Wedding Day

1/4/2026

Cecilia Gu put down her book and took the guest list handed over by Wendy. She glanced at it and nodded, saying, "There really are quite a few famous politicians and celebrities here."

The Yin Family's main influence is overseas.

So most of the guests are from abroad.

There are not only government officials, but also some major business tycoons.

A certain party leader, unable to appear in person, specially recorded a video and sent a gift.

Actually, they originally planned to hold the wedding abroad.

But as Cecilia's health became more of a concern, Charles Yin decisively canceled those plans.

He absolutely couldn't let anything happen to Cecilia's health!

After looking over the list, Cecilia handed it back to Wendy. "Alright, let's go with this arrangement. Is everything ready over there?"

Wendy nodded, "Yes. Besides the main manor, we've also bought and renovated several neighboring estates. Now, there's enough space to accommodate thousands of guests. Mr. Yin said that everyone attending this wedding has status, so they can't stay in hotels. Some guests need to keep a low profile, so the manor will be put to good use."

Cecilia nodded in agreement.

Wendy continued, "My cousin has been busy with this for days. He's in charge of the wedding's security and hasn't had a moment to rest. The safety of all those VIPs can't be taken lightly."

Cecilia nodded again.

Wendy sighed, "We thought it would be a simple event, but now there's no way it'll be simple."

Cecilia held back a laugh and said, "So what about your wedding? I heard you brought Little A home and your family is quite happy!"

Wendy's face instantly flushed red. "Madam! You're teasing me again!"

Cecilia kept smiling mischievously. "Come on, tell me—what kind of wedding do you want? If I can make it happen, I will!"

Wendy grabbed the list and hurried off. "I need to get this to Mr. Yin right away!"

Watching Wendy's retreating figure, Cecilia burst out laughing.

Days without having to worry about managing things pass by in a flash.

In the two days leading up to the wedding, all Cecilia had to do was eat, drink, and relax—everything else was taken care of by others.

Finally, the wedding arrived, just as everyone had been eagerly waiting.

The day before the wedding, Rona Muir and Sophie Mo came over, and the three brides spent their last night of being single together.

Oh, right.

The three grooms also spent their last night as bachelors together.

Most people would go clubbing or meet up with exes on their last night of being single, but these three grooms just kept brainstorming ways to make their wives happy!

That's right—their only goal was to make their wives happy!

If their wives weren't happy, it would be the end of the world!

Exactly how they discussed it, no one else would ever know.

All the assistants were sent away—such private topics couldn't be overheard by anyone else!

So, on the wedding day, both the brides and the grooms were full of energy and ready for the big event.

Cecilia turned around, looked in the mirror, patted her belly, and said, "I think I've gained weight again! This wedding dress feels a little tight!"

Rona Muir sighed, "That's because you've been eating so much lately! You haven't gained weight anywhere else—just your belly. I'm really worried you'll give birth to a little foodie. What if you can't afford to feed them?"

"There are two godmothers for that," Cecilia raised her eyebrows, grinning mischievously.

Sophie Mo and Rona Muir rolled their eyes at the same time. "We knew you'd come up with something like that."

Wendy hurried in from outside and asked, "How are the three brides doing? The wedding cars are almost here!"

"We're ready!" the three of them answered quickly. "Almost done!"

Cecilia rode in the first car, Rona Muir in the second, and Sophie Mo in the third, each arriving at the wedding venue in turn.

The three grooms stood in a row, their eyes practically turning blue from waiting.

No matter which one it was, the desire to bring their bride home was almost unbearable.

"They're here, they're here," Little A whispered. "Mr. Yin, remember to stay calm—after all that rehearsal last night!"

Charles Yin, Julian King, and Jiro Hirayama all glared at Little A at the same time.

Looks like their practice last night wasn't a secret after all...

Charles Yin cleared his throat lightly. "Alright, I got it!"

He then pretended not to be nervous and looked outside.

The assistants couldn't help but stifle their laughter.

Sitting in the car, Cecilia was honestly a bit nervous.

But the little one in her belly was especially quiet today.

It was as if the baby sensed Cecilia's nerves, kicking her gently.

When the car door opened, Cecilia saw her father, Mr. Yun, standing outside in a black suit.

Cecilia gave Mr. Yun a sweet smile, and with music playing, she slowly walked forward arm in arm with her father.

Rona Muir arrived second, cheerfully linking arms with Professor Mu and following behind.

Sophie Mo was much more composed when she got out of the car, walking gracefully toward the entrance.

Mr. Mo, on the other hand, was so anxious he looked ready to pack up his daughter and hand her over immediately.

The three grooms waiting up front looked so eager it was almost comical.

Cecilia and Charles Yin gazed at each other from a distance.

Step by step, the distance between them grew shorter...

And step by step, their hearts drew closer...

Suddenly, Cecilia flashed a playful smile at Charles Yin.

This was their second wedding ceremony.

The memories of their first wedding ceremony were still vivid.

But this time, their feelings were completely different.

Charles Yin seemed to sense what Cecilia was thinking and gave her an apologetic smile.

The last wedding had left her with bad memories.

This time, he was determined to make it absolutely perfect!

When Mr. Yun handed Cecilia over to Charles Yin, Charles whispered, "You look truly beautiful today."

Cecilia just smiled.

They exchanged a knowing look and left together.

Rona Muir strode in confidently, scanning the venue until her gaze landed on a familiar figure.

Sean Kerr!

He really did come back!

Professor Mu gently patted Rona Muir's hand, prompting her to look away.

Today was her wedding day; it was time to let the past go.

Jiro Hirayama stood there grinning at his bride, completely oblivious to Sean Kerr behind him. His gaze was so intense it could have burned a hole through his back.

"Jiro, I'm entrusting Nana to you," Professor Mu said emotionally. "Somehow, having a son-in-law feels more like gaining a daughter-in-law!"

Rona Muir and Jiro Hirayama both laughed. "It's all the same!"

Jiro Hirayama said, "Dad, I won't let you down."

"Good," Professor Mu nodded, his eyes turning red.

Rona Muir happily linked arms with Jiro Hirayama and walked away.

Mr. Mo strode over with Sophie Mo, handing her directly to Julian King. "She's yours now—my job here is done," he declared.

Sophie Mo couldn't help but give a wry smile.

She'd only run away from one wedding!

Was all this really necessary?

Julian King happily took Sophie Mo's hand and led her forward.

Her father was really something!

Among the guests, a delicate and graceful young woman watched the three couples and suddenly burst into tears.

Eric Jiang thoughtfully handed her a handkerchief. "Why are you crying?"

"I'm just so happy for her," the girl sobbed uncontrollably. "She's been through so much—finally, she hasn't let..."

"You seem to care a lot about her?" Eric Jiang glanced at Cecilia, then back at the girl. "Miss Yun, if I may ask, are you close with Cecilia?"

"No, not at all," the girl replied hastily, shaking her head. "I didn't say anything."

Eric Jiang raised his eyebrows. "That's interesting. Molly Yun, your invitation was personally handed to me by Cecilia, who insisted you be here for her wedding. If you two aren't close, why did you send her such a rare orchid? I know your family's situation isn't exactly well-off."

Molly Yun gave a tearful, bitter smile. "So Mr. Jiang has already investigated everything about me. What difference does it make whether I explain or not?"

Eric Jiang grew even more interested.

If Molly Yun really had nothing to do with Cecilia, he'd never believe it!

Not far from Eric Jiang and Molly Yun stood Max Mo, his expression calm.

His companion was still the lawyer, Julia Yu.

"It's such an enviable wedding," Julia Yu couldn't help but sigh.

"Then why don't you get married?" Max Mo lowered his blue eyes, his tone unreadable.

"Marriage isn't for me," Julia Yu replied calmly. "I'm a committed single."

Max Mo's lips curled into a slight smile. "Oh?"

Julia Yu quickly glanced away and spotted Ethan Yin sitting there, looking forlorn.

The girl beside him looked at him with longing and admiration.

But today, he seemed in no mood to comfort his companion.

Julia Yu continued, "It seems many people are committed singles—only forced by circumstances to marry. I'm lucky no one has ever forced me."

Max Mo smiled softly. "Maybe so."

Joe Qi wandered around, still unable to find the person he was looking for.

Joe Qi shook his head with a self-deprecating smile.

"It was all just wishful thinking," Joe Qi pretended to be nonchalant as he watched the three couples exchange vows, though his eyes reddened unexpectedly.

Love knows no reason, only devotion. For love, the living may die, the dead may return. If life cannot join with death, and death cannot return to life, then it is not true love. Love in dreams—why should it not be real? Is the world not full of dreamers?

Maybe, it really just wasn't meant to be.

Cecilia smiled as Charles Yin carefully slid the ring onto her finger and kissed her hand, unable to help himself.

Cecilia felt that all the hardships had been worth it.

She looked up at the sky—blue skies, white clouds, a gentle autumn breeze.

To marry you in such a beautiful season.

My wish is fulfilled.

A peaceful life, a promise kept for a lifetime.

Charles Yin, I love you.
