Guessing Identities

"So, what other tricks do you have left?" Evan Yang said with a smile.

What tricks could the Blue Clan possibly have left? Everyone was here; all their experts had arrived. As for that poisoned one, he definitely wouldn't show up. If they had any other means, it was simply impossible.

So, under the furious glares of the Blue Clan members, Evan Yang led the still-dazed Shadowhand Guild crowd.

He walked straight out of the city gates, then continued beyond them. This was Evan Yang's first time acting so boldly. The Blue Clan could only follow close behind, wanting to step forward but unsure how to make a move.

"Han, what realm is your strength at now?" Xin Jiang finally snapped out of it and asked curiously.

"Strength? Late-stage Spirit-Wandering, I suppose." Evan Yang smiled at Xin Jiang as he walked beyond the city gates. The people behind looked as if they were sending Evan off, but the anger in their eyes was anything but farewell.

Hearing Evan Yang say 'late-stage Spirit-Wandering,' Xin Jiang stared at him in shock.

After walking a few steps, Evan Yang smiled at the two of them, "Something might come up soon, so I'm going to send you both into my tower for a bit."

Xin Jiang didn't understand what Evan meant by that, until after they walked out of sight of the crowd and left Baina, Evan found a chance to send both Xin and Damon into his tower.

Seeing everything inside the tower, Xin and Damon were utterly amazed. Evan Yang had no time to explain, because at that moment, he ran into a new problem.

"We just let him walk away like that?" The Blue Clan Patriarch sat in the castle, thinking about what had just happened, his expression suddenly shifting.

"I never expected this, never expected it at all." Benson Blue repeated several times, unable to believe Evan Yang's strength had grown so terrifying. Besides that one, the Blue Clan had no one who could match him.

Today's events utterly ruined the Blue Clan's reputation. Everyone sitting in the castle now had their heads lowered.

After hearing Benson Blue repeat those words, the Blue Clan Patriarch sighed, "Just a few years, and he's already like this—far more frightening than we ever imagined!"

"So what do we do now?" Benson Blue asked, frowning.

"If our Blue Clan can't handle him, then let someone else do it." At this point, the Blue Clan Patriarch had no way to deal with Evan Yang, so he could only leave him to those who wanted to catch him.

Benson Blue heard the Patriarch's words and, though he disagreed in a hundred ways, could only snort coldly, "If our clan's hidden lord wasn't poisoned, Evan Yang would never have been able to run wild in Baina."

Everyone knew that, but Evan Yang had appeared at just the right moment. For some unknown reason, that person hadn't shown up. Outsiders assumed he was tangled up with the monster, or for some other reason, simply not in Baina.

Meanwhile, Evan Yang's reputation soared even higher.

Across the continent, anyone with some achievement in cultivation knew Evan Yang's name. To defeat all the Blue Clan members with a single blow—most believed only a handful of top figures could manage that. Yet Evan had done it, so his status now rose to equal those very people.

Evan Yang had no idea that this battle had left the whole continent deeply shaken. Right now, he was curiously sizing up the person before him.

"Long time no see," the man said, smiling at Evan Yang.

"Long time no see," Evan Yang replied with a slight smile. The person before him was none other than the Sky Unity Sect Master. He never expected that the first to find him would be this seemingly ordinary sect master.

"Your performance today was truly shocking—almost unbelievable," the Sky Unity Sect Master said with a smile.

At first glance, Evan Yang saw the Sky Unity Sect Master as early-stage Spirit-Wandering. But deep down, he couldn't believe it—someone at that realm shouldn't have been able to find Evan so quickly, and Evan only noticed him once he got close.

"Just lucky," Evan Yang said with a smile.

"Luck is one thing, but strength is another," the Sky Unity Sect Master replied, smiling at Evan Yang.

"What are you trying to say?" Evan Yang had only met the Sky Unity Sect Master once before, and always felt uneasy around him—especially now, that feeling was growing stronger.

"It's been years—why do you act like a stranger when you see me?" the Sky Unity Sect Master asked, clearly amused.

"Because right now, you seem very unfamiliar to me," Evan Yang said with a smile.
