Appointing the Primary Tutor for the Daughter
It took two whole days to shoot these wedding photos!
There was no other way—too many people!
And too many locations!
We had scenes in the garden, by the sea, at the mansion, on the mountaintop, on the island in the lake, and so on.
If it weren’t for Cecilia Gu being pregnant and unable to get too tired, Charles Yin would have wanted to fly abroad for the shoot!
Seeing Cecilia Gu struggling with heavy outfits, Charles Yin felt his heart ache for her.
If need be, they’d just shoot more photos later. Right now, he absolutely couldn’t let his wife get exhausted!
So, all their locations were kept close by.
Rona Muir and Momo Mo didn’t care at all—they said it didn’t matter where they shot! As long as they were having fun, that’s what counted!
Exactly! The two of them just treated this as a fun outing!
After the last outfit was done, Cecilia Gu was so exhausted she almost coughed up blood.
People only see the beauty of wedding photos, but nobody thinks about how tiring it is to keep changing clothes and styles nonstop!
Especially with the whole styling team crowding around, adding accessories and fussing over everything—it's mentally exhausting!
Cecilia Gu took off her makeup, showered, and sprawled out on the bed, declaring she’d sleep for a whole day and night and didn’t want to be disturbed unless it was important.
And she really did sleep for a whole day and night.
When she finally woke up, it was already the sixth night since the ladies had moved into the villa.
Counting the days, tomorrow was the last day.
Oh no, there still seemed to be so many things left undone!
Cecilia Gu didn’t care that it was so late—she asked someone to invite Li Yuling over.
Li Yuling hadn’t expected Cecilia Gu to call for her at this hour. She sat nervously in front of Cecilia, unable to say a word.
Cecilia Gu was dressed in loungewear, her slightly rounded belly giving her a gentle, graceful charm.
"Young Madam, is there something you need from me?" Lily Lee looked at Cecilia with hopeful eyes. Could it be that Cecilia was moved by her words that day and planned to let her marry Ethan Yin?
Cecilia Gu looked at Lily Lee and asked, "I just have a few questions for you. Please answer honestly."
"Yes." Lily Lee replied properly.
"Tell me, are you really willing to be a puppet just for three meals and a stable life?" Cecilia asked.
"Yes." Lily Lee nodded, her determined gaze making Cecilia Gu admire her.
"Do you like Ethan Yin?" Cecilia pressed.
"No." Lily Lee answered bluntly, "He’s good-looking and comes from a good family, but I’ve never considered whether I actually like him or not."
"Alright, third question: Do you really want to marry into a wealthy family? Do you truly like that kind of life?" Cecilia continued.
"No." Lily Lee lowered her eyes.
There are many things in life that liking or not liking just can’t solve.
"What’s your biggest wish?" Cecilia asked.
"To cure my sister. At the very least, I want her to be able to take care of herself. If that’s not possible, I just want her to pass away peacefully." Lily Lee answered calmly.
Children with cerebral palsy rarely live long.
Lily Lee had accepted this fact long ago.
She just wanted to do her best, and leave the rest to fate.
Cecilia Gu nodded, satisfied.
This Lily Lee really was impressive.
"If I say I can meet all those conditions, but I need you to do something else—not marry Ethan Yin, not marry into a wealthy family—would you agree?" Cecilia smiled at Lily Lee.
Lily Lee was stunned: "Young Madam, I don't understand what you mean."
