The Yin–Yang Demon Empress’s body kept expanding, and after just a few breaths she had transformed into a giant over ten meters tall. More precisely, she had become a being of living flame—a monstrous fire giant, her entire form blazing and terrifying to behold.
Evan Chu’s heart jolted. The aura radiating from the Yin–Yang Demon Empress was so intense he could barely withstand it—it was at least Heavenly God Realm level, and maybe even stronger since she’d absorbed all that fire-attribute energy from the magma.
“Kid, are you scared now that you’ve seen this king’s new body? Today you die here! Now I’ll let you taste my Space Domain!” the Yin–Yang Demon Empress declared.
“Old monster, even looking like that, I’m not afraid of you. Space Domains have never fazed me—go ahead, show me what you’ve got!” Evan replied, sounding utterly unconcerned. But inside, he was actually bitter as hell—this freak’s strength was so overwhelming, the pressure from her Space Domain would be no joke.
Sure, he could break through a Space Domain quickly, but he’d still have to endure some punishment. There was definitely a Fire Domain mixed in—he just didn’t know if there were any other domains layered inside.
Evan was racking his brain for a way to handle it, while the Yin–Yang Demon Empress just thought he was bluffing. With a thought, she unleashed her Space Domain, and Evan was instantly hit by a crushing wave of pressure.
He’d never felt pressure like this before—so intense it was almost unbearable. His knees buckled involuntarily, and it felt like he was carrying billions of jin on his back, struggling to breathe as sweat poured down his cheeks in fat droplets.
“What a monstrous Space Domain! Just what realm is this freak at? Burning her soul for this Devour move means she’ll need a hundred thousand years of seclusion to recover—what a price! With that kind of sacrifice, her attack power must be totally heaven-defying. Maybe she’s already reached late Heavenly God Realm, or even broken through to God-Lord Realm.” Evan thought to himself.
But Evan spread his divine sense, reaching out to the elemental particles inside the Space Domain. His first target was the fire element, and after a few breaths he made contact and achieved resonance—instantly, the pressure on him eased up a lot.
Turns out this freak’s Space Domain was multi-layered. Now that the Fire Domain’s pressure was gone, he could barely hang on. If he didn’t know how to break domains, he’d be dead for sure. Looks like he’d have to find a way to comprehend Space Domain himself, sooner or later.
The Yin–Yang Demon Empress had no idea Evan had already dismantled her Fire Domain. Seeing the agony on Evan’s face, she burst out laughing, "Kid, you really are strong. To last this long in my Space Domain—I’m actually impressed!
You should know, after devouring all that fire-attribute energy from the magma, my strength has reached early God-Lord Realm. For an Immortal who hasn’t ascended to the God Realm to withstand a God-Lord’s Space Domain—that’s a miracle in itself!"
So it really is God-Lord Realm... I never thought she’d get this strong. It’s honestly terrifying. If I reached God-Lord Realm, I could slaughter God-Kings outright, and once I hit God-King Realm, maybe I’d be able to kill God-Emperors. Hell, I might even be able to go toe-to-toe with early God-Venerables. Evan muttered inwardly.
He quickly reached out to another element inside the Space Domain—this time, the metal element. The fact that the Yin–Yang Demon Empress could control metal element surprised Evan a bit, but as soon as he made contact, the pressure on him eased again. Now, the only pressure left was like that of a demigod’s Space Domain—Evan could basically ignore it, moving freely inside.
But he didn’t act just yet—he wanted to catch her off guard, using the elemental power inside the Space Domain itself. Metal element was famous for being unstoppable, perfect for attacking her.
There was still one more element left. Evan kept probing, and after a few breaths he realized—it was the dark element. The demonic qi and dark element were basically two sides of the same coin; maybe demonic qi was just another form of dark element.
It was like how water turns into ice—ice element is really just water element in another state. Before long, Evan had dismantled the dark element domain too, and the pressure on him vanished without a trace.
He’d run into situations like this so many times before. To avoid arousing the Yin–Yang Demon Empress’s suspicion, he kept up the act, pretending to be in agony—while rapidly gathering metal element.
“Kid, you can really last this long in my Space Domain? Looks like I’ll just have to crank up the pressure!” the Yin–Yang Demon Empress said.
Her gigantic body erupted with flames, filling the Space Domain with a sea of fire. Evan ignored the flames completely, letting them strike his body without flinching.
“Yin–Yang Demon Empress, your Space Domain is honestly trash. I was just acting miserable on purpose, so you’d think your domain was all-powerful. In reality, it’s worthless to me. Now, why don’t you try out my Space Domain for a change?” Evan laughed.
Seeing Evan’s sudden change—his agony vanishing, replaced by a big grin—the Yin–Yang Demon Empress was momentarily thrown off. She was at early God-Lord Realm now; sure, she could only maintain it for about an hour, but that was more than enough to kill Evan.
“Your Space Domain? I’m not worried about that at all. If you’ve got the guts, show me!” the Yin–Yang Demon Empress sneered.
She couldn’t figure out how Evan had broken her Space Domain, or how he could withstand the terrifying pressure inside.
Evan flashed forward, charging at the Yin–Yang Demon Empress. The metal element he’d gathered was unleashed along with Divine Slash—splitting his focus, he attacked with a spiritual strike and then condensed the metal element into a golden longsword for a second blow. It was a perfect two-in-one attack.
Evan moved with lightning speed, while the Empress’s huge body made her an easy target. Even if she wanted to dodge, it was too late—both the Divine Slash and the golden longsword smashed into her, erupting in two deafening booms.
The Yin–Yang Demon Empress was sent flying hundreds of meters, crashing down into the flames. Evan knew this strike hadn’t finished her off; she’d probably unleash an even stronger technique next, especially now that she’d hit God-Lord Realm.
With a thought, Evan prepared to use the power of a blood pearl and the Ninefold Divine Dragon Transformation—maybe only that could finish her off for good…
