The interstitial void between the two realms was filled with rending astral winds. For Joe Di, whose body had reached Divine Physique perfection, these winds were more suitable for tempering his divine sense than his physical body.
Joe Di quickly left a mark at his original position, then gathered Rule power in both hands and tore at the rift again with a reverse motion.
The Void Rift he had torn open earlier was now as solid as stone under Joe Di's hands. Even though he used more immortal essence power this time, he couldn't tear open even the slightest gap.
One day, as usual, Joe Di searched for traces of divine sense in the interstitial layer between the realms, but was suddenly blocked by an enormous mountain.
Standing at the foot of the giant mountain, Joe Di found that the astral winds and spatial currents had disappeared. This towering colossus kept all the astral winds and spatial currents outside.
As soon as Joe Di's divine sense penetrated the towering mountain, it was immediately repelled.
After marking his location, Joe Di spread his divine sense without reservation. He was certain that Quentin June, whom he had severely wounded with a single slash, was still trapped in this Rift and unable to reach the true higher realm.
This Rift was filled with dim gloom, endless spatial blades, and chaotic spatial currents swirling everywhere. Yet for Joe Di's physical body, these spatial blades and currents posed little threat.
Joe Di hesitated only for a moment before resolutely stepping into the mountain.
Upon entering the mountain, Joe Di felt himself in a realm of illusion. The astral winds and spatial currents were gone, replaced by the corrosion of various Dao aura and ability marks.
Joe Di felt that if he dared to enter the depths of this giant mountain, the danger he faced would be a hundred times greater than that between the two realms.
In fact, with his Rule Cycle cultivation and powerful body-refining physique, there was little danger left for him in the space between the two realms.
But this ethereal giant mountain, once entered, might well cause him to perish under the corrosion of various Dao marks.
Joe Di cultivated the Rule Cycle, studying the origins of all universal laws. He understood that such Dao mark corrosion was definitely not left by Immortal Realm experts.
In other words, those who had come to this mountain before were far more powerful than Immortal Realm experts. Yet for some reason, they ended up in the interstitial space between the two realms.
As soon as Joe Di's divine sense penetrated the mountain, it was immediately repelled.
Yet Joe Di sensed extremely profound Dao aura and countless marks of powerful abilities within.
What kind of mountain is this? How could such a peak exist in the Rift between two realms?
Joe Di hesitated only for a moment before resolutely stepping into the mountain.

Joe Di cultivated the Rule Cycle, studying the origins of all laws in heaven and earth. He understood that such Dao mark corrosion could never have been left by Immortal Realm experts.
In other words, those who had come to this mountain before were far more powerful than Immortal Realm cultivators. Yet for some reason, they ended up in the Rift between the two realms.
The entire mountain was suffused with Dao mark aura, and Joe Di's divine sense could not fully penetrate it. With danger lurking everywhere, he slowed his pace.
After only a dozen steps, Joe Di bent down and picked up a broken sword.
Joe Di had never cultivated the sword path, but he had encountered top sword cultivators before. In the cultivation world, he met Don Rightblade, whose sword path was unique and formed sword arrays far more powerful than those of the same rank. Joe Di's blade array was actually learned from Don Rightblade's sword path.
Because his Rule Cycle could already annihilate opponents of the same rank, and his time had always been tight, he never stopped to study blade arrays in depth. As a result, since entering the Immortal Realm, his blade array had been set aside.
Besides Don Rightblade, there was also Master Bowie Zhou. Master Zhou's sword path was equally formidable, but even so, it could not compare to one ten-thousandth of the power contained in this broken sword.
No one knew how many years this broken sword had lain here, yet the sword intent it contained was still as overwhelming as stormy waves, crashing over him again and again.
Joe Di's physical body was truly formidable. Had his physique been any weaker, picking up this broken sword would have caused the residual sword intent to tear him apart.
So powerful! That was the only thought in Joe Di's mind.
Joe Di didn't discard the broken sword. He wrapped it with a restriction and placed it in a jade box. The sword was of little use to him, as his blade path was forged from his own rules.
Joe Di knew that this broken sword would be of great use to Master Bowie Zhou. He kept it, planning to bring it back for Master Zhou.
Along the way, Joe Di saw more broken weapons—broken spears, axe fragments, hammer artifact shards, giant halberd fragments...
Each artifact fragment was filled with endless murderous aura. Joe Di suspected that this mountain was once an ancient battlefield where supreme experts fought fiercely. In the end, they perished together, leaving only these artifact remnants behind.
Three days later, Joe Di stopped beside a white jade skeleton.
After several days in the giant mountain, this was the first time Joe Di had seen a skeleton. In the previous days, he had only seen artifact fragments and huge ravines torn open by artifacts.
The only thing missing was corpses; it seemed as if all the bones in the mountain had vanished.
Now Joe Di saw a skeleton—not only that, but this skeleton was clutching a white jade stele about three feet tall.
The skeleton itself was like white jade, and with the stele in its arms, from afar it looked like a single entity.
There were three characters on the white jade stele: Voidmount.
Voidmount? Joe Di looked up at the distant gray mountain peak and muttered, "Could this mountain really be Voidmount?"
The name Voidmount was certainly distinctive. Joe Di reached out, wanting to take a closer look at the white jade stele inscribed with Voidmount.
Unexpectedly, when he tried to roll it up, nothing happened.
Clearly, the white jade skeleton holding the stele prevented Joe Di from taking it away.
Joe Di was puzzled. He tried again with his divine sense.
To his shock, the white jade stele still did not budge.
Joe Di took several steps back. Even a fool would know this was no ordinary situation. With his strength, not to mention a white jade stele, even a low-level planet could be swept into his hand with a flick of his divine sense.
The only reason he couldn't move the white jade stele was that the skeleton was holding it too tightly.
