Chapter 1410
As the terrifying, oppressive aura in the air faded, the wind finally began to move again on the prairie. A gentle breeze stirred the grass, and you could see the waves ripple through the meadows as if the wind itself was lifting them in undulating patterns.
Before this, every blade of grass on the prairie had been frozen, unable to even tremble.
With the confrontation over, the weaker mages finally began moving toward the center. Even from seven or eight kilometers away, the presence of two top-tier powerhouses was enough to suppress Sky Rank Level 5 mages, making it impossible for them to advance.
Leon could withstand the pressure and move forward. If it was only the suppression from their aura, even stepping into the Sky Rank Level 7 circle wouldn't be a problem. But at that point, too many things would be exposed—Agalon was holding back, so Leon decisively stayed at the rear, quietly waiting.
With so many powerhouses gathered here, and four at Sky Rank Level 9, it was clear this wasn't about anything simple.
Once the scene returned to calm, Agalon was the first to speak.
"Some of you already know what this is about, but most of you probably don't understand why you've been called to this meeting. Let me explain again."
Agalon's tone was heavy. The other three seated at the crystal table were just as grim. Even the tattooed mage kept silent, not interrupting Agalon.
Leon frowned, wondering what could possibly bring together so many powerhouses. These people basically represented most of the major factions in the Northend World.
Not only were the forces of the Odin Kingdom present, but also those from the Stoneland Kingdom, representatives from the Endless Forest to the south, and even a Sky Rank Level 5 magibeast from the royal family of Andalusia Kingdom.
"Everyone should know about the Leviathan Realm—it's the most important resource realm for Northend World. But I suspect most of you don't realize that the Leviathan Realm is the closest plane to Northend World, with the thinnest spatial barrier among all major realms nearby.
Its environment most closely resembles Northend World, and its size is nearly the same. Those gathered here may not all have roots in the Leviathan Realm, but what I’m about to say is no longer the trouble of just one or two factions.
In fact, everyone in Northend World is about to face a very big problem!
As Agalon spoke, the expressions of the powerful figures standing at the front all changed, while the three at the crystal table looked grave, as if they already knew exactly what Agalon was referring to.
One of them, a gaunt Sky Rank Level 8 mage who looked almost like an undead, spoke up.
"Lord Agalon, is it Leviathan?"
Before Agalon could reply, the mage covered in strange tattoos showed a twisted, unsettling smile.
"No, not Leviathan. That thing is dead—completely and utterly dead. There's no chance of resurrection. What we're facing now is far more troublesome than Leviathan ever was."
Leon stood at the back, quietly listening to their conversation. At first, he'd been startled, but now he was even more worried.
