "Why are you here for me?"

"You already know, so why bother pretending?" Ian sneered at him.

"I'm warning you—don't do anything stupid, or else... Die!"

Suddenly, Blake grabbed a maid and hurled her straight at Ian; with a splash, he leapt out of the bath, charging at Ian in attack.

The entire Chu Family estate erupted into chaos—servants and guards rushed everywhere with torches, searching for Evan Chu, because Jasper Chu was convinced that Evan hadn’t escaped the compound.

But how could they find him? By now, Evan Chu wasn’t just out of the Chu Family estate—he’d already left Gracefield Town entirely.

Ian just sneered in contempt, then activated his Gravity Domain.

He hadn’t used this divine ability in ages.

But it was perfect for dealing with a Tempering Body martial artist like Blake. As the Gravity Domain took effect, Blake’s body slammed straight to the floor. Ian dodged the flying maid, stepped up to Blake, and delivered a swift kick right to his dantian—a sharp crack sounded as his cultivation core shattered.

Drake Chu personally crippled Evan’s dantian—today, Ian would personally cripple his son’s.

"Aah!"

Agonizing pain stabbed from his dantian, and all the inner qi stored there spilled out. Blake couldn’t help screaming, cursing, "Evan Chu, you actually crippled my dantian! I’ll make you wish you were dead!"

Suddenly, Ian’s expression shifted slightly.

In a blur, he knocked out the four maids, then clubbed Blake unconscious, and vanished on the spot using the Art of Great Teleportation.

Bang!

The door exploded open and a tall figure charged into the bathhouse.

Seeing the four unconscious maids, the newcomer’s face darkened and cold sweat broke out—how could the young master be missing?

Sure enough, it was Jasper Chu, captain of the Chu Family’s guard.

A quarter of an hour later...

Drake Chu and Stone Chu arrived one after another.

"Jasper Chu, what’s going on—where’s Blake?" Drake Chu demanded loudly.

Jasper Chu stammered, "Master, the young master was taken by Evan Chu. But don’t worry, he shouldn’t be able to escape—I’ve already ordered the estate sealed!"

"What! Blake was taken by that little bastard?"

Drake nearly fainted from rage, roaring at Jasper, "What kind of guard captain are you? Someone snuck into the estate and you didn’t even know! If Blake loses a single hair, I’ll hold you responsible!"

The entire Chu estate erupted into chaos—servants and guards rushed everywhere with torches, searching for Ian Song, because Jasper was convinced that Ian hadn’t escaped the compound.

But how could he find them? By now, Ian wasn’t just out of the Chu estate—he’d already left Gracefield Town entirely.
