Ending Part 1

12/2/2025

The Ye Sect had gradually declined over the years. Shuyang Ye had long since passed away, and afterwards, the sect was handed over to Yuna Ye. But Yuna was never cut out for the role. Injured by Ethan Gray in the past, her body remained frail even after recovery, and she was tormented by emotional troubles, leaving her neither the heart nor the strength to manage the Ye Sect. Still, having once been one of the Three Great Martial Families, it wasn’t so easy to collapse completely. This time, the Ye Sect also received an invitation, but Yuna didn’t come—she must have been afraid to see Ethan Gu!

Lily Ling only realized she had fallen for Maurice Mo after the fact, and then started following him everywhere like a shadow. Every time Maurice went on a mission, she would show up. The main figures in the Ghost Guild and Cloud Guild all knew how closely the two guilds were connected, and no one cared who gained or lost—they were family, after all!

So Lily often used official business for personal matters—either clashing with Maurice or clinging to him relentlessly. In the end, the two finally got together, and now they even have a little rascal of their own. The Ghost Guild and Cloud Guild are now even more closely tied!

"First bow to Heaven and Earth!" The master of ceremonies' voice rang out across the crowd.

As the bride and groom bowed, a crowd of people—some rarely free, others bored beyond measure—kept making a racket. The master of ceremonies wiped the cold sweat from his brow, feeling outnumbered. How was his voice supposed to rise above the rowdy martial arts masters?

The main hall was packed to the brim. With everyone shouting, it felt almost like an earthquake. Among the crowd were also a bunch of mischievous ghosts. If it weren’t so crowded and noisy, you’d definitely feel a chill in the air. Still, the more perceptive guests sensed something was off. Those who knew the ins and outs about Morgan Shangguan and Roxy Shangguan weren’t surprised, but when the cold wind blew, they’d quietly shift their position—not daring to mess with ghosts. If you couldn’t provoke them, you could at least avoid them!

Finally, the master of ceremonies took a deep breath and shouted, "Second bow to the parents!"

Quentin Hua saw the two young parents and twitched his lips, but still bowed. After all, they were Roxy's parents.

As he lowered his head, Morgan Shangguan happened to spot two people in the crowd and was speechless—these two big shots had secretly come to the mortal world to attend the wedding. Damien Gray clearly saw them too, but wasn’t surprised at all. Lady Vivian Yan was as eccentric as ever, nothing like an immortal, and as for his master—how could he dare disobey?

Though the scene was lively, a closer look revealed something odd. The two circles of people in the center were all beaming, faces flushed, full of energy. But those farther out seemed strange—some pale-faced, some sweating, some trembling, and some yawning so much their eyelids could barely stay open. They were all just barely hanging on!
