Breaking Out Through the Belly

"What kind of rule is that? Are you all secluded from the world and turned into celibate maidens?" Evan Yang muttered.

"Celibate maidens?" Lora Luo glared at Evan Yang.

"You wouldn't get it even if I explained. Whatever, it's up to you. If you want me to treat you, come over. If not, suit yourself—I've got plenty of time." Evan Yang said with a smile.

Even at a one-meter distance, Evan Yang could treat her, but he wanted to tease Lora Luo, deliberately claiming he couldn't heal her from that far away.

Seeing Evan Yang just standing there, Lora Luo snapped angrily, "So you really can't do it from a meter away?"

"My abilities are limited. I can't do it from a meter away," Evan Yang replied.

"You're such a scoundrel," Lora Luo glared.

"Say whatever you want," Evan Yang replied.

Flushed with anger by Evan Yang, Lora Luo's wound slowly began to reopen. She muttered to herself, "Maybe I should let him treat me first, then teach him a lesson once I'm healed."

Still convinced that Evan Yang was just an eighth-tier Heavenly-Immortal and couldn't possibly beat her, Lora Luo confidently plotted how she'd win later. She gritted her teeth and said, "Fine, you can come closer—but your hands can't touch me."

"Hey, how am I supposed to treat you without touching you? If you keep this up, I'll just leave you alone to recover on your own. By the time you're healed, I'll be long gone—so you can teach me a lesson then, if you want." Evan Yang said.

Evan's words struck another soft spot in Lora Luo's heart. Furious, she said, "Fine, I won't argue with you. Once I'm healed, I'll deal with you properly."

"That's more like it," Evan Yang said with a smile.

"Let's get started," Lora Luo said through gritted teeth, helplessly.

Evan Yang smiled, walked over, turned around, and placed his hand on Lora Luo's back. A cool sensation spread into her back.

The touch made her whole body tremble before gradually relaxing. In her heart, she cursed, "Just wait, I'll definitely chop off your hand."

Lora Luo, who had never been touched by anyone before, could only helplessly accept Evan Yang's treatment.

After what felt like a whole day inside, though only a short while had passed outside, Evan Yang withdrew his hand and said with a smile, "All done."

Lora Luo got up and found that her body was truly healed, even her wounds had fully closed. She couldn't believe Evan Yang had such abilities, but her resentment toward him wasn't so easily resolved. If he hadn't taken her sword, she wouldn't have chased him here, nor ended up like this. She snorted coldly, "Today, I'm going to have a proper duel with you."

"A duel? We'll have to get out of here first," Evan Yang said with a laugh.

Lora Luo looked around, finally realizing they were somewhere else. She frowned and asked, "Where are we?" "I'm not telling you for now," Evan Yang replied.

"You—" Lora Luo glared at Evan Yang.

Evan Yang released a strand of divine sense outside, then controlled the tower and said, "We're inside that monster fish's belly right now."

"What? Its belly? Then how do we get out!" Lora Luo exclaimed in shock.

"If you want to get out, cooperate with me first. As for our personal matters, we'll settle those after we escape, OK?" Evan Yang said.

Lora Luo snorted coldly, "I'll spare your life—for now."

"You really think you're invincible, huh?" Evan Yang shook his head helplessly.

Lora Luo had grown up in her sect, never seeing the outside world. It had instilled in her the belief that Blue Robe Sect was the strongest, and everyone inside was a master. That upbringing shaped her attitude.

"So, one question: do we cooperate, or do you want to fight me now?" Evan Yang asked.

Lora Luo thought for a moment, then said, "Let's cooperate first, then fight later."
