Return to Frostbane Imperial Palace

After obtaining the Sunstone, Evan Chu said, "This time I'll let your Golden Crow clan off. Don't go around oppressing others just because you think you're strong. There is always a higher heaven and stronger people—remember that!"

The Golden Crow King wanted to say something, but his injuries were too severe, so he held back. Facing a powerhouse like Evan Chu, he could only accept his bad luck—this was the tribulation destined for the Golden Crow clan.

Evan Chu didn’t linger; he quickly teleported away. With the Sunstone in hand, he truly couldn’t wait to return to the Immortal Realm—he’d been away so long, it was finally time to go back.

After several consecutive teleports, Evan Chu appeared thousands of li away and soon arrived before King Victor Zhao and the Beast King. Both had fully recovered by now, and the temperature in this area was no longer high. Their journey to the Extreme South had left them deeply affected.

"Lin Feng, did you get the Sunstone? Are you alright?" King Victor Zhao asked anxiously.

"The Sunstone is actually called the Sunstone of the Gods by the Golden Crow clan. Fortunately, I got it. Let’s head back now—we’ve been out long enough," Evan Chu replied.

The three of them quickly returned, and after a few days, arrived back at Serene Nether City. Princess Ivy, Chase Chu, and the others saw them return safely and finally relaxed.

"Dad, I bet this trip was dangerous, right? Tell us what happened! I really regret not joining you for the experience," Chase Chu said.

"Heh, Chase, if you’d come along this time, it would’ve been nine deaths and one life. To be honest, your Uncle Beast King and I were in the same boat. The Extreme North and Extreme South are just too dangerous—even with our strength, we couldn’t go deep into those places.

Only your dad is such a freak—no matter where he goes, it’s like he doesn’t feel anything. But we were freezing to death or burning alive. If I ever get the chance to go to those two places again, I’d rather be beaten to death than go!

It’s not just the terrifying environment—even those ice and fire Netherbeasts aren’t something ordinary people could handle. Your Uncle Beast King and I suffered plenty ourselves," King Victor Zhao said, still shaken.

Everyone was stunned. King Victor Zhao and the Beast King were top experts in the Netherworld—if even they barely survived, anyone else would have been doomed for sure.

"Alright, don’t listen to your father-in-law exaggerate. It wasn’t that dangerous! Chase, go set out some wine—I haven’t had a drink in ages and I’m craving it," Evan Chu said.

"Princess Serene already went to prepare. It should be ready by now! Your wife is really thoughtful!" Chase Chu laughed.

Once everyone entered the side hall, the banquet was indeed ready. Evan Chu said, "This trip was pretty rewarding—I got the Heart of Frostflame and the Sunstone. Both will really help my strength. King Victor Zhao, Beast King, my thanks to both of you—let me toast you!"

He finished his drink in one gulp. King Victor Zhao and the Beast King also drained their cups. During the banquet, Evan Chu recounted some key moments of the journey, leaving everyone shocked. Chase Chu looked up to his father’s terrifying strength, resolving to train even harder.

After the banquet, Evan Chu walked with Princess Ivy in the rear garden of the City Lord’s Mansion. "Ivy, I’m about to leave the Netherworld. I’m planning to take you back to the Immortal Realm—what do you think?"

"If I could return to the Immortal Realm, I’d be overjoyed. But once I leave, what about Chase? He’d be all alone in the Netherworld, and that worries me," Princess Ivy said.

"Chase isn’t a kid anymore—he’s married now, so you don’t need to worry. He’s got Serene by his side, and when they have children, he won’t be lonely," Evan Chu replied.

"When do you plan to leave? Honestly, I really miss my sisters. Have they all ascended to the Immortal Realm?" Princess Ivy asked.

"Lillian and Faye ascended long ago, and Lena too—you’ll see them when we get there," Evan Chu said.

The two stayed in the Netherworld for two more days and told everyone about their planned departure. Although Chase Chu and Princess Serene didn’t want Evan Chu and the others to leave, they knew they had to return to the Immortal Realm and couldn’t stop them.

Evan Chu didn’t have any special treasures to give the two, but he did teach Chase Chu the first six forms of Sevenfold Absolute Cleave. With Chase’s hidden divine bloodline, he should be able to learn them, but as for the final form—even Evan Chu doesn’t know it, so he could only leave it out.

On the appointed day, Evan Chu, the Emerald Immortal Empress, and Princess Ivy left Serene Nether City. When they departed, King Victor Zhao and the Beast King held a lively farewell for the three, hoping Evan Chu would visit the Netherworld again if he had time.

Faced with their enthusiasm, Evan Chu couldn’t refuse and cheerfully agreed, though he wasn’t sure if he’d really be able to return.

After leaving Serene Nether City, Evan Chu carried Princess Ivy as they flew, with the Emerald Immortal Empress leading the way. After a few days, they reached the entrance where they had first entered the Netherworld. The formation was still intact and undiscovered, which reassured Evan Chu and the Emerald Immortal Empress that the Immortal Realm was safe.

Then the Emerald Immortal Empress broke the invisibility array, revealing the passage back to the Immortal Realm. A powerful force pulled them in, and after a few breaths, the three appeared at the entrance to the Black Lake.

The Emerald Immortal Empress set up the invisibility array again, mainly to prevent Netherworld beings from entering the Immortal Realm. She also laid a new attack array, so if anyone from the Netherworld tried to enter, they’d be hit by a powerful strike.

Now they were at the bottom of the lake, surrounded by darkness with no sunlight. Princess Ivy could still endure it, so Evan Chu immediately took out the nearly depleted Sunstone from the Golden Crow King.

"Ivy, absorb a little of the energy from this Sunstone. That way you’ll be able to walk in the Immortal Realm. Its energy will change your Netherworld physique. Honestly, the Golden Crow clan could leave the Netherworld if they wanted, but for some reason they never do. That kind of world is really stifling," Evan Chu said.

"Young Master, the Netherworld has the Extreme South, with temperatures far higher than anywhere in the Immortal Realm. There are hot places in the Immortal Realm, but nothing compares. Even if the Golden Crow clan wanted to leave, they’d have nowhere to settle. Maybe that’s the real reason they stay," the Emerald Immortal Empress said.

Evan Chu nodded, agreeing with her reasoning. Princess Ivy began slowly absorbing the Sunstone’s power. After a whole day, she’d only absorbed a tiny bit, but her body had already changed noticeably.

Now she could actually absorb Immortal Spirit Force—something she’d never thought possible. And she’d only used a small fraction of the Sunstone’s energy.

"Alright, Ivy can now absorb Immortal Spirit Force. Once she has enough in her body, she won’t fear the Immortal Realm’s sunlight. Then we’ll go straight back to Frostbane Imperial Palace," Evan Chu said.

After another day, the three finally left the Black Lake. Actually, as soon as Ivy absorbed the Sunstone’s energy, they could have left, but Evan Chu wanted to be extra careful. This time, he summoned Goldwing, and two days later, the three of them arrived back at Frostbane Imperial Palace…
