As the lights around the ring flickered back on, everyone finally saw the scene on the stage—three grassland wolves' heads had been smashed open like watermelons, with bright red blood and brain matter splattered everywhere. Shawn Young stood there casually, wiping the blood off the Tiger Fang Blade on one of the wolves' corpses. As the lights came up, he raised the blade and sneered at Damian Shen below the ring. "Boss Shen, your Tiger Fang Blade isn't bad! With this, the last round of your Eaststar Triple Kill Gauntlet was a piece of cake! Heh!"
Damian Shen was left speechless by Shawn’s words, feeling utterly humiliated. He had pinned high hopes on those three wolves, but Shawn wiped them out in no time—completely beyond Damian’s expectations.
But Shawn kept talking on the stage: "Hey, Boss Shen, the whole underworld says Eaststar Triad is packed with talent and has insane fighting power. But looking at you now, it seems like you just hired a bunch of outsiders! Even the grassland wolves were shipped in from elsewhere—Hong Kong doesn’t have these animals! What a letdown! Don’t tell me the Eaststar boys don’t have any of their own heavy hitters?!"
Damian Shen was so furious his face turned purple, but Shawn was just stating the facts. All he could do was scowl and say, "Kid! Don’t get cocky! Soon you’ll see if Eaststar is truly empty-handed! Hmph!"
Shawn just grinned and stopped wasting words, saying directly, "Alright, Boss Shen, you’ve finished your Eaststar Triple Kill Gauntlet. As the big boss, you keep your word—now, you should release my people!"
Damian Shen shot him a gloomy look, then waved his hand and ordered his men, "Of course! Release them!"
At Damian Shen’s command, several Eaststar Triad thugs dragged out Oxhead, who was tied up like a dumpling, blindfolded, and gagged, from a room and dumped him in front of May Gu. Shawn flicked his wrist, and the blade flashed—he sliced through the ropes binding Oxhead in an instant. Oxhead, excited, tried to rip the gag out of his mouth, but Damian Shen warned him, "Oxhead, don’t move yet! Unless you want to get blown up, wait for me!"
With that, Damian Shen pulled out a remote, switched off the detonation button, then smashed the remote on the ground. As it shattered, he said to Oxhead, "Alright, you’re safe now!"
May Gu hurried over to help the battered Oxhead, ripping the tape off his mouth and pulling off the blindfold. Oxhead shook off the ropes, dug the tiny plastic bomb out of his mouth, tossed it to the floor, and stomped it to pieces. Then, teary-eyed and ashamed, he grabbed May Gu’s hand and choked out, "Sis, I—I’m useless. I got the call and was about to help Enchantress, but Damian Shen’s men ambushed me! Damn it, those Eaststar punks went way too far. I, Charles Gu, got wrecked by them! Not only did they beat me up, they almost turned me into a eunuch! Sis, I’m begging you, you have to help me get revenge! Damn it, I got humiliated! If I don’t get payback, I won’t have the face to see the boss again!"
