Cecilia Gu suddenly felt sorry for that girl, but also relieved for her.
James Jing really isn’t her Mr. Right!
To be honest, Cecilia Gu wasn’t that invested in James Jing’s affairs.
After all, James Jing was just the illegitimate son of the King Family, and he didn’t have much connection with them.
Cecilia was picking a wife for him, but it was really for Leon King and Violet Wei.
People are selfish by nature.
After making sure Ethan Yin was set, Cecilia lost interest and just let James Jing do as he pleased.

When Violet Wei heard Ethan Yin pick her, she couldn’t hide the joy in her eyes—no matter how hard she tried.
Ethan Yin walked up to Violet Wei, got down on one knee, and held out a ring: “Miss Violet Wei, will you marry me?”
Violet Wei covered her mouth, tears in her eyes, nodding in disbelief. After a long moment, she finally said, "I do!"
The other contestants looked at Violet Wei with envy, then quickly turned their gaze to James Jing.
Now, all their hopes rested on him!
James Jing glanced at Cecilia Gu, seeing her watching him with a gentle smile, and felt a chill run through his heart for no reason.
He’d picked out a few... but choosing just one from them wasn’t easy.
If only all their strengths could be combined into one person.
But... he could choose one, and maybe keep the others as lovers...
James Jing made up his mind, pointed at Emily and said, "I choose her."
Emily's face lit up with surprise. "Thank you, thank you!" she cried.
Cecilia Gu nodded and said, "Congratulations to both of you. As your host, I have a few gifts for everyone as farewell presents. And as Chairwoman of Saint Diana Academy, my door is always open if you ever want to teach at our school."
Little B quickly brought over several gift bags and handed them out to the ladies one by one.
"Thank you, Mrs. Yin." The ones who weren't chosen felt a bit disappointed, but also relieved.
Living with your heart in your throat every day is exhausting.
Emily and Violet Wei stayed, while the others were sent home.
Cecilia Gu invited the two to sit down. "Congratulations, you’re officially part of our group now."
Emily was pretty calm, but Violet Wei was so excited she nearly fainted.
She was about to become sisters-in-law with the most admired, happiest woman in the world!
It felt like a giant pie had fallen from the sky and squished her into a puddle—she couldn’t believe any of this was real.
Ethan Yin and James Jing stood on either side, listening to Cecilia Gu’s speech.
Given Cecilia Gu’s current status, she was definitely qualified to give this speech.
"I don’t have much say in James Jing’s affairs. The King Family asked me to help, and I’m just fulfilling my duty. Your future together is up to you." Cecilia said to Emily and James Jing, "Since you’ve chosen each other, treat each other well. Mutual understanding and tolerance make for a happy marriage—and a happy family leads to a smooth life."
"Yes, Mrs. Yin. Thank you for your guidance," Emily and James Jing replied together.
Cecilia Gu smiled and nodded. "Mission accomplished. Let’s keep in touch."
After sending off James Jing and Emily, Cecilia Gu turned to Violet Wei and Ethan Yin. "Alright, now it’s just our family left."
"Thank you for choosing me, Mrs. Yin." Violet Wei was so overwhelmed she could barely speak coherently.
Cecilia Gu smiled warmly at her. "The choice was Ethan's to make; I only agreed. I left you two alone because I wanted to talk about our family matters."
Violet Wei and Ethan Yin nodded in unison.
"Ethan knows the ins and outs of our family, so I won't go into business affairs. I rarely meddle in Yin Enterprises matters, since I have my own career. As Chairwoman of Saint Diana Academy, I'm swamped with work, and Danni Cosmetics keeps me busy too. So today, let's just chat and share some personal thoughts." Cecilia continued.
"Violet, when you joined the open selection, how much did you know about the Yin Family?" Cecilia turned to Violet Wei.
Violet Wei quickly glanced at Ethan Yin and replied, "I got a general idea. Not much, really."
Cecilia looked at Ethan Yin and asked, "Should I explain, or will you?"
"I'll do it." Ethan Yin glanced at Cecilia. "It's better if I say it myself."
Cecilia nodded.
Ethan Yin said to Violet Wei, "Before you marry me, there are things you need to know first."
Violet Wei tensed up.
"You probably know I'm just a collateral member of the Yin Family. I work at Yin Enterprises headquarters, but I'm not part of the decision-making circle, and I never will be." Ethan Yin said, "In other words, I'll always be a carefree prince—Yin Family gives me enough money for a luxurious life and noble status for my family, but that's all. If you're someone who craves power, maybe we're not a good match."
"Also, the future matriarch of the Yin Family is Chief Mrs. Yin alone. You can be the lady of our household, but not the Yin Family's matriarch. If you can accept this, we can move forward together. Chief Mrs. Yin might not say this to you, but I have to let you know in advance." Ethan continued, "Yin Enterprises will go to Ethan and Chief Mrs. Yin's child. If we have kids, they'll inherit my assets, not Yin Enterprises. Think it over carefully, and let me know your decision."

Violet Wei hadn't expected Ethan Yin to tell her all this now.
Honestly, she'd already guessed most of it.
She wasn't stupid.
Right now, Yin Enterprises is firmly in Charles Yin's hands; no one can shake his position.
Three years ago, he centralized all authority, and Cecilia Gu owns a controlling share of Yin Family's stock. In other words, Yin Enterprises is under their control as a couple.
Ethan Yin being able to work at headquarters is already his limit.
