The Woman’s True Realm

After Evan Chu stowed away the Frostbane Divine Sword and Snowbound Divine Sword in his storage ring, he didn't leave immediately. Instead, he hovered in midair, slowly checking the consumption of Chaos Divine Power within his body.

To kill those four, he used Wind-God Sword Art twice and Absolute Cleave twice. Absolute Cleave burns up twice as much Chaos Divine Power as Wind-God Sword Art, so right now, Evan only has about forty percent of his Chaos Divine Power left. The cost stings, and he can't help but feel it's a bit much to bear.

But now isn't the time to sit and absorb divine stones to recharge. Blue‑Shade is still fighting three enemies by himself, and who knows how that's going. If Evan can at least pin down the early God‑Venerable, it'll lighten Blue‑Shade God‑Venerable's burden a lot.

Having sorted out his priorities, Evan flashed over to where Blue‑Shade God‑Venerable and the others were fighting. His last Absolute Cleave had shaken the area so much that it drew plenty of attention—various sects sent people to check the battlefield, but by the time they arrived, everyone was already gone.

All that remained were two huge chasms ripped into the ground and the lingering stench of blood in the air. An old expert studied the cracks and muttered, "What terrifying power. In the God Realm, only two divine arts can do this: Heavenblade Sect’s Chaos Godslayer Sword Art, or Frostbane Divine Palace’s Sevenfold Absolute Cleave.

But Frostbane Divine Palace has been extinct for ages, and Sevenfold Absolute Cleave has long been lost—only the Palace Lord ever learned it. Heavenblade Sect’s Sect Master is also in deep seclusion. Strange, isn’t it? Could some other divine art have this kind of power?"

"Maybe there’s another art out there," someone else replied. "Frostbane God‑Venerable fell ages ago, and nobody’s seen Sevenfold Absolute Cleave in years. As for Heavenblade Sect’s Sect Master, he’s locked up in death-seclusion. Anyone bold enough to fight in the Freewind Sect’s territory must have real backing."

While the crowd kept arguing about the fierce battle, Evan had already reached the place where Blue‑Shade God‑Venerable and the others were fighting. Even though they were all God‑Venerables, their fight wasn’t nearly as intense as Evan’s—most of the time, no one dared go all out, everyone was just tiptoeing around, super cautious.

Maybe they were waiting for the four God‑Emperors to finish Evan off before ganging up on Blue‑Shade God‑Venerable. Blue‑Shade didn’t dare go all out either—one of the enemy God‑Venerables was about as strong as him. If he fought head‑to‑head, they’d both end up crippled, and the other mid and early God‑Venerables could finish him. So he had no choice but to defend more than attack.

"Blue‑Shade, don’t refuse a toast only to drink the penalty wine. We’ve already shown you plenty of tolerance, but if you keep pushing, don’t blame me for getting nasty!" Elder Gu snapped at Blue‑Shade God‑Venerable, his voice cold and harsh.
