Empress Myra’s Ultimate Killing Move

2/27/2026

The outer shells of these composite monsters are just too tough. Even the bugs Evan Yang sent out can't break through their defenses, so now it's up to Evan himself.

Evan Yang pulled out the Limitless Spear and smiled, "Then I'll handle it myself."

With that, Evan Yang controlled the Limitless Spear and stabbed it straight into one of the monsters. Then he channeled a surge of powerful lightning through his hand—his first fully unsealed attribute, so its force was immense.

Instantly, the monster convulsed and rolled around in midair.

Empress Myra exclaimed in shock, "What did you do to it?"

"Obviously this," Evan Yang chuckled, then injected lightning into another one, and the remaining two weren't spared either. All four monsters collapsed on the ground, twitching violently.

Empress Myra was stunned. These monster bodies had taken her ages to research and were supposed to be incredibly tough—able to survive even in spatial cracks. Yet Evan Yang took them down in an instant.

"Your composite monsters are certainly sturdy, but I have my own methods," Evan Yang said with a smile.

Empress Myra, furious, shouted, "Let me show you my true power—Blood-Worm Soul Devour!"

Suddenly, a barrier appeared around them. Inside, everything turned blood-red, and countless tiny bugs emerged. Even though they hadn't come close to Evan Yang yet, their presence alone made souls tremble.

"What is this?" Evan Yang exclaimed in shock.

"This is my proudest pet—capable of devouring souls. Today, you're dead for sure. I'll make your soul die with no burial place," Empress Myra shouted.

Evan Yang replied skeptically, "Oh really? Let's see if your bugs are stronger, or my sword is."

Evan Yang had already drawn the Soul-Devouring Divine Sword. He knew this sword could protect his soul—and destroy others. With the Soul-Devouring Divine Sword guarding him, the bugs' soul-devouring power had no effect on him.

Seeing Evan Yang standing there completely unharmed, Empress Myra frowned. When she took a closer look at his sword, she was shocked. "Kid, you really keep surprising me."

"What, you recognize it too?" Evan Yang smiled.

"Of course. That's the famous Soul-Devouring Divine Sword from the Chaos World. I'd only heard of it before, but now it seems this really is that sword. I don't understand, though—such a legendary sword was destroyed and forcibly sealed back then. How did it end up in your hands?" Empress Myra explained its origins one by one.

Hearing about the seal, Evan Yang grew curious. How did Empress Myra know so much? He asked skeptically, "Empress, you sure know a lot of things."

"Obviously. Do you even know what my identity is?" Empress Myra sneered.

"What identity?" Evan Yang asked.

"That's a secret. Kid, today I'm taking both your sword and the Ancestor of Ten Thousand Insects," said Empress Myra.

"Ancestor of Ten Thousand Insects?" Evan Yang hadn't expected her to know he possessed it.

"Don't try to deny it. All your bugs were created by the Ancestor of Ten Thousand Insects. If you hadn't masked your aura, I would have discovered it much earlier," Empress Myra said.

"Empress, I'm getting more and more curious about your identity," Evan Yang said, guarding himself with the Soul-Devouring Divine Sword.

Empress Myra looked at Evan Yang and smiled. "Is that so? I'm also curious about your identity, with all those treasures you carry."

"Then come on. I want to see just how impressive this Blood-Worm Soul Devour really is," Evan Yang said with a smile.

Seeing the Soul-Devouring Divine Sword, Empress Myra knew Evan Yang would be tough to handle. She spread her hands, forcing out many tiny bugs from within her body.

Evan Yang frowned. How could Empress Myra keep all those bugs inside her body? It was too bizarre. After those bugs joined the swarm, they fused with the Blood-Worm Soul Devour, forming new insects that launched a fierce assault at him.

Evan Yang wrapped himself in a layer of Sacred Flame to keep the bugs at bay, but they weren't afraid of fire. He tried Ice-fire, but that didn't work either. Finally, he resorted to lightning, which had some effect and kept them from getting close.

Seeing Evan Yang wield so many attributes, Empress Myra frowned and said, "Just how many elements do you control?"

"That's a secret," Evan Yang replied.

"Hmph, let's see how many secrets you have. Kid, your strength isn't bad, but I wonder how long you can last. I'll just wear you down until you die," Empress Myra snorted. Then her bugs split in two, then split again, and soon the whole area was swarming with insects.

Those bugs charged at Evan Yang in endless waves.

Evan Yang realized that if this kept up, his energy consumption would increase rapidly, while Empress Myra would recover in the meantime and then launch a fresh attack against him.

Facing this situation, Evan Yang released a swarm of his own bugs, triggering an all-out insect war.

Seeing Evan Yang unleash his bugs, Empress Myra laughed, "You think you have more than me? My bugs can keep splitting in two!"

"Oh really? Mine can resurrect," Evan Yang said with a sly smile.

Soon, a batch of dead bugs revived and kept fighting, as if the counterattack would never end.

Empress Myra frowned in shock. "What kind of ability is that?"

"You can thank your green bug for that—it has the power to die and come back. I fused it with the Ancestor of Ten Thousand Insects, and it seems to work pretty well. If you want to compete in bug power, I'll go all the way. Let's see who dies first," Evan Yang laughed.

His bugs could die and revive, so he felt no pressure. Empress Myra's bugs kept dividing endlessly, but eventually they'd all perish, putting her at a disadvantage.

Empress Myra realized this and snorted coldly, "I didn't expect you'd fuse that thing with the Ancestor of Ten Thousand Insects."

"With the power to die and revive, I think fusing with anything works well. You just didn't expect it, Empress," Evan Yang laughed.

It wasn't that Empress Myra hadn't thought of it—she was wary of the side effects from this mutated bug, since it came from somewhere else and wasn't a normal insect. People called it a monster body.

Before fully researching it, Empress Myra never planned to fuse it, but Evan Yang beat her to it, making her furious.

Seeing Empress Myra's angry face, Evan Yang laughed, "What's wrong, Empress? Got any more tricks? Or should I wipe out your bugs first, then deal with you?"

Empress Myra heard Evan Yang's words and saw he had both the divine sword and bugs fighting back. She'd used all her tricks, so her only option was to retreat and fetch something before continuing the battle.

"If you've got guts, wait right here. I'm going to fetch something, then we'll settle this once and for all," Empress Myra declared suddenly.

"If you want to fight, do it now. I don't have time to wait around," he replied with a laugh.

"You..." Empress Myra was furious, not expecting that answer. Still, she'd already set traps within the barrier, and left in anger.

Watching her leave, he sighed, "She actually ran off."

He quickly finished off the blood worms, then cut open the barrier with a single stroke of the Soul-Devouring Divine Sword and left. After some time, he found a bustling city and finally released the two women from his treasure.

At that moment, Melody Wood and Lynn Lin both looked at him strangely.

"What's with you two?" he asked, eyeing them suspiciously.

"Hey, just how many women do you keep?" Lynn Lin suddenly demanded.

"How many women do I keep?" he echoed, confused.

"She means, why are there so many women inside your treasure space?" Melody Wood couldn't help but ask.

Seeing their suspicious looks, he laughed, "They're all friends of mine, though some are also my wives."

"Wives? Who? You actually have a wife?" Lynn Lin asked, curious and a bit disappointed.

"Shuang'er—you've seen her before," he said with a smile.

Lynn Lin and Melody Wood both nodded, then Lynn Lin asked, a bit dissatisfied, "What about the others?"

"I told you, they're just friends," he replied, laughing.

"Your friends—why are they all inside your artifact?" Lynn Lin asked, confused.

"You two were inside my artifact too, weren't you?" he countered.

"That's different. We were taking shelter," Lynn Lin argued.

"They're also taking shelter, but they can't come out right now," he explained.

"Can't come out? Why? Are they hiding from someone?" Lynn Lin asked suspiciously.

"They're restricted by the laws of this world," he answered.

"Laws? What laws?" Lynn Lin was completely lost.

Melody Wood understood and asked suspiciously, "You're not from this world-realm?"

"That's right. I'm from another world-realm, and so are my friends. I forcibly broke through the realm barrier to enter here, but they can't do that. If they came out, they'd be restricted by the local laws, since their strength isn't enough," he explained.

Melody Wood nodded, curious. "Are you from the Chaos World? Why did you come here?"

Lynn Lin immediately interrupted, "What are you two talking about? I don't understand any of it."

"Since you're both my friends, I should have explained this long ago. Let's find a place and I'll tell you everything," he said.

He took them to an inn, sat down, and began explaining everything in detail.

Meanwhile, back in the Meyor Imperial Capital, Empress Myra raged, cursing, "Damn it, damn that brat!"

General Hugh asked suspiciously, "Empress, what's wrong?"

"What else? That damned kid somehow removed the poison, then took everything and escaped with the girls," Empress Myra said.

Hearing this, General Hugh said, "We should have killed him sooner."

"Killed him? Let me tell you, I already fought him head-on, but couldn't defeat him. I only managed to escape when he was trapped," Empress Myra replied.

General Hugh was shocked. "What? He has that much power?"

"That's right. The creature from the monster specimen hall was also taken by him," Empress Myra said.

General Hugh was stunned. "What? It was him?"

"Yes, him. That kid has already exceeded all my expectations. I'm planning to unseal it and use it to hunt Evan Yang," Empress Myra said.

"But Empress, that thing is extremely hard to control—it could easily backfire," General Hugh protested, alarmed.
