God-Sealing Grand Array

"The God-Sealing Grand Array? That's the deadliest execution formation there is! Inside, it's packed with lethal death-light beams and poisons, and it blocks all communication." Quentin frowned.

Sean nodded.

"I'm going!" Ryan Lu rolled up his sleeves. "I'm going to save her!"

"Sit down!" Sean shot him a look, full of disdain.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Ryan shouted at him. "I know! If it weren't for me, she wouldn't have ended up in their hands! But I'm not just being dramatic! I really... have nightmares every night! And I dream about that person... I think it was Xianyu..."

As he spoke, he was nearly in tears.

Luna Lian frowned at him, then suddenly said, "Master, I think... maybe we should get a Sigil Master to check him out?"

Lucia Lu's heart stirred, and she nodded.

"Good timing—the Sigil Master who came to treat him hasn't left yet," Luna Lian said.

Earlier, when Ryan Lu suddenly fainted, it was Quentin Lian who brought in the Sigil Master to pull out a deadly talisman.

That Rune Master was from the Southern Realm.

They called her over to see if she could help Ryan Lu with his nightmares.

She asked detailed questions and said, "If you're sure he's not sick, then it might be demonic qi entering his body, triggering a latent prophecy ability."

"Prophecy?" Ryan Lu's eyes widened.

The Rune Master nodded. "I have a manual here. You can try it. If you're truly a Seer, practicing this will help you awaken your power."

Ryan Lu accepted it with trembling hands.

"If it's really a prophecy, then Xianyu is probably going to die in their hands..." Luna Lian said. "We have to get her out."

"I actually know how to break the God-Sealing Grand Array," Quentin Lian said. "You need four people to destroy the four array nodes inside."

"Thank you for your guidance, Divine Lord." Lucia Lu bowed deeply. "Please tell us how to break the array—my father, brothers, and I will go in at once!"

Quentin Lian frowned, but Sean said, "Wait a second. Even if I can't get into the God-Sealing Grand Array, I have something that can slip through. Let's wait a bit—maybe it can rescue her."

...

He was talking about the Fish.

The Fish didn't return to the Flower Egg until the second day.

Sean asked it, "Why did it take you so long to get back?"

"Her cell is really special," the Fish said. "It was originally built to imprison demonic spirits, and it can block spatial jumps. I spent a whole day and night boring through before I managed to make a tiny hole! And you still complain about me!"

Sean's heart sank. "I'm not blaming you, just anxious. Did you see her?"

"I peeked through the hole," the Fish said. "She's definitely inside, covered in wounds."

"Why didn’t you bring her out?"

The Fish said, "I discovered her cell is actually the core node of the God-Sealing Grand Array! If I go in, I'll trigger the death-light! And the death-light is faster than any spell I can cast. In other words, if I dart inside, I'll be a roast fish! And she'll be a roasted qilin."

"Is there any way to break it?"

The Fish said, "If you destroy the other three array nodes first, the death-light will slow down, and then I can snatch her out."

Sean's eyes lit up. "That could work!"

"But the people who go in won’t be able to get out," the Fish added.

Sean: "What?"

The Fish said, "Once I take her out, the God-Sealing Grand Array will fully activate. There’s no spiritual power inside, and the ones who broke the array can’t teleport out. They’ll all die in there."
