Mopping the Floor

Evan Lin felt a bit annoyed, glanced over and said, "Don't waste your breath. I don't care about regular girls at all."

Not interested in ordinary girls—period.

Chase Chen always claimed to run with Boss Grizzly—that was how he managed to have such a smooth ride around here.

But now, seeing the boss Chase brought over bowing respectfully and speaking to Evan Lin, everyone present was shocked. They all turned their heads to stare at Evan.

How I act is none of your damn business. Who do you think you are, mouthing off in front of me?

Leo Liu's face was dark, fists clenched, but he didn’t dare say a word. Jiang Yao and Ivy Liang exchanged glances—Evan Lin was so far ahead, Leo Liu couldn’t even see his taillights.

Leo Liu used to be the big shot around here, but now? Evan Lin was on a whole other planet—Leo Liu wasn’t even in the same game.

The man's fierce, thuggish face was now full of terror. He stood there trembling like a chick caught by an eagle, meeting Evan's gaze, not even knowing where to put his hands and feet.

"Do whatever you want—kill me, beat me, I’ll take it. Just leave me half a life, okay? I’ve got old folks above and kids below, I really can’t afford any trouble."

The man swallowed hard, his face miserable—if Evan said one more word, it looked like he’d break down crying.

Seeing this, Evan couldn’t help but smile and nodded. "Have your guys clean this place up. As for the rest, I can’t be bothered to pursue it—after all, you didn’t actually mess with me."

Hearing Evan’s words, the man looked as if he’d been pardoned. He nodded frantically and shouted to his crew behind him, "Are you all deaf? Hurry up and clean this place!"

As soon as he gave the order, Chase Chen jumped right in to help with the cleanup crew.

Raymond Yang's mess—vomit and filth—still reeked, making everyone want to gag.

The boss kept smiling at Evan, trying to please him: "Anything else you need? If you want, I can get a few foreign girls to come drink with you?"

"These are all new arrivals—white skin, pretty faces, big butts! Guaranteed to be your type!"

He rubbed his hands together—those girls cost a fortune, and he couldn’t even afford one himself. Right now, he was brown-nosing Evan for all he was worth.

Hearing this, Stella Huang, Wendy Wen, and Claire Li all frowned at once.

He was loving the spotlight—already dreaming about how he’d flex and show off later.

They practically shouted in chorus, leaving the boss frozen in place.

Once the thugs were gone, Leo Liu, still feeling like he’d just eaten a pile of crap, glared at Evan and sneered, "Wow, you must be real hot stuff if even that boss is scared of you."

"If you’re so badass, why didn’t you step up sooner? Had to let us get humiliated first before you finally made a move, huh?"

Evan slowly looked up, his gaze icy. "How I act is none of your damn business. Who the hell do you think you are, barking at me?"
