After Evan Chu put everyone at ease with his calm demeanor, he asked about the disciples' cultivation progress. The results made him very satisfied: more than half had broken through one or two realms, a huge leap forward.
He wanted to tease Lynn Chu and Dylan Chu, but those two little ones simply ignored Evan Chu, leaving him helpless. His own children were so distant from their father—maybe because they hadn't spent much time together.
"Evan, when are you going back to the Heavenly Dragon Empire? We've been away for more than two years now, and I'm worried about my father’s health. When will we return to visit him?" Skylar Yule asked Evan Chu at this moment.
"Actually, I want to go back too. Let’s wait until we’ve wiped out the Four Great Sects, then we’ll return. When the time comes, I’ll have Luna Chu marry you so you two can have a child early—otherwise Luna will just be jealous of my kids," Evan Chu joked.
"Evan, you’re asking for trouble! I have a hundred ways to make you wish you were dead—want to try me?" Luna Chu snapped angrily.
"Never mind then. Big brother, let’s just go back ourselves this time. If she doesn’t want to marry you, why force her? I’ll have Sister Ping find you a beauty at Heavenly Fragrance Pavilion to take home—she’ll be a hundred times better than this wild dragon girl," Evan Chu laughed.
Skylar Yule glanced at Evan Chu and said, "Second brother, you’re not serious, are you? I’m not prepared for this at all."
"Evan Chu, how dare you encourage Skylar to find someone new! I won’t let you off today!" Luna Chu burst out in anger, raising her hand to chop at Evan Chu.
Everyone was startled—would Luna Chu get hurt by Evan Chu’s freakish defenses? If that happened, it would be truly tragic.
Of course, Evan Chu knew his own defenses were monstrous and Luna Chu could easily get hurt. As she attacked, he instantly grabbed her hand and said, "Luna, I think you’re the one itching for trouble. Believe it or not, I’ll take big brother straight to Azure Tide Ruins and leave you here for life!"
Evan Chu made an exaggeratedly nasty face, but Luna Chu suddenly burst into tears. She broke free from Evan’s hand and ran out of the grand hall, pausing at the doorway to turn and shout, "Evan, I hate you! When we get back, I’m definitely telling Uncle Victor so you’ll know what happens when you bully me!"
She actually brought up Victor Chu, leaving Evan speechless. He could only smile wryly and mutter, "This girl can’t even take a joke. Big brother, get ready—once I wipe out the Four Sects, I’ll take you all away."
Actually, even if Skylar Yule hadn’t mentioned it, Evan Chu planned to take everyone home this time. Ryan Ouyang, with his White Tiger Bloodline, was still missing, and no one knew how strong he’d become.
And according to Qing Shuang’s memories, the entrance to the Phoenix Temple isn’t in the Azure Tide Ruins at all—it’s in the Heavenly Dragon Empire. He still needed to find Roxanne Lin, but he hadn’t discovered anyone with the Obsidian Tortoise Bloodline yet, which made him anxious.
Most importantly, he’d promised Lily Tang and Rhea Yang that he’d marry them within three years—and now, by his count, the deadline was almost up. With all these reasons, he had no choice but to go.
The whole episode between Evan Chu and Luna Chu ended in a bit of a farce. Evan soon returned to his own room, wondering how the women would treat him this time.
Not long after Evan Chu entered his room, the other women followed him in. Meanwhile, Alex Xiao the Violet Thunder Fox and Shadow went back to their own rooms.
Evan Chu acted as if he didn’t notice the women entering, directly taking out a Star Crystal and pretending to absorb it. In reality, his Chaos Dragon Force was already saturated—he was just putting on a show to see how the women would react.
Of course, the women immediately saw through Evan Chu’s act. The Stellar Power inside the Stellar Cultivation Chamber was so intense—if he’d already finished his closed-door training, there was no need to absorb more. It was obvious he was just pretending.
"Evan, if you don’t want us here, we’ll just leave. Don’t regret it later," Selena Yale was the first to speak.
Evan Chu looked up at the group of women and said with a grin, "So, everyone’s here. I wonder what you all have planned for tonight. Serving your husband is your responsibility, and tonight, no one’s allowed to leave. If anyone tries, you’ll have to face the house rules!"
"House rules? When did we ever make any house rules? Evan, what are you even talking about?" Dream Princess asked immediately, her confusion echoed by the rest of the group.
"I just made them up recently. Want to hear the details? I am the sect master, after all—got to have some authority, right? Now that you’re all married into Frostbane Sect, you have to listen to me." Evan said, feigning seriousness.
"Well, let’s hear your so-called house rules. If they’re reasonable, maybe we’ll accept them," Lynne Nie chimed in.
Evan was secretly laughing inside, but didn’t let it show. "There are three rules. First: you have to obey whatever I say. Second: you have to obey whatever I say. Third: you absolutely have to obey whatever I say, no exceptions."
The women stared at him, stunned—this was just cheating! "So what’s the punishment if we break your so-called rules?" Selena Yale teased.
"The punishment is super harsh—you’ll have to stick with me for three days straight, not allowed to leave my side for a second," Evan replied, grinning.
"Pfft! That’s your idea of a rule? Evan, can’t you be serious for once? You’re a dad now, you know. When are you ever going to grow up?" Selena Yale shot back, rolling her eyes.
"Alright, everyone just stay tonight. We haven’t all sat down and really talked in ages. There’ll be plenty of chances to share a bed, so don’t worry—I won’t do anything to you," Evan said warmly.
That night, Evan spent time chatting with the five women in his room. Nothing happened; late into the night, Dream Princess and Selena Yale left to take care of their children, while Lynne Nie, Qing Rumeng, and Ouyang Qian stayed behind.
Everyone expected Evan to make a move, but he didn’t do anything at all. He acted like a perfect gentleman, leaving the women totally puzzled.
At dawn the next day, Evan left early. Over a thousand sect members had already gathered at the training field. Today, he was leading them to wipe out the Four Sects, and everyone’s spirits were running high.
Shadow had arrived at the training field early too. When Evan showed up, she walked right over. "Is everyone ready? Today is the day Frostbane Sect washes away our humiliation! We’ll make the Four Sects pay dearly!"
"Long live the Sect Master! Long live the Sect Master!" the sect disciples shouted at the top of their lungs.
"Let’s move out!" Evan commanded. Right then, Shadow’s body grew huge, and Evan hopped onto her back. The crowd soared into the sky, flying toward the Four Sects’ territory…
