Fury Destroys the Avatar

When Logan Li said his recovery was almost complete, Evan Yang smiled, "Then I'll begin."

Begin? Begin what? Logan Li and Janelle Jiang looked at Evan Yang, puzzled.

Then they saw another figure split off from Evan Yang's body—a translucent avatar.

A Spirit-Wandering projection! Both were shocked, staring at Evan Yang in disbelief.

"In a moment, just focus on restoring your physical body. I'll assist you from the side," Evan Yang's true self said to Logan Li. Logan was so stunned it took him a while to snap out of it, then he closed his eyes and tried to calm himself.

Janelle Jiang, meanwhile, was inwardly shaken. She never expected Evan Yang to progress so fast—after just eight years apart, he'd reached Spirit-Wandering. No one could believe it.

She had no idea Evan Yang had spent four hundred years here to achieve this result.

To avoid disturbing Evan Yang, Janelle Jiang suppressed her curiosity as much as possible and watched quietly from the side.

Time ticked by. After several days, Evan Yang withdrew his power, and Logan Li's physical body had recovered, though it was still unstable—it would take time for his body and Nascent Soul to fully fuse and adapt.

During this lull, Janelle Jiang sent Evan Yang a sound-transmission: "What exactly happened?"

After Evan Yang looked at her, he explained his situation. When Janelle Jiang heard it was because of the tower—and that Evan had spent over four hundred years here—her eyes widened in disbelief. "You've already spent more than four hundred years?"

"Yeah. Otherwise, how could I break through to Spirit-Wandering so quickly?" Evan Yang smiled.

"True. If you'd reached Spirit-Wandering without relying on anything, I'd honestly have treated you like a monster," Janelle Jiang said, finally understanding.

"If you stay here for a while, you can reach it too," Evan Yang said with a smile.

"Here? I can stay?" Janelle Jiang really wanted to reach Spirit-Wandering sooner, but had never had the opportunity—she'd spent years running around for the Shadowhand Guild.

"Why not?" Evan Yang was now the master of the tower, so he could control everything here.

"But this tower belongs to the Free Alliance—they'll take it back sooner or later." Janelle Jiang shook her head, feeling uneasy.

Evan Yang paused, then thought aloud, "Alright, let's wait until I've negotiated with the Free Alliance before deciding."

"I think it'll be really tough," Janelle Jiang said, knowing how powerful the artifact was. She couldn't believe the Free Alliance would ever hand it over to Evan Yang.

Evan Yang was determined to obtain this artifact. No matter what conditions the Free Alliance set, as long as he could manage it, he'd do his best to meet them.

Afterward, Evan Yang discussed the situation outside with Janelle Jiang, going over the details and catching up.

"You two stay here for now. I'm heading out for a bit," Evan Yang said, seeing there was nothing left for him to do inside, and planned to go look for the Blue Clan.

"Be careful. The Blue Clan currently has ten Spirit-Wandering experts on guard!" Janelle Jiang knew Evan Yang was at the Spirit-Wandering Realm, but still worried he'd act rashly. Facing ten at once was certain death.

Evan Yang smiled, "Don't worry, I know my limits."

Then Evan Yang left the tower. Outside, he glanced at the Sky-Piercing Tower, then at the miniature Tower Spirit he'd refined. "Receive!"

The Sky-Piercing Tower instantly shrank, overlapping with Evan Yang's Tower Spirit and returning to his body.

"This Sky-Piercing Tower really is incredible. No matter what, I have to get it from the Free Alliance." At that moment, Evan Yang's desire to possess the tower grew even stronger.

After stowing the tower, Evan Yang began inspecting the space. He found it was like his Space Ring, though a bit smaller.

"Let's see if I can destroy this space!" Evan Yang sent out five hundred strands of divine sense, searching for the most likely weak spot in the ring.

Every Space Ring is artificially made, with a pocket dimension inside. Naturally, some spaces are stronger and some weaker. The strong can trap experts, the weak can only trap the weak.

Evan Yang wanted to see if this space could trap a Spirit-Wandering expert.

So Evan Yang took out several daggers, found a spot that looked vulnerable, and shouted, "Hah!"

With a loud shout, he stacked several-fold attacks, unleashing a powerful strike at a single point.

Boom! An explosion echoed, just like the last time a space exploded—Evan Yang was thrown out.

At that moment, Benson Blue was suspended in midair, his face covered in soot, as if he'd been caught in the blast.

"You—you!" Benson Blue, finally coming to his senses, stared at Evan Yang in shock.

"Are you from the Blue Clan?" Evan Yang had never seen this man before; he'd only heard about him from Janelle Jiang, so he asked out of curiosity.

"Kid, you don't know me, but I know you. You actually ruined my artifact! I'll kill you!" Benson Blue never expected his artifact would explode, and the culprit was right before him.

Benson Blue had been about to leave, but the sudden explosion left him covered in soot. Luckily, he wasn't seriously injured, so he managed to hover in midair, watching as Evan Yang emerged from the ring.

Then Benson Blue unleashed a powerful aura, intent on capturing Evan Yang. He thought he was strong, but the explosion had weakened him—he could only use early Spirit-Wandering Realm strength.
