The City Mistress’s Harem of Male Concubines
If you were to describe a fancy house in modern times, the go-to word would be 'villa.' Like, so-and-so lives in a luxury villa in so-and-so neighborhood.
That's what you call a status symbol, that's what you call being loaded.
But when Ivy Shen stepped into Li Manor, she honestly had no idea what words could possibly describe this level of luxury. Fake mountains, pavilions, little bridges, even artificial waterfalls—this place isn’t just a city mistress’s home, it’s way more extra than any prince’s palace!
Just looking from the outside, you could tell this place was something special, but stepping in? Turns out the outside was just the tip of the iceberg—the inside is so huge it’s basically impossible to describe. Ivy couldn’t help but wonder: who exactly is this Yvonne Li, and how does she own a mansion this massive?!
With Yvonne Li leading the way, they walked for ages. The place was so grand and elegant, it was hard to connect it with someone like Yvonne Li—in their group, she was basically the definition of ‘tacky,’ but here, it’s like a slice of paradise. Could she really have such refined taste?!
Does she even know how to appreciate this stuff?!
“City Mistress Li, where are you taking us?” After walking for ages and passing a bunch of courtyards without stopping, Ivy couldn’t help but ask.
“Don’t call me that, just call me Yinyin! I’m taking you to the main hall—these are just the entrance halls. Lanny, go tell the kitchen to prep some good wine and food. I’m in a great mood today, we’re celebrating big!” Yvonne Li giggled.
“Don’t worry, Master, Lanny will do a great job!” The blue-robed man looked super pleased with himself, strutting around like everyone should know he’s the favorite.
“Master, which concubines do you want to accompany you at tonight’s banquet?” The pink-robed man sidled up to her with a fawning smile.
“Pick twenty of the most talented ones. I met my soulmate today—I want them to keep her company!” Yvonne Li announced cheerfully.
Everyone froze for a second. Twenty? Just how many men does she actually have?!
“Oh, stop it! Don’t get all crazy now!” Suddenly, a wave of giggling and teasing voices drifted from afar. The outsiders all frowned, totally baffled—because those flirty voices were unmistakably male!
“What’s up?” Seeing Ivy freeze mid-step, Yvonne Li stopped too and asked.
“Over there?” Ivy pointed to the wall separating them from all that laughter—it sounded like a full-blown party on the other side.
Yvonne Li just grinned, waved Ivy over, and took the lead. She walked straight to a wall, then did this weird little dance—three steps left, one step back, another step and a half forward—and tapped a spot on the wall. Boom! A stone door swung open out of nowhere. The whole group just stared, dumbfounded.
Ivy frowned hard. That trick looked simple, but her expert eye could spot zero flaws—no gaps, no clues, nothing. And this chubby woman just waltzed up and made a door appear like magic. Clearly, Li Manor was packed with secret traps!
All the laughter inside went silent as the stone door opened. A second later, Yvonne Li strode in, and the room exploded in cheers: “Master! Master!”
“Come on!” Lanny urged, seeing the group hesitate.
At his words, Ivy boldly strode in—and the rest of her crew scrambled to follow.
“Whoa!” Everyone gasped in unison.
Inside was a gigantic natural hot spring—so huge it looked like a lake. But what really made them gasp wasn’t the pool—it was all the male concubines lounging in and around it, and even reading books on the side.
Everywhere you looked—pool, shore, grassy banks—there were men, all wearing nothing but white towels around their waists, striking every seductive pose imaginable. A quick headcount said at least fifty guys.
“Don’t look!” Lucian Vane, instantly jealous, stepped in front of Ivy and grumbled in her ear.
“Master! Master!” All kinds of men rushed to greet Yvonne Li, smiles bright and overflowing with joy.
Ivy just smiled. “Relax, I don’t go for ladyboys.” Some of these men were actually pretty handsome, but Yvonne Li had trained them all into simpering, makeup-caked caricatures—honestly, it was kinda gross. Heavy taste meets heavy taste: was this a case of pervert meets pervert?
“Hey, where’s the Autumn–Winter Palace crew?” Yvonne Li glanced around, curious.
A soft, boneless beauty clung to Yvonne Li’s arm and swayed, explaining in a syrupy voice, “Master, it’s Spring–Summer Palace’s bath time today. Autumn–Winter had their fun yesterday.”
“Spring–Summer, Autumn–Winter Palaces? So this is only half the concubines?” Ivy blurted out, brow furrowed.
“Of course! This is just half—Li Manor has over a hundred and twenty male concubines,” Lanny boasted.
“What? Over a hundred and twenty?!” The whole group yelled. Then, without meaning to, they all glanced at Yvonne Li. How does one woman even handle that many guys?!
“Hey, where are you guys looking?” Ivy snapped, catching Lucian, Butterfly, and Caleb eyeing her suspiciously.
“N-nothing!” The three quickly looked away, secretly in awe of Yvonne Li’s stamina.
“Miss Shen, you’re the biggest soulmate I’ve ever met! Look, if you like any of my concubines, just pick whoever you want—they’ll serve you tonight,” Yvonne Li said, her laugh positively wicked.
Ivy smiled politely. “Thanks, Yinyin, but no need. These men behind me? They’re my own concubines, more than enough to keep me satisfied.” With women like Yvonne Li, Ivy knew exactly how to answer to get close.
Yvonne Li swept her gaze over Ivy’s masked men and smirked. “Can’t see their faces, but you can tell from their eyes—they’re all extraordinary. You really do share my tastes!” She burst out laughing, thrilled to have found a kindred spirit.
“Right back at you!”
“But Miss Shen, don’t be shy! I’ve got loads of concubines. Are yours really enough to serve you? I mean, I need at least a dozen men every night!” Yvonne Li said, raising her eyebrows in pride.
Ivy gave a thumbs-up, totally impressed. “Yinyin, you’re amazing!”
“Haha, alright, let’s head to the main hall and eat!” Yvonne Li announced. “You guys better clean up—tonight, I’ll send a few over to serve in bed!”
“Woohoo!” The men cheered, like they’d just been handed energy drinks.
So the whole crew followed Yvonne Li on a winding trek—felt like eighteen twists and turns—before finally reaching the main hall.
By the time they arrived, the place was already set up with snacks and tea. Even the desserts were gorgeously decorated—clearly, the chefs here were artists.
“Master, the meal’s ready—just say the word and we’ll serve!” A male servant approached as Ivy and her group sat down, bowing respectfully.
Ivy sized him up. Good-looking, and the way he carried himself—no way he was just a regular servant.
Lanny caught her look and explained smugly, “He used to be a concubine, but messed up, so now he’s a servant.”
“Yup! If anyone here messes up, they get demoted to servant. Oh no, Pinkie’s scared!” The pink-robed man rushed to Yvonne Li, clutching his handkerchief and pretending to cry.
“Haha, my Pinkie’s way too cute—I’d never let you be a servant,” Yvonne Li soothed, making him stop crying.
With Yvonne Li’s enthusiastic lead, Ivy dove right into the banter. She even sang a bunch of songs—normal ones this time—but every single tune left Yvonne and her harem stunned by her musical genius.
The banquet was gorgeous, but the men in Ivy’s group barely ate. Watching all those heavily made-up ladyboys dance around was just... gross. As men, they honestly felt ashamed for their entire gender.
After a while—
“Miss Shen, I’ve arranged loads of rooms for you all tonight. If you want a giant bed, we’ve got one that fits over twenty people!” Yvonne Li said, swaying a little—clearly tipsy.
“No need to be so polite. Here’s the plan.” Ivy pointed to Adrian Night, Lucian Vane, Caleb Miles, Butterfly Rogue, Liam Willow, and Eli Crane: “You six, two to a room.” Then she looked at Nina Xu and Colin Kerr. “You two, one room each.”
Finally, Ivy pointed at Ethan Chu, who’d been silent all evening. “You—tonight, you’re sleeping with me.”
