An Unimaginable Person

Hearing Lynn Chen mention Ethan Yi, the excitement instantly drained from Yolanda Fang’s face. She leaned back against a rock by the hot spring, yawned, and said, "What do you mean I’ve been hung up on him? Honestly, after he left Minghai, I pretty much stopped reaching out. He did call me a few times, but I hung up every time."

"Why though? Didn’t you really like him? Wasn’t it you who used to cry and threaten to tie him to the bed and have your way with him right then and there?" Lynn Chen was stunned by Yolanda’s words.

Everyone at school knew how Yolanda felt about Ethan Yi. Lynn always thought Yolanda was the kind of girl who lived purely—loved and hated openly. If she didn’t like someone at school, she never kept it bottled up, and she’d gotten into her share of fights with girls. Of course, she’d been beaten up plenty herself.

"Did I like him? Honestly, I’m not even sure if it was really ‘like.’ I’ve been thinking about it a lot lately. Back then, I probably just admired him—admired how Ethan Yi could be so obsessed with his soccer dream. His whole goal was to make the national team. You know what I’ve been like since I was a kid—my dream was just to eat, drink, and play. Best case, don’t make me go to school. Totally carefree, that’s me."

"Later, when I actually met Ethan Yi, he really did seem different. Everyone else was either messing around or trying to be the teacher’s star student, but he was dead set on soccer, practically glowing with his dream. Total oddball. That’s why I was so curious—did this weirdo have something special? Then he made the national team, his dream came true, and just like that, that glow faded in my eyes."

Yolanda rolled her eyes. "But honestly, it’s a good thing he was always so high and mighty, never gave me the time of day. Nothing ever happened between us. Looking back, I kinda want to smack my old self—why was I always looking for trouble when I could’ve just chilled?"

Pfft.

Lynn couldn’t help but laugh at Yolanda’s words. Nothing she said was surprising. Lynn never really cared about Ethan Yi—didn’t like him, didn’t dislike him, and definitely wasn’t about to speak up for him.

"But Lynn, what about you? What are you really thinking?" Yolanda suddenly asked, tilting her head to look up at the starry sky. When Lynn didn’t answer, just stared off into space, Yolanda actually shut up for once, being unusually considerate.

Still, out of the corner of her eye, Yolanda couldn’t help but glance toward the distant Villa No. 1.

Inside Villa No. 3.

Victor Su stood inside, eyes closed, lost in thought.

Soon, Molly Su walked in carrying a cup of ginseng tea. "Grandpa."

Victor Su opened his eyes, looked at Molly, hesitated, and asked, "Did your condition flare up tonight?"

"No."

Seeing Molly shake her head, Victor Su finally relaxed and nodded. "Looks like that guy really does have some serious medical skills."

Victor Su’s complexion was a lot better than before. Ever since Evan Lin used seventeen silver needles on him, Victor felt his energy and blood flow were completely unblocked, as if he’d gotten ten years younger.

He hadn’t felt this relaxed in years.

"Molly, if what he said is true, your illness won’t act up for at least a year. That puts my mind at ease," Victor Su nodded with a smile.

Just then, Blade walked in from outside with his phone in hand. He looked at Victor Su and said respectfully, "Mr. Su, Hugh Hu and his group have returned safely to Jinnan."

Victor Su nodded slightly. "What’s the situation with Zack Guang’s injuries? Any news?" When he asked about Zack, his expression turned serious.

Earlier, when he arrived at the White Dragon Mountain Resort hall, Zack Guang was already unable to move, but at the time, Victor didn’t ask what had happened.

"Zack Guang is the Guang family’s youngest pseudo-Vajra. I really can’t imagine anyone being able to hurt him that badly."

Victor Su’s face was serious. He’d only seen Evan Lin take action against Hugh Hu, not against Zack Guang, so he was still unsure what had happened.

If Evan Lin really was the one who injured Zack Guang, Victor would have to take him even more seriously.

After all, anyone who could hurt a pseudo-Vajra that badly had to be at least Vajra level—even a fifth-pin Vajra is a real Vajra!

Besides, how old is Evan Lin, anyway?

He’s probably even younger than Zack Guang!

If someone that young is already a Vajra master, plus has those mysterious medical skills...

Just thinking about it filled Victor Su with shock—this was way, way beyond what normal people could even imagine!

"The news from over there... Zack Guang’s injuries..."

Blade paused for a moment as he spoke.
