As soon as Simon Abe vanished around the corner, a flash of red light exploded with a bang. Shawn Young felt his vision blur, and the noisy sounds of the street suddenly filled his ears. On the other end of the street, a crowd of people had appeared out of nowhere...
In that moment, Shawn Young realized what had happened: before their magical showdown, Simon Abe had set up a barrier that blocked off the entire street.
But Shawn quickly sensed something was off. The people on the street were all gathered outside the Night King Club.
They were all dressed in black, many showing off their tattoos. It was obvious they were gangsters, and the most striking thing was that most of them carried pistols, with some even holding automatic submachine guns and other weapons. Their faces were twisted with vicious intent.
And there were a ton of them—just by eyeballing it, there had to be at least a few hundred. Armed with all those weapons, this crew was practically a small army!
Shawn’s heart skipped a beat. He figured only the Yamaguchi Syndicate could pull together a gang this massive. He immediately started gathering his qi, thinking about how to handle them.
Just then, the crowd suddenly parted, and three people stepped out, heading straight for Shawn. Leading the way was Ray Tang, with Luna Xiao and Tony Zhou right beside him.
"Whoa... How’d you guys get so many people?" Shawn asked in surprise.
"No need to be surprised, Shawn! Most of these are brothers from the Thirteen Enforcers. Our Dragon Clear Brotherhood guys are still on their way," Ray Tang replied.
