"Evan!"
At the table, countless eyes turned toward the doorway.
When they saw Evan Lin standing there, Lynn Chen and Yolanda Fang instantly jumped up from their seats, their faces changing. Beside them, Joy Zheng and Yolanda were also startled.
Just now, Zack Guang single-handedly took down a whole group of security guards. Now, seeing Evan Lin at the entrance, Joy Zheng and the others grew even more anxious inside.
Get out of here, quick!
Lynn Chen shouted at Evan Lin.
Even though she knew Evan was a great fighter—he'd fought his way out of Imperial Grand KTV before—deep down, Lynn still felt that Zack Guang was even more dangerous.
After all, from what people said just now, Zack Guang apparently came from a military background and had professional training since childhood. Seeing Evan face off against him, Lynn worried Evan might get hurt.
"Huh? You care that much about that kid?" Hugh Hu, seeing Yolanda Fang's expression change, looked surprised.
He turned his head and looked at the entrance too. Seeing the slightly thin teenager standing there, Hugh Hu's eyes were full of amusement and disdain: "Is that kid really worth all your concern?"
"Ha, did that kid get scared stupid by Zack? Wasn't he acting all cocky just now?" Ryan Chen looked at Evan Lin, eyes full of resentment.
"Of course. He really thinks knowing Summer Mu makes him all that? Even if Summer Mu were here, if Zack wants to fight, not even Summer could stop him!" Neil Kong sneered.
"Didn't Old Man Su just call him away? And now he's back alone so soon—probably means Su realized he had the wrong person." Sharon Chen guessed, having worried that if Su came back with Evan, things might get tricky.
But now it looks like Evan came back alone.
What Sharon didn't know was, Old Man Su and Molly Su were originally with Evan, but halfway there Su realized he forgot something and went back, planning to return later.
"This is bad!" Henry Zhang saw Evan Lin appear and his mind raced. If Evan got hurt in White Dragon Mountain Resort, Summer Mu and Summer Jie would definitely blame him. Thinking of this, Henry didn't hesitate—he rushed straight at Zack Guang.
"Get out of here!"
Henry Zhang shouted at Evan Lin, but just as he was about to get close to Zack Guang, Zack didn't even turn his head. He just spun around and kicked Henry in the stomach, sending him flying.
With a loud crash, Henry smashed into several tables and chairs, landing on the floor and gasping for breath, looking utterly miserable.
Zack Guang acted like nothing had happened. He looked at Evan Lin, amused, like a cat eyeing a mouse. "What, you're still not running?"
"Why would I run?" Evan Lin shook his head slightly and walked calmly toward Zack Guang.
From the moment he walked in and saw Henry Zhang get kicked flying by Zack Guang, Evan's expression hadn't changed at all.
"Looks like you'll be joining them on the floor soon." Zack Guang grinned, but his eyes suddenly darkened as Evan approached.
He really hated being provoked. To Zack Guang, this skinny-looking kid in front of him didn't even look as tough as the ones already lying on the ground.
At most, it would only take one punch.
Zack Guang's face was full of disdain and contempt.
Across the room, Yolanda Fang and Lynn Chen looked anxious.
Joy Zheng stood up, about to rush over, her face full of worry, but Lucy Lu grabbed her arm and held her back.
"Overestimating yourself. Watch how Zack puts your little hero flat on the ground." Hugh Hu leaned back in his chair, one hand on the table, looking totally relaxed.
"Zack! Hit him hard! That loser isn't worth a damn!" Ryan Chen shouted, eyes blazing with excitement.
The two girls nearby looked on, ready for the show.
"Better call 911 now, before someone gets killed." Neil Kong laughed.
With Zack Guang making a move, what kind of spark could Evan Lin possibly make?
"If you regret it now, it's not too late. Reaching pseudo-Vajra at your age must've cost you a lot of pain. If you get crippled here, it's honestly a shame."
Evan Lin spoke calmly.
He walked forward, each step echoing crisply on the floor.
Zack Guang's face was full of disdain and contempt, but when he heard Evan's words, he froze for a moment.
His eyes suddenly widened as he stared hard at Evan Lin, his voice low: "How do you know I'm already at pseudo-Vajra? Who sent you?"
Very few people knew Zack Guang had reached pseudo-Vajra; most just thought he was at the late stage of inner strength.
Plus, Zack had always stayed by Hugh Hu's side, just acting as his bodyguard. He'd never met anyone who could really push him to go all out.
Hearing Evan Lin casually reveal his identity, Hugh Hu instantly assumed Evan was sent by someone else.
"Pseudo-Vajra? What is that, some kind of Kung Fu Hulk?" Yolanda Fang asked, totally confused.
Around the table, Shawn Xiao and the others were just as puzzled.
They were all just regular people, with no clue about the world of martial arts—at most, they'd heard a few rumors about experts.
Neil Kong and Sharon Chen froze for a moment, but over on the other side, Hugh Hu—usually so smug—suddenly tensed up, eyes locked on Evan Lin with a surge of fear and unease.
"Just a slightly higher-grade kind of trash."
Evan glanced at Yolanda Fang and explained coolly.
As soon as he said that, Zack Guang clenched his fists.
"Trash? I want to see what makes you think you can call me trash!" Zack's eyes flashed with killing intent. He snorted coldly, his aura exploding.
As Evan walked closer, Zack stepped forward and kicked a security guard lying on the ground, then kept booting more guards up off the floor one after another.
The guards screamed as they flew toward Evan Lin like soccer balls.
"Watch out!"
Yolanda and the others' faces changed dramatically.
With so many bodies flying at him, wouldn't Evan get crushed?
Zack's eyes narrowed.
Evan's face stayed calm. He kept walking, never slowing down, lifting his head slightly to watch the wave of flying guards. He snorted coldly.
Suddenly, a surge of invisible force burst from Evan Lin. Each guard in midair was swept aside by the force, floating gently to the ground, not a single one touching Evan.
To everyone watching, Evan walked right through the storm of bodies without a speck landing on his clothes.
"A mantis trying to shake a tree. Overestimating yourself. You deserve to be crippled."
