Ten Supreme Creatures

2/27/2026

Evan Yang was almost completely unfamiliar with this plane. Even the maps given to him by Star Lord Chen and the others mostly covered the human territories, while the regions belonging to the creatures were barely marked. So Evan could only pick a direction and stealthily slip in.

As he traveled, Evan deliberately used invisibility to avoid attracting attention from the creatures. At first, this worked fine, but later, some creatures began to sense his presence. This reminded Evan of the time in the Immortal Realm when he was hunted by these beings. He didn't know how they detected him, but one thing was clear—they would definitely track him down. Soon, bugs started approaching Evan.

Evan blazed a path at top speed, slicing through the void. Everywhere he passed, the ground was littered with creature corpses.

News of this quickly reached Queen Arachne, who was searching everywhere for Evan. When she heard, she was overjoyed: "Finally, I've found you! Quite bold, daring to come here—you're courting death."

With a flash, Queen Arachne vanished, rushing to the spot where Evan had appeared. At this point, Evan had no idea he was being targeted by a powerful creature—one far stronger than any he'd encountered before.

Unaware, Evan kept flying forward, slaughtering creatures along the way. Occasionally, he ran into some strong ones, but none could match him.

So, from the moment Evan entered the domain of these strange creatures until three days later, he had already slaughtered dozens of terrifying beings at the Immortal Sovereign level.

Then one day, a gigantic invisible web appeared in front of him. Without warning, Evan crashed right into it and realized he’d hit something. Instantly, he was stuck fast to the web, and no matter how hard he struggled, he couldn’t break free.

"Haha, you finally got caught, kid." At that moment, the surrounding web revealed itself, wrapping Evan inside.

"Who are you?" Evan stopped struggling, curious as he looked at the black-skinned woman before him, who had two long spider legs sliding across her back.

"Me? Everyone calls me Queen Arachne." The Spider Queen laughed.

"Queen Arachne? Your web is pretty tough, but if you think you can trap me with this, that's impossible." Evan smiled.

"Is that so? Go ahead and try." Queen Arachne laughed, teasing him.

Evan tried a few more times, but it really was impossible—unless he brought out the Soul-Devouring Divine Sword, which he didn't. Instead, he smiled and asked, "Hey, beautiful, I don't have any grudge against you. Aren't you worried you'll get killed for blocking me like this?"

"No grudge? You think there's no grudge just because you say so? Kid, you're way too naive. You wiped out my companions, and now you still want to escape? Do you know how long I've been searching for you?" Queen Arachne sneered.

"So that's how it is. Are you planning to fight me today?" Evan asked.

"That's right." Queen Arachne snorted.

"Then let's see how tough your web really is." Evan tried burning it with Sacred Flame.

Sacred Flame could destroy almost anything in this world. When Evan's fire touched the web, it actually reacted—it started to melt. Evan was holding back the Soul-Devouring Divine Sword, saving it as a last resort for a finishing blow.

Seeing her web melt under Evan's flame, Queen Arachne asked suspiciously, "How is this possible? What kind of flame are you using?"

"My flame is pretty powerful—want to try it for yourself?" After breaking free from the web, Evan controlled the fire and sent it flying straight at Queen Arachne.

Queen Arachne moved incredibly fast, as if invisible threads filled the air around her, letting her slip through them with ease. Evan laughed, "You sure can spread your web quickly."

"My web is like a barrier. Want to escape? You'll have to defeat me first." Queen Arachne snorted.

"Oh? Is that so? Then I really want to see how big your barrier is." Evan expanded the range of his Sacred Flame, quickly burning away all the webs around him. Queen Arachne kept weaving invisible threads at high speed, but Evan couldn't see them—he could only use his flame to open a path.

Queen Arachne was unwilling to let Evan keep burning her web without consequences. Standing tall, she shouted, "Web bugs!"

As soon as she spoke, countless tiny spiders appeared all around. These spiders could both fly and crawl, moving at terrifying speed. If you weren't careful, you'd get bitten to death. The bugs came in endless waves, so Evan had to completely wrap himself in Sacred Flame to protect his body.

But even so, some of the tougher bugs still broke through and burrowed into Evan's body, rampaging inside him and blocking the flow of his Immortal Essence. Soon, his flame started to weaken as it lost power.

In the end, all the bugs swarmed over Evan and completely buried him.

Watching Evan get buried by the bugs, Queen Arachne laughed wildly. "Ridiculous human, now you know how powerful I am!"

"You really do have some tricks. These bugs are pretty resistant to fire." Evan smiled.

"Of course. My bugs are incredibly strong." Queen Arachne sneered.

"What happens when these bugs get inside you?" Evan asked curiously.

"These bugs are extremely powerful. They'll chew through all your blood vessels, suck out all your strength, and leave you as nothing but a pile of bones. Naturally, I'll take your soul for myself." Queen Arachne laughed loudly.

Evan hadn't expected these unremarkable bugs to be so dangerous. But when he checked inside his body, he found the Heaven-Cold Seed was changing, releasing its own energy. Every time the bugs damaged something, cold qi would repair it, so in the end, Evan was completely fine.

Queen Arachne had no idea Evan was actually fine—she thought he was suffering, and kept mocking him.

"Kid, stop struggling. The more you fight, the faster your strength drains. Instead, you should spend your last moments thinking about your family and friends—you'll never get another chance." Queen Arachne sneered.

Evan smiled, "Never seeing them again? That's not happening."

"You still have the mood to smile?" Queen Arachne sneered.

"Of course. I'm in a great mood—I'm just thinking about how to finish you in one move." Evan replied.

"Haha, that's pure fantasy. Who do you think you are?" Queen Arachne snorted.

"It's not fantasy—it's reality." Suddenly, Evan erupted with power, burning away all the bugs around him. At the same time, he gripped the Soul-Devouring Divine Sword and slashed down.

Queen Arachne never expected Evan to have such power. She hurriedly dodged, but still lost half her body to his strike.

"Damn it!" Seeing half her body destroyed, Queen Arachne was furious.

"Still not dead? That's impressive. Let's see what happens next." Evan raised the Soul-Devouring Divine Sword for another attack.

Queen Arachne was now weak and didn't dare linger. She quickly unleashed countless bugs, forcing Evan to defend himself. By the time he destroyed the bugs, Queen Arachne had already vanished.

"That Queen Arachne is actually pretty strong," Evan muttered. He put away his sword and continued on his way—he had no time to waste on a mysterious creature.

Queen Arachne, now weakened and missing half her body, returned to her lair. Staring furiously ahead, she growled, "Damn human, just you wait. I don't believe you can escape me."

She spent a lot of energy to restore half her body, but instead of hunting Evan alone, she headed somewhere else.

In a patch of void, a huge boulder glowed faint green. Queen Arachne arrived and shouted at the rock, "Everyone, it's time to wake up! If you don't, humanity will wipe us all out!"

Suddenly, the green glow intensified, and ten stone coffins appeared. From each coffin crawled out a creature with a human body but a strange, monstrous head.

A large creature looked at Queen Arachne and said, "Queen Arachne, why are you making such a racket here? Don't you know it's forbidden to disturb our rest?"

"Lord Shen, if I hadn't come, we'd all be in danger." Queen Arachne said.

"What's going on? Speak quickly. If you waste our time, you'll stay here today." the creature demanded.

"A terrifying human has appeared and killed many of our strongest creatures. Even I lost half my body to his artifact." Queen Arachne said.

"Is that so?" These creatures knew Queen Arachne was one of the top fighters. If a human could do this, he should stay in human territory—why come here? Are they planning to invade?

"That's right. It's absolutely true," Queen Arachne said.

"Did you provoke him on purpose, and then he came after you?" the creature asked. "No, it seems he's heading east for some reason," Queen Arachne replied.

"East? Isn't that the Spirit Void Realm?" the creature exclaimed.

"Lord Shen, what's the Spirit Void Realm?" Queen Arachne asked curiously.
