I stared blankly at the sky. John Chou tossed out a sentence and then vanished. All I knew for now was that Rachel Yu and that little ghost girl had both been caught by the exorcist.
I started to get anxious.
"Ethan Zhang, worrying won't help. As long as their urns are here, they'll be safe."
I stared at Samantha Simons in a daze. Then she grabbed my hand, and I floated up, arriving beneath the apartment building. Suddenly, I blinked—something I'd never noticed before—there were now names on the doors.
On the door of 101, it said Rachel Yu; on 102, Su Xiaoxiao. I figured that must be the little ghost girl who drowned. And on 103, it said Sun Yu.
"Ethan Zhang, their urns are all in here. Normally, for ordinary ghosts, their spirits remain inside the urns."
I let out an 'oh' and nodded, but then a thought struck me—Samantha Simons had only just arrived here, so how did she know all this?
"Here's the thing, Ethan Zhang. I am, after all, a mid-level Blue Wraith. As soon as I entered John Chou's ghost domain, I immediately understood the general situation—at least, what John Chou allows me to know. This ghost domain is completely free, with no restrictions."
I looked at Samantha Simons, still not fully understanding.
"Even if it's probably fine, if too much time passes, problems might arise. Your two friends—one's a vengeful ghost, one's a shadow. That exorcist won't be able to get rid of them so easily. It'll take at least a few months."
