Go Back Immediately

Princess Olivia Gu was crying, her voice breaking in despair: "Jason Zhuo, you never trusted me. You've been following me, haven't you?"

"It's not that I don't trust you," Jason Zhuo replied. "I knew from the start... you only married me for revenge."

Princess Olivia Gu fell silent for a moment. "Then why did you marry me?"

"Why do you think?"

"I—don't—know!"

Jason Zhuo said nothing. He picked up the dagger and suddenly stabbed it toward his own chest.

Princess Olivia Gu gasped and grabbed the dagger. "What are you doing?"

"When I told my father I wanted to marry you, he said: 'Marry her if you wish, as long as she's not here to take revenge on our Zhu Family.' I swore on my life that you weren't here for revenge. So today, when you poisoned the well, I can't escape the consequences."

"You..." Princess Olivia Gu's tears fell like rain. "Why do you have to force me like this? Why do all of you have to force me?"

"Olivia, don't cry." Jason Zhuo let go and pulled her into his arms.

Princess Olivia Gu collapsed against his chest, sobbing her heart out.

Grace watched and sighed.

After that, Princess Olivia Gu didn't attend the birthday banquet. She left the mansion alone.

Jason Zhuo wanted to follow, but Grace stepped in and stopped him, sending him to the banquet and going after Olivia herself.

Jason Zhuo knew Grace was much stronger than him, so he let her go.

Then he went to the banquet, telling everyone Olivia wasn't feeling well and Grace was taking care of her.

Someone even joked, asking if she was pregnant...

......

Grace, worried about Olivia, kept following her.

Olivia went straight back to her mother's house, where she saw Dowager Lady Blue Moon at the door.

When Dowager Lady Blue Moon saw her, she looked around warily and asked, "Why are you back? Did you succeed?"

Princess Olivia Gu didn't answer. She just sat down, looking utterly lost.

"Say something! Today is that old woman's birthday—it's the best chance to act. Did you do it or not?"

"I tried to poison the well, but someone caught me!" Olivia said.

"What? You were caught?" Dowager Lady Blue Moon glared at her. "How did you get caught?"

"I don't think I can ever go back..." Olivia said weakly. "Mother, I can't handle this. I'm useless..."

Smack! Dowager Lady Blue Moon slapped Olivia across the face.

Olivia was stunned by the slap and turned to look at her mother, who had always loved her.

"Pull yourself together!" Dowager Lady Blue Moon snapped. "The Zhu Family killed the Late Crown Prince and framed your brother! They murdered him and even hung his body from the city gate for seven days! Remember that—how can you give up now?"

"Mother..." Olivia sobbed. "But I..."

"No crying!" Dowager Lady Blue Moon snapped. "Wipe your tears and go back to the Zhu Family right now!"

"But they already found out about the poisoning."

"If they really caught you, would you still be here crying?" Dowager Lady Blue Moon retorted. "I know you—you couldn't go through with it!"

"I'm not—"

"Go back right now! Kill them all! Otherwise, how will you face the ancestors of the Gu Family?"

"Mother, Jason Zhuo really did catch me! Even if I go back, there won't be another chance."

"Then why did he let you go?" Dowager Lady Blue Moon asked. "If he let you go, it means he has feelings for you! You should use that!"
