Earth Immortal Burial Zone

1/5/2026

“Benefactor, what’s wrong?” May Xia hadn’t noticed Ryan’s internal agitation—she even leaned closer, her pale chest fully exposed to Ryan’s gaze.

“C-could you cover up a little?” Ryan swallowed hard and quickly turned away.

Hehe, I’m already your woman, Benefactor! If you ever need anything, May Xia is always ready!” Her tone was openly flirtatious—Ryan’s earlier display had clearly won her over.

Alright, I’ll let you know if I need anything.” Ryan was still a little cautious—her aggressive flirting was almost too much for him.

Got it!” May Xia finished, then deliberately shook her chest twice—clearly trying to seduce Ryan.

Let’s go, to the Earth Immortal Burial Zone!” Ryan was a bit speechless, but with this cold-immune beauty by his side, he felt a lot more confident as they moved deeper into the Necropolis.

Compared to his own struggle at Void Immortal peak, May Xia’s total lack of reaction to the cold was even more astonishing.

Ryan even wondered if, with May Xia’s help, he could make it all the way to the Heavenly Immortal core—the benefits there would be countless, probably billions of times greater than any outer zone.

“Yes, sir!” May Xia quickly followed, while Ryan—even at Void Immortal peak—still felt wary of this place. The cold and baleful qi pressed on him, but strangely, May Xia seemed totally unaffected; the cold and evil aura even shrank away from her. Ryan couldn’t help but wonder what she really was.

But now wasn’t the time to investigate—stepping into the Earth Immortal Burial Zone meant things would get much tougher, and Ryan had to seize every second to power up.

The True Immortal Burial Zone was finally behind them—a clear boundary lay ahead, and right past it was the Earth Immortal Burial Zone. Ryan could feel a terrifying cold waiting for him, and even saw creepy faces swirling in the air—Earth Immortal wraiths up to no good. If he hadn’t hit Void Immortal peak, his mind would’ve cracked from the pressure. This place was seriously freaky!

“Don’t worry, Benefactor. With me here, just stay chill!” May Xia reached out and grabbed Ryan’s hand.

Ryan almost wanted to refuse, but the instant May Xia squeezed his hand, all his anxiety vanished—her touch was crazy warm and soothing. He went from tense to totally relaxed, like soaking in a hot spring. It felt way too good!

Without thinking, Ryan ended up squeezing May Xia’s hand right back!

May Xia flashed him a sweet smile, obviously loving it!

She even leaned in closer without meaning to, and Ryan didn’t resist at all. Not only did she look gorgeous in his arms, but she was like a living furnace—just being near her filled him with warmth!

Right then, they finally reached the terrifying Earth Immortal Burial Zone. The moment Ryan set foot inside, brutal blizzard winds and a wave of killing intent exploded all around—enough to freak out any cultivator!

Just think—hundreds of Earth Immortals from the top holy lands could gang up on someone like Harlan Yanro, but here, there were millions buried all around! Sure, they’d lost their minds, but the power sealed in those bones was still there. If any of it stirred, the pressure was off the charts—Ryan could barely handle it!

Honestly, if May Xia wasn’t here, Ryan wouldn’t even dare set foot inside!

“Go for it, Benefactor! Hit Void Immortal great-perfection first!” May Xia urged him on.

Ryan nodded. Sure, this place was evil, but it was also a massive treasure trove—every single Earth Immortal was basically a jackpot. Sucking up their power wouldn’t just boost Ryan’s cultivation, it could even trigger a breakthrough for Primeval Heavenwood’s Immortal Water.

Ryan figured, if he could absorb all this Earth Immortal energy, maybe Primeval Heavenwood’s Immortal Water would finally level up into Immortal Crystals!

That kind of upgrade was hype as hell—if he could use Immortal Crystals, his odds against Harlan Yanro would skyrocket!

“Charge!” Ryan didn’t hesitate for a second. Getting into this treasure zone was a huge deal, so he had to go all out. He shot straight into the air, but played it safe and stuck to the edge instead of flying right over the heart of the Earth Immortal burial ground.

He looked around—there were over a thousand Earth Immortal corpses buried nearby. If he drained all the power from their bones, he’d probably hit Void Immortal great-perfection on the spot!

“Devour!” Ryan shouted. No hesitation—he instantly started sucking up wave after wave of pure Earth Immortal energy. It was way purer than anything outside, since these corpses had rested undisturbed for ages. Each one was way stronger than your average Glass Pavilion Earth Immortal!

In a blink, Ryan had absorbed the power of more than a hundred top-tier Earth Immortals—felt like gorging on a super deluxe seafood buffet!

Instantly, Ryan felt his strength ballooning at rocket speed!

And as he powered up, even more Earth Immortal true force kept pouring in. His Void Immortal energy skyrocketed—he was getting closer and closer to great-perfection, and his golden aura was turning even brighter!

If he could really break through to Golden True Immortal, that’d be absolutely hype!

But right then, weird blizzards suddenly whipped up all around—circling Ryan like they were out to block his breakthrough.

“You think a little wind and snow can stop me?” Ryan didn’t hesitate—he spun and blasted out a surge of power, scattering the blizzard’s pressure in an instant!

But that move just triggered an even bigger blizzard, and now there were freaky ‘monsters’ clawing out of the snow!

“Seriously? Is this zone just out to get me?” Ryan gritted his teeth—clearly, the Earth Immortal Burial Zone was a whole different beast. These bones might’ve been buried for ages, but they were slowly regaining a bit of self-awareness.

Seeing Ryan crazily devouring their power, the bone spirits naturally fought back—and their retaliation kept coming, wave after wave. Every time he made a move, new enemies swarmed from every direction.

So, even if Ryan swept one wave away, another popped up right after—each one stronger than the last. Forget hitting Void Immortal great-perfection, just defending himself was exhausting!

Just as Ryan was getting overwhelmed, May Xia suddenly shot up and planted herself right in front of him.

“Benefactor, I’ll block the blizzard for you! Hurry up and break through—this chance won’t last, so don’t waste it!” May Xia said, then tore open her clothes, unleashing her pure body and a wave of intense heat that shielded Ryan from the storm. Inside her protection, it felt like a greenhouse—he couldn’t feel any pressure from the blizzard at all!

“Thanks!” Ryan felt a rush of warmth—helping people really does pay off! May Xia’s power shocked him all over again; she was crazy strong, though her own reserves wouldn’t last forever.

Ryan didn’t hesitate any longer—he went all out, sprinting for Void Immortal great-perfection. Only by reaching that realm could he hope to break into Golden True Immortal!

It was a tough step, but if he made it, he’d be totally reborn. Primeval Heavenwood’s push for Immortal Crystals was also hitting a critical point…
