Entering the Timewheel Bracelet for Seclusion

1/19/2026

Word of Evan Chu’s return to Frostbane Imperial Palace with Princess Ivy spread like wildfire—but not many came to greet them. Most palace members were still in seclusion, completely unaware they’d come back.

Back in the main hall, Evan Chu sat at the head chair and introduced Princess Ivy’s identity. When everyone learned he’d personally brought her from the Netherworld, they were utterly stunned.

Evan asked about the recent situation in the Immortal Realm and found out everything was normal. At the Immortal–Demonic Realm border, Nolan Nangong and Jade Qin had stationed hundreds more guards and set up alarm arrays—if anything happened at the Demonic entrance, they’d be notified instantly. Preparations were solid.

Nowadays, Immortal Beasts and Immortal Realm humans got along pretty well—no major conflicts, just the usual minor friction. That’s inevitable. As long as it didn’t erupt into a real fight, nobody bothered to intervene.

Roxanne Lin had already returned to the Phoenix Clan for her second Nirvana. The other women were all in seclusion, hoping that when Evan Chu ascended to the God Realm, they could leave with him. But in truth, only the Immortal Realm’s three great fairies might actually pull it off.

After handling palace affairs, Evan Chu went with the Emerald Immortal Empress and Princess Ivy down to the underground secret chamber—officially for closed-door cultivation. He told everyone: if anything major comes up, send word; otherwise, best not to disturb them.

Once inside, Evan Chu summoned all his wives out of seclusion and gathered everyone in the largest underground chamber—including Lena Chu, Cole Chu, Lynn Chu, and Ethan Chu.

It was a true family reunion for Evan Chu—even if not everyone was present, the numbers were impressive. After introducing Princess Ivy, everyone was shocked to learn Lena Chu was her daughter.

“We’ve got over two thousand years until the Immortal–Demon War, and this is the best window to rest up and get stronger. But I’ve got a bad feeling—it’s gonna come much sooner. When I killed Zane Zuo, his Immortal Infant escaped to the Demonic Realm.”

“As long as he’s hiding in the Demonic Realm, they know everything about us in the Immortal Realm. The only thing they don’t know is that Immortal Beasts are now part of our power. Even with Immortal Beasts, we’re still way too weak.”

“After visiting the Netherworld, I really get it. If the Netherworld wanted to wipe out the Immortal Realm, it’d be a piece of cake. Late-stage Immortal Emperors are everywhere, there are tons of demigods, and even God Realm experts—any of them could instantly slaughter anyone from our side.”

“And the Netherworld experts told me the Demonic Realm has even more monsters. When the Immortal–Demon War breaks out, it’ll be those true peak experts who decide everything. That’s the real battle. But the Immortal Realm just doesn’t have enough top-tier strength.”

“Ancient Immortals? Sure, they’re strong in the Immortal Realm, but to Demonic Realm powerhouses, they’re just ants. So I’ve decided—I’m taking everyone into the Timewheel Bracelet for training. Maybe by the time we come out, you’ll all be ready to ascend to the God Realm.” Evan Chu declared.

“Dad, if you take us into the Timewheel Bracelet and the Immortal–Demon War breaks out early, what do we do if we don’t make it out in time?” Yvonne Xuan asked. She probably understood Evan Chu best—even if she didn’t know all he’d been through in the Netherworld, it was obvious the trip hit him hard.

“You don’t have to worry about that. I’ll leave a clone outside. If the war breaks out early, my clone and I share one mind—I’ll know instantly. My real concern is, if you all come out of the Timewheel Bracelet, you’ll face not just the war, but God-Tribulation lightning right away.”

That’s insanely dangerous—especially if a whole group tries to pass God-Tribulation together. Who knows what kind of power that’d unleash? I might not even be able to protect you all. But if you don’t go in, your progress will be way too slow. It’s a tough choice.” Evan Chu admitted.

“Dad, what’s the Timewheel Bracelet, anyway? What does it actually do?” Lena Chu asked, full of curiosity.

“The Timewheel Bracelet is a heaven-defying treasure I own. Inside, the Immortal Essence is unbelievably dense, and time flows differently—one year outside equals a hundred years inside. If you go into seclusion for a thousand years in there, it’s like training for a hundred thousand years. With that, I’m sure you’ll all hit God Realm strength.” Evan Chu explained.

“Dad, that’s easy! Just let us train for a hundred years, come out and have some fun, then go back in for another hundred. We can stagger it depending on everyone’s bottleneck—if someone’s about to break through or ascend, they just don’t go in. Once everyone’s caught up, we go in together,” Lena Chu suggested.

“The Timewheel Bracelet can only be used once in the Immortal Realm—a single thousand-year session. Otherwise, I wouldn’t be so conflicted. Let me think if there’s any other way.” Evan Chu said, clearly torn.

Selena Yale spoke up: “Evan, I’ve got an idea. Why not let everyone enter the Timewheel Bracelet and cultivate like mad, but once they’re close to ascending, have them stop and come out? That way, they won’t run into God-Tribulation the moment they exit.”

“That’s a good plan, but it means everyone needs total control over their own breakthrough. Otherwise, it could get dangerous.” Evan Chu warned.

Everyone nodded in agreement. Evan Chu didn’t say anything else—he just activated the Timewheel Bracelet and swept everyone, including himself, inside.

Yvonne Xuan, Serena Frost, and the others were already familiar with the Timewheel Bracelet, but even they were blown away by the Immortal Essence inside. A single month of cultivation here was worth a year outside.

Evan Chu immediately released Goldwing, Jade Chu, and Tom Chu. “Everyone, go find a spot to train. Remember: if you hit a bottleneck, stop. If you feel like you’re about to ascend, tell me in advance so I can move the whole group out.”

“Don’t worry, we’re not kids anymore. You need to be careful too—if you break through early, that’s trouble. Your realm is already late Immortal Emperor, isn’t it?” Yvonne Xuan reminded him.

With that, everyone scattered. The Timewheel Bracelet’s world was huge and beautiful, and each person went off to find their own cultivation spot. Evan Chu didn’t rush to train—he knew he’d only need a hundred years here to hit God Realm strength. Instead, he planned to search for traces of the true Netherworld princess, Princess Serena Hua’s remnant soul…
