Breaking Down the Door

The ingredients and techniques she used were exactly the same as his.

If he hadn't taught her, even Jun Lionhead himself wouldn't believe it.

After finishing the pill, Grace held up a Genesis Core Pill, walked over to Jun Lionhead, and said, "Master, this is the Genesis Core Pill. Please take a look."

Jun Lionhead took it and sniffed—it was absolutely authentic!

He couldn't help but rub his temples.

Could he really have lost his memory?

"Besides this, I know a bunch of your secret recipes too. You taught me all of them..." Grace added with a cheeky grin.

Jun Lionhead stared at her for a long time before saying, "Go home for now. I need to think."

"Okay... I'll head home then," Grace replied, putting the Genesis Core Pill aside and heading out, still feeling a bit guilty for confusing her master.

Once she'd gone far enough, Jun Lionhead took out the compass again, watching as the ripples on it faded from deep to shallow, until it was completely calm.

"What's up with her?" Jun Lionhead closed his eyes, feeling perfectly clear-headed. "I don't seem to have lost my memory..."

Grace had successfully confused her master and returned home feeling a bit guilty.

But as soon as she arrived, chaos had erupted at her residence.

A mob had gathered at her front gate, banging on the door.

While pounding on the door, they shouted, "Tell that stinking Grace to come out!"

"If you don't come out, we'll burn your whole house down!"

"Open up!"

...

"Damn it!" Grace drew her Scarlet Sky Sword and flung it out with a flick of her wrist.

"Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!" The sword sliced through the air, circling the necks of the leading door-bashers before pinning itself to the ground.

Those guys didn't dare smash the door anymore. They rubbed their burning necks and stiffly turned to look at her.

"Who are you people?" Grace asked in a deep voice.

"That's Grace! Get her!" Suddenly, a voice came from behind.

Grace turned and saw Andrew Zhao, being helped along by two guards, walking over in a weird posture.

"Well, well, who’s got the guts to mess with me? Oh, look who it is!" Grace flashed a wicked grin. "What’s wrong, Andrew? Your manhood broken and now you’re here for payback?"

"What are you waiting for? Get her! Leave her barely alive, then drag her to the alley for me!" Andrew Zhao shouted furiously.

The guards immediately surged forward.

In the Vermilion Kingdom, anyone qualified to be a guard in a Duke's mansion usually had a cultivation level between third and fifth rank.

Grace didn't hold back—she beat them all to a pulp.

"Stinking woman, you really do have skills! You two, go!" Andrew Zhao ordered the two men supporting him.

The two men started walking toward Grace.

A powerful aura pressed down on her.

Only true Spirit Masters could possess such an intimidating presence.

Two Spirit Masters—she couldn't beat them.

Grace bit her lip and grabbed two hidden weapons from her Sanctum.

With hidden weapons in hand, even if she couldn't kill them, she wouldn't let them walk away unscathed.

"What's going on?" Suddenly, a familiar voice rang out.

Grace looked over—it was Evan Xiao, and Tenner was right behind him.

She figured Tenner must've gone to get help.

"Who the hell are you?" Andrew Zhao, son of Duke Zhao Mansion, really wasn't much to write home about. He only had a minor job buying herbs at the National Medical Bureau—nowhere near the level of a court official.

So, he didn't even recognize the hottest general in town.

Evan Xiao ignored him and walked up to Grace, asking, "What's going on?"

"He's the son of Duke Zhao Mansion. I didn't like his attitude, so I kicked him in the crotch. Now he's here for revenge," Grace said.
