Su Family Birthday Banquet and Dinner at the Chen House

Lynn Chen and Wendy Wen walked off, each lost in her own thoughts.

Evan Lin headed back to class, and when school let out, he walked out the gate to find Sam "Second Brother" Su waiting there.

Grizzly stood next to Sam, posture ramrod straight like a signpost. His presence made passersby instinctively take a detour.

"Master Lin, you’re finally back! Remember what I mentioned before—my old man’s big birthday is coming up. I really hope you’ll come with me and check it out."

Sam Su nervously rubbed his hands. He had no clue what Evan Lin had been doing these past few days. Since Evan had asked about the Moore family’s location earlier, Sam figured he might’ve gone there.

But lately, word had spread about the Moore Family Arena Tournament—people were saying Master Lin of Seacrest had caused a stir, not only snapping two Misty Rain Swords from the Southriver Sword Sect, but also crushing Drake Yu in dominant fashion!

That kind of show was truly jaw-dropping. Because of it, Sam Su dropped the idea that Evan had just gone to the Moore family to join the fun.

With Master Lin of Seacrest in the mix, no matter how strong Evan Lin was, it was unlikely he’d go looking for trouble for no reason.
