"Good! Refreshing. Today, I, Frank Qi, have finally witnessed what it means to be a young hero." Frank Qi gave a thumbs up, his tone exaggerated.

In contrast, Joe Di's voice remained calm. "No, you haven't seen it yet. You'll see it in a moment."

"Then I, Frank Qi, will wait and see." With that, Frank Qi flicked the dice cup in his hand, and the three dice seemed to be drawn in by some invisible force, rolling into the cup.

The sound of the dice inside the cup was sometimes crisp, sometimes muffled as if striking cotton.

Several minutes passed before the dice cup landed on the table with a sharp snap.

"My friend, you may place your bet now." Frank Qi smiled slightly and gestured to Joe Di.

Earlier, when Frank Qi was shaking the dice, the sounds had been a blur to Joe Di. But now, Joe Di could clearly sense the numbers—246. His spiritual sense, just as before, seemed to have eyes, allowing Joe Di to see the dice showing 246.

It seemed Joe Di hadn't sensed wrong before; this wasn't just a spiritual impression. Joe Di could truly see the numbers on the three dice inside the cup about a meter in front of him.

Joe Di drew in a sharp breath. The cup was black, and Joe Di's eyes shouldn't have been able to penetrate it. Yet Joe Di could see the appearance and numbers of all three dice.

Then Joe Di shifted his spiritual sense, and to his delight, Joe Di could clearly see the tense expressions on the faces of the spectators behind him.

Joe Di's spiritual sense could actually be used like his eyes—this was definitely a new technique developed during his cultivation of the Grandwalk Codex. It was like casting a fireball or wind blade. With this kind of spiritual power, Joe Di's fireball and wind blade techniques would become even more precise and powerful.

Joe Di took a deep breath. Even if Joe Di lost all his money, the joy of this discovery was beyond imagination.

"My friend, you look confident. Please place your bet. But if you keep betting fifty billion each time, you'll need to play fifty rounds." Frank Qi remained calm.

Joe Di guided a strand of true essence into the dice cup. When Joe Di's true essence touched the dice, he realized, just as he had suspected, that with his newly developed spiritual sense, it was easy to move the dice and flip them over.

Joe Di didn't move the dice inside. Before developing his spiritual sense, Joe Di had planned to forcibly flip the dice after Frank Qi did, using his true essence. Now, with his spiritual sense able to clearly see the numbers and his true essence able to flip the dice at will, Joe Di naturally wouldn't use such a crude method.

Joe Di laughed heartily. "You're right, doing this round by round would take too long. I'll bet it all at once."

With that, Joe Di pushed all his chips onto 666. "I'm betting on triple sixes."

Everyone gasped. This was probably the largest wager they'd ever witnessed. A fifty billion bet—never before seen in the history of the Celestial Casino. And if Joe Di won, the payout would be even more staggering. Betting on a specific triple meant fifty times the payout.

Two hundred and fifty billion—even the Celestial Casino might not be able to pay that out.

Frank Qi was stunned as well. He hadn't expected Joe Di to bet fifty billion on triple sixes. Even Frank Qi had never seen such a wager before. Frank Qi had bet fifty billion before, but never on a specific triple.

If Joe Di didn’t know for sure that Joe Di had rolled 246, Joe Di might have felt nervous himself.

"Alright! Let me reveal the dice." Frank Qi had already regained his composure—after all, it was a guaranteed win. Frank Qi wondered where this fool had come from.

"Wait." Joe Di stopped Frank Qi’s hand.

Under the puzzled gazes of everyone, Joe Di said calmly, "If I win, does the Celestial Casino have the ability to pay me two hundred and fifty billion Union Credits?"

No one found Joe Di’s question strange. With Joe Di's bet, if Joe Di lost, it was over. But if Joe Di won, the Celestial Casino might really not be able to pay such an amount.

"Hahaha... Truly, heroes are born young. Someone actually doubts whether my Celestial Casino can pay out! I, Jackson Qian, guarantee with my own reputation: as long as you can afford to bet, my casino can afford to pay."

A thin, elderly man with a prominent forehead strode over, holding a long smoking pipe. The pipe was still packed with tobacco, and the surrounding darkness showed he’d smoked for years.

Joe Di’s spiritual sense saw clearly that inside the old man’s pipe was a hidden mechanism. With its dense gears and rows of black steel needles, Joe Di instantly knew this old fellow was another schemer.

"How much is your reputation worth?" Joe Di retorted without hesitation. "Put the money in front of me so I can see it—that’s a real guarantee."

Jackson Qian’s face immediately darkened. "Are you here to cause trouble? I said we can pay, and we will. Do you expect me to pile up two hundred and fifty billion in cash right here?"

On Celestia VII, the Celestial Casino’s daily income over the past few days ranged from several hundred million to over a billion. For Jackson Qian, he absolutely couldn’t allow anyone to cause trouble.

Joe Di took out a card and said, "This is my bank card, there's about one or two billion in spare change on it. You transfer the money onto this card, then place it on the table. If I lose, you take the card and transfer the money out—the change is yours too. If I win, the card belongs to me."

"I'd like to do that, but unfortunately, your bank card can only receive funds—it can't transfer them out," Jackson Qian replied calmly.

Without waiting for Joe Di’s answer, Jackson Qian turned to a woman beside him. "Minnie, go get a blank Starlight Bank card. We'll transfer two hundred and fifty billion Union Credits onto it. If our friend wins, he can do as he pleases with the card. Everyone knows that my Celestial Casino never drags its feet in business."

The latter half of the sentence was directed at Joe Di.

Joe Di realized that transferring the money to his card wouldn’t be a problem for Joe Di, but it would be a big problem for the Celestial Casino. The Celestial Casino never intended to lose this money. If it went to Joe Di’s card, they really wouldn’t get it back. Clearly, they weren’t interested in using his kind of card.

"I agree." Joe Di nodded. After all, Joe Di didn’t have a Starlight Bank card.

Seeing Jackson Qian was really going to transfer the money, Minnie, though shocked, quickly turned to get the card and computer.

In fact, Joe Di’s suspicion was correct—the Celestial Casino really couldn’t produce two hundred and fifty billion in cash. Jackson Qian could only provide the money because several parties had pooled their funds for the Celestia Auction. Jackson Qian was merely a courier, entrusted with the money to bring back designated items from the auction.

Because the money didn’t belong solely to the Celestial Casino, Minnie couldn’t quite believe Jackson Qian’s promise.

Minnie was quick—less than a minute later, Minnie returned with a compact computer and a Starlight Bank card.

Under the watchful eyes of Joe Di and the crowd, Joe Di saw Minnie transfer two hundred and fifty billion Union Credits onto the Starlight Bank card.

The bank card was placed in the center of the table. Only then did Jackson Qian look at Joe Di and say, "Are you satisfied now?"

Joe Di smiled slightly. "Not quite. Miss Minnie, could you do one more thing? Transfer the two hundred and fifty billion Union Credits to my card, but don’t hit confirm on the last step. If I lose, you can cancel it. If I win, just hit confirm. How about it?"

Joe Di saw clearly that the transfer required a temporary password, provided by Jackson Qian. But at the last step, there was a confirmation button.

Two hundred and fifty billion Union Credits was no small sum. If Jackson Qian refused to cooperate, even if Joe Di won, Joe Di would get nothing.

A flash of anger and sarcasm appeared on Jackson Qian’s face before Jackson Qian turned to Minnie and said, "Do as he says."

"Yes!" Minnie really followed Joe Di’s instructions and completed all the steps.

The people around just shook their heads. They wondered where this young man had come from. If the Celestial Casino didn’t want to pay, even if the money was transferred to Joe Di's card, could Joe Di really take it?

"Can we reveal the dice now? Or do you want someone else to do it?" Jackson Qian’s tone was a bit disdainful.

Joe Di laughed heartily. "Go ahead, reveal it. Since I’m betting against this guy, he should be the one to do it."
