Gathering at Fenn Council Hall

2/14/2026

Evan Yang smoothly left Third Young Master Fenn's side, letting him attack all he wanted.

At this moment, Evan was glad that the few guys who had been watching him since Second Young Master Fenn arrived had disappeared right when he struck at Third Young Master Fenn—they thought he would be taken away by Third Young Master.

But to their surprise, after they left, Evan attacked Third Young Master Fenn—and now had him trapped there.

After several rounds of attacks, Third Young Master Fenn only managed to break a tiny bit of the formation. To completely break out would take at least half a day. Furious, he grabbed a communication stone and sent a message to his family.

Once the family received the message, they all started moving, heading toward where Third Young Master Fenn was.

As for Evan, he had already left them and returned to Clarin Star, taking a Hidden Dragon Elixir to change his appearance completely.

"If I don't want the Fenn Family chasing me, I have to catch that guy." Right now, Evan was determined to bring that middle-aged man with him—he couldn't let him stay behind and cause trouble, since he could use his arts to divine Ye Chen's whereabouts in Evan's tower.

Catching him wasn't just to prevent the Fenn Family's pursuit—the main reason was to ask about how to resolve the Tyrant Seal Art's side effects.

This was just a sliver of hope Evan held onto. He soon arrived near Grand Arrival Inn again, releasing his Divine Sense and Thousand-Mile Echo to search for whether they were still inside.

The Fiend Palace group, after receiving Second Young Master Fenn's Spirit Crystal Ore, went to a luxury restaurant to feast.

"Young Master, the delicacies of the Human World really are something else," the elder beside the youth said with a smile.

"Absolutely. The Human World is way better than our Fiend Realm, where everything only comes in three colors. Even the food is better here." The youth laughed, tasting the fine wine on the table.

Unlike the Fiend Realm, the Human World doesn't just have three colors in its void.

Everyone agreed. So all those who came out with the youth were in high spirits—even General Northcliff felt secretly pleased. With Evan Yang dead, he no longer cared about him and just kept eating, drinking, and having fun with the youth.

"Didn't expect to rake in so much today," the middle-aged man said with a smile.

"It's all thanks to you. Otherwise, how could we have gotten so much crystal ore from that Fenn Family guy?" The youth laughed.

"Good thing we're in the Human World. If this were the Fiend Realm, it wouldn't be nearly as nice." The middle-aged man said smugly.

Just as the youth was about to speak, the elder received a message. After reading it, he said, "First Young Master wants me to come over for a bit."

"What's up? Trouble?" the youth asked suspiciously.

"Yeah, looks like there's some trouble. Probably worried about not having enough people, so he wants me to help out." The elder nodded.

"Go ahead, then. We'll be in touch," the youth nodded.

The elder then said his goodbyes and left through the restaurant entrance.

As he was leaving, a mortal exited the restaurant—this was Evan Yang in disguise. He had been searching for Fiend Realm people all over, sweeping every location, until he saw someone appear at the restaurant entrance and was drawn over.

"He left via the teleportation array here, so the others should still be inside this restaurant," Evan muttered.

He entered the restaurant under the pretense of eating and drinking, sweeping every area with his Divine Sense to search for the Fiend Palace group.

After scanning for a while, he heard their voices in a private room on the second floor. Probing with his Divine Sense, he saw the youth drinking with the group.

"That elder's gone, and the rest aren't strong enough to stop me," Evan thought. He knew their strength hadn't broken through to the Spirit-Gathering Realm—five of them had been to Hundred-Change Valley, and the rest were even weaker.

Knowing time was short, Evan prepared himself, grabbed a bottle of wine, and pretended to be a drunkard—then stumbled right in front of their private room.

The group was annoyed. General Northcliff was closest to the door, so he stepped forward and said to Evan, "Get lost!" The others watched like it was a show, waiting to see how Northcliff would kick the mortal out, completely unguarded—they all thought he was just a regular mortal.

But then, the 'mortal' moved—at lightning speed, smashing the wine bottle straight onto Northcliff's head, leaving him stunned.

As the group reacted, Evan was already beside the middle-aged man. He struck hard, causing the man to clutch his stomach in pain. Evan sealed his entire body and stored him in the tower, then flashed out of the restaurant.

It all happened within just two breaths.

"It's him!" the group exclaimed in shock once they realized what happened.

The Fiend Palace youth was furious. "After him!"

General Northcliff wiped the blood from his forehead, glaring angrily as he chased after Evan with the others.

But their speed was nothing compared to Evan's Spirit-God Realm pace.

Evan quickly left them behind, found a spot, used the Hidden Dragon Elixir again, and disguised himself as another mortal.

It was as if nothing had happened. Once everything was ready, Evan walked out and slowly made his way to the teleportation array.

There were quite a few people—two were already waiting by the teleportation array, while the rest kept searching for Evan in the city.

Evan avoided the two guards and left the city smoothly.

After searching for half an hour with no sign of Evan, the group gathered together.

"Damn it! How is he still alive?" The youth was furious.

"No idea. It's so strange," General Northcliff said, unable to figure it out.

"I'm so pissed. If only he were here." The youth now regretted letting the elder leave.

Just as everyone was complaining, a group from the Fenn Family arrived in Mallin City, led by Third Young Master Fenn, along with Second Young Master Fenn and Fifth Squad Captain Miles Fenn.

"Why are they here?" The Fiend Palace youth was suspicious when he saw the Fenn Family group.

Third Young Master Fenn and the others were excited to find the group still in the city. "Our Fenn Family wants your help again—any price is fine."

"What is it?" The Fiend Palace youth was still angry, so his tone was a bit unwilling.

"It's about today, your... um, that..." Third Young Master Fenn was looking for the middle-aged man, but realized he wasn't there and asked where he had gone.

"I'm so pissed. If only he were here." The Fiend Palace youth now regretted letting the elder leave.

After the youth explained what had happened in the past hour to the Fenn Family group, they were all shocked and furious.

When the Fenn Family told the youth about Evan's situation, the Fiend Palace group blushed with embarrassment.

"Looks like he was worried about being found again, so he took your man too," Third Young Master Feng said angrily.

"Damn it, if I catch him, I won't let him off," the youth said angrily.

Miles Fenn spoke up, "Do you have a way to find your man?"

"Damn it! How is he still alive?" The Fiend Palace youth was furious.

"Are you interested in visiting our Fenn Family?" Miles Fenn asked.

The youth hesitated. "Go to your Fenn Family?"

"We share a common enemy. More people means more ways," Miles Fenn said, noting the group's unique abilities to search for people—even if their man was captured, he was still interested.

"Damn it, if I catch him, I won't let him off," the Fiend Palace youth said angrily.

So, at the Fenn Family's invitation, the Fiend Palace group went to the Fenn Family's home planet.

In the Fenn Council Hall, many people were gathered: the three Fenn young masters, Steward Fenn, Miles Fenn, and the Fiend Palace group.

After hearing Third Young Master Fenn recount the whole incident, Steward Fenn frowned and asked, "Second Young Master, do you have anything to say?"

"What are you saying? If you knew, why didn't you catch him when he was here those days?" Second Young Master Fenn retorted angrily.

Second Young Master Fenn tried to shift the blame, but Third Young Master Fenn wasn't having it. "Hmph, you hired someone like that and still didn't know?"

"What are you saying? If you knew, why didn't you catch him when he was here those days?" Second Young Master Fenn retorted angrily.

Just as Third Young Master Fenn was about to continue venting his anger about Evan, Steward Fenn spoke up. "Enough, both of you."

With Steward Fenn's intervention, both Second and Third Young Masters fell silent, not daring to say another word—as if Steward Fenn were their clan head.

Seeing the two quiet, Steward Fenn spoke. "First, let me welcome you all on behalf of the Fenn Family."

"Thank you," the youth replied, though he was still frustrated—his man had been captured, and finding him would be difficult, especially since the opponent had a spatial treasure.
