He Would Surely Twist Her Neck

Grace took a look around—the Alchemy Room was indeed impressive. Next to it were a dining room, a lounge, a washroom, several rooms for attendants, and even a private kitchen with a small courtyard.

"Did you bring any assistants with you?"

"I brought two," Grace replied. "They're both at the inn."

"Good, bring them over tomorrow!" Ms. Rachel Zhang said. "As for what's inside here—just add whatever you need, and have your assistants help you set things up."

"Thank you, Ms. Zhang!" Grace said gratefully.

"I liked you from the moment I met you," Ms. Zhang said with a smile. "Do your best! If you have any questions, just come to me."

Grace nodded, feeling truly lucky to have met such a wonderful division chief right away.

"By the way, do you have a residence in Sigil City?"

"No," Grace replied. "But I'm planning to look around and buy a house."

"Sigil City is pricey—looks like your family must be pretty well-off," Ms. Zhang raised an eyebrow.

"It's just average, really. Can't compare to the local big shots and wealthy families," Grace said.

Compared to the prominent and influential families of Sigil City, the Zhu Family really isn’t much.

But at least we can afford to buy a house here.

"Hehe, this is the Alliance Token from the Herb Division. With it, you can come and go freely," Ms. Rachel Zhang said, handing her the token. "Don’t worry about anything else these two days—just get settled in first, then we’ll talk."

"Yes, thank you so much, Ms. Zhang!" Grace bowed politely.

That afternoon, she brought Bobby and Rona Yin with her. The three of them organized and arranged everything according to the layout, making the place neat and cozy.

Meanwhile, Maya Summers and the Zhu Family staff were busy searching all over for a suitable residence, hoping to find a place to settle down.

...

Drake Abyss.

The House Drake, after all, belonged to the water tribe.

When they’re bored, they love soaking in the water.

So the water domain of Drake Abyss took up nearly half the area.

Besides the vast Sea of Gods, there were plenty of smaller water realms.

Like the Nine Waters of Drake Abyss, for example.

Among them, Heaven’s Pool was reserved for the royal clan only.

Crown Prince Evan Xiao, in human form, was soaking in Heaven’s Pool.

The water in Heaven’s Pool was formed by countless years of heavenly rain, crystal clear and refreshing—a true boon for cultivation.

The gentle waves of Heaven’s Pool brushed over Evan Xiao’s bare body, like a soft massage.

For some strange reason, Evan suddenly remembered the way he’d looked for Grace that day.

That woman was absolutely shameless.

She actually showed up in front of him wearing nothing but a nightgown.

And she made him lie on her bed.

She even gave his chest a little massage...

In all his thousand years of memories as Crown Prince, no woman had ever gotten so close to him!

That soft, boneless hand kneaded his chest, those seemingly innocent eyes staring at him—while her mind was clearly full of naughty thoughts...

If she hadn’t been just a powerless little stray, he definitely would’ve wrung her neck!

As Evan Xiao was lost in thought, he suddenly felt unusually hot.

Just like that day, when her hands were moving over his chest...

His body shifted... Something felt off.

He was... hard.

Even his pants were tented upward.

"That damned woman!" Evan muttered, glancing down and deciding he should move to a cooler part of the pool.

But as soon as he looked down, his expression turned cold.

On his chest, those words had appeared again: Evan Xiao loves Grace.

Hadn’t they already disappeared?

Even when he’d bathed in hot water these past few days, they hadn’t shown up again.
