Subduing the Mid God-Venerable Woman

At this moment, seeing the shock on Evan Chu's face, Monica laughed and said, "You guessed right. My true strength is mid-stage God-Venerable. Are you regretting your foolish actions now? Too late! You don't have another chance!"

"Too late? The only thing late here is your brain! So what if you're mid-stage God-Venerable? That's exactly the kind of opponent I kill. Can't you tell I've been hiding my true strength too? For a mid-stage God-Venerable, you're really just a pig-head." Evan Chu grinned.

Although he was shocked by Monica's mid-stage God-Venerable strength, Evan refused to back down. Being able to scare her was a bonus—after all, conning people was one of his best talents.

Sure enough, Monica's face flashed with surprise. She stared at Evan Chu, full of suspicion, and asked, "Then what realm are you? Who exactly are you? If I'm not mistaken, you must be disguised."

"People always say women are dumb—guess there's some truth to that. How could I possibly tell you who I am? Use your pig brain and think: if I really were just mid God-Emperor, how could I have killed four late-stage God-Emperors in one blow? If you let me 'enjoy' you a little, maybe I'd spare you." Evan said the dirtiest thing he could think of.

His real goal was to throw her off-balance—people get slow and careless when they're agitated. That would give him a chance to launch a powerful attack. Still, the chance to fight a mid-stage God-Venerable had him fired up inside.

There was another reason for his words: he wanted to avoid her using her Space Domain against him. A mid-stage God-Venerable's domain was terrifying—he could break out, but it would take time and he'd suffer for it.

But when Monica heard Evan's words, she burst out laughing. "You're clever, all right—trying to piss me off so I lose my cool and you can run away, right? If that's your plan, you're dead wrong. I'm Monica, and I've weathered countless storms. No way your cheap tricks will get to me."

"The way you acted and spoke before—I knew you were trying to lure me away, to take pressure off Blue-Shade. You really think Blue-Shade can escape unscathed from two top experts attacking together? You're way too naive."

"I played along and came with you precisely to put more pressure on Blue-Shade. Before I left, I told him my real cultivation. If he survives, he'll be here to collect your corpse. Shouldn't you be thanking me?"

Evan Chu just shrugged. "So your name's Monica? Not bad. I have a woman named Selena—wonder what Monica tastes like. I bet you're still a virgin, right? I've got a hobby: whenever I meet a pretty virgin, I want to have her. Wonder if I'll get lucky today, hahahaha!"

The more Evan spoke, the worse it got. His words made Monica truly furious. "You brat, you're begging for death! If I don't cripple you today, I'll never get rid of this rage. Prepare to die!"

As soon as she finished speaking, Monica slashed at Evan with her sword. A mid-stage God-Venerable's strike was nothing like a God-Emperor's—thunderous wind and lightning echoed for dozens of miles, and the energy storm from her sword-qi swept grass and soil into the sky.

This attack was every bit as terrifying as Evan's Wind-God Sword Art. With such overwhelming power, Evan had no intention of meeting it head-on—especially since he only had forty percent of his Chaos Divine Power left. Outmatched, he chose to dodge.

When it came to speed, few could match Evan—this was just at mid God-Emperor, too. If he reached God-Venerable, maybe no one in the God Realm could catch him, except maybe the reclusive Heavenblade Sect Master.

Evan instantly activated Windshift, leaving a cyan afterimage as he darted aside. Dodging her strike by a hair, he laughed, "Hey, don't you know you're supposed to give a warning before attacking? I almost got hit! So, do you still want to get cozy with me or not?"

"Die!" Monica was even angrier now. She'd seen shameless people before, but never anyone this shameless. Her body was pure, and there was no way she'd let someone like him touch her—especially an enemy. Right now, she wanted nothing more than to kill him on the spot.

Just as she prepared to attack again, Evan instantly activated Light Transformation and vanished from her sight. Losing her target so suddenly, Monica was startled—this guy was seriously unpredictable.

She immediately spread out her divine sense to scan the area. She knew he must have mastered the Light element—if there was even a hint of energy fluctuation, she'd pinpoint his location and strike with all her might. She was confident she could kill him.

But after scanning with her divine sense for ages, she found nothing. That made her suspicious—had he already escaped? To slip away so silently would be terrifying.

Was he about to ambush her? After a moment, Monica began to focus on her defenses, watching for any movement. Meanwhile, Evan had already used Light Transformation, then switched to Earthshift, burrowing deep into the ground.

He'd already figured out the best way to deal with Monica: drag her underground. Since she hadn't mastered Earthshift, her power would be greatly suppressed once inside, making it much easier for him to kill her.

After waiting a moment, Evan slowly moved beneath Monica's feet, ready to pull her down into the earth at just the right moment.

Monica had guarded every part of her body except her feet. Suddenly, a tremendous force yanked her downward—her whole body plunged into the earth, descending so fast she couldn't resist at all.

Evan was dragging Monica by her feet, diving madly deeper into the ground. His Earthshift technique was now perfected, letting him burrow incredibly deep—where the pressure of the earth grew heavier and heavier.

"Let go of me! Let go, you brat!" Monica screamed in terror. For the first time, boundless fear surged in her heart.

"Just wait a bit—I'm not in a hurry, so why are you? Weren't you so tough a minute ago, ready to kill me? Today you'll see what real strength is. Soon, I'll show you the most wonderful feeling of all." Evan laughed.

Saying things like that, even Evan felt a bit embarrassed—but deep down, he really did want this. After so many years with Nisha in the Timewheel Bracelet, he'd never done it once, and the longing still burned inside him...
