Fist Power Shatters the Air

Dark apartment complex area.

This abandoned commercial building sits at the base of the apartment complex by the lake—a prime spot. But the developer went bankrupt, and construction has been paused for half a year. Now, it's left in ruins.

Andrew Han crouched low, like a highly alert cat, and slowly approached.

"I remember... last year this place was bustling with construction. What a shame." He sighed inwardly, "Now, it's like a ghost town—so eerie it's almost frightening."

At this moment.

A cloud drifted slowly across the sky, blocking the gentle moonlight and making the dark ruins seem even deeper and more mysterious, amplifying the silence.

"Hiss!"

"Ghost town!"

In that instant, Andrew Han felt a chill run through his body, a flash of fear crossing his eyes.

His wandering thoughts reminded him... In this world, demons and supernatural beings truly exist! If he wasn't sure before, now Andrew Han was certain. He had personally witnessed those monsters invading his home.

Damn!

Could it really be those strange and terrifying things?

Andrew Han, still shaken, immediately stopped in his tracks, not daring to approach the dark, abandoned area any further.

If curiosity led to his death... it would be a pointless tragedy! He wasn't ready yet to face demons and supernatural beings. With his current Martial Arts Rank, confronting those terrifying things head-on would only mean one thing: certain death.

Thump.

Thump, thump.

Andrew Han could even feel his heart pounding violently. He retreated step by step, trying to leave the dark, abandoned area.

Having been reborn, he was even more cautious, cherishing his life.

He wanted to get into an Elite University. He also longed to reunite his family. Most of all, he wished to meet her again during his college years—to give her a perfect, flawless first love. He wanted her to be the girl adored by all, with no one daring to mock him and her ever again.

He retreated.

He slowly retreated.

Just then—Boom!!!

A blast echoed out, like gunpowder exploding in the abandoned building. The sound erupted from the depths of the darkness, thundering across heaven and earth!

"Hiss!"

Andrew Han was startled, sucking in a cold breath. He hurriedly ducked behind a nearby crumbling wall, peering through its broken gaps to observe the darkness within.

He knew one thing.

In this silent, shadowy place, with its eerie and mysterious atmosphere, anyone would be on edge. An ordinary person facing this would probably collapse on the spot, terrified and unable to move.

Andrew Han’s spirit was strong, and his confidence gave him just enough control to keep his body from giving out.

Even so, his heart raced wildly, pounding like a car speeding down a highway with no way to stop.

"What was that?"

Andrew Han squinted through a hole in the ruined wall, struggling to see.

In the darkness, he could just make out two flickering, blurry shapes. They shimmered and shifted, but the explosive sound from before didn’t come again... It was like a mirage!

But he understood.

Those two blurry figures were no illusion.

The blast just now had come from their collision. What else could explain such a strange scene?

Silence.

The cloud that had blocked the moonlight drifted away. The quiet lake behind him rippled with shimmering waves, deepening the stillness.

Not a single sound remained between heaven and earth.

Huff.

Huff, huff.
