Right now, inside a centuries-old castle in Italy—the heart of the Western Holy Court—a scene was playing out that could make anyone's blood run wild.
A dozen naked Chinese men writhed as crazed vampires tore into them, draining their blood with animal ferocity. In less than thirty seconds, every last one was reduced to nothing but a limp sheet of human skin—the horror was so raw it could freeze your soul.
“Hahaha, Chinese blood really is delicious! Go grab more—grab as many as you can! We want more!” shouted a nearby vampire, clearly not satisfied yet.
“Sir, the Chinese in the surrounding cities have either fled or died. They're scared out of their minds!” trembled a blonde beauty beside him.
“Useless! Go catch more! Are the Ten Blood Kings of the Blood Clan really unable to catch a few Chinese?” another vampire yelled.
“That's right! Send everyone out to hunt!” another vampire snapped, clearly still unsatisfied.
The blonde beauty nodded hurriedly and rushed out in a panic.
Just then, at the very top of the castle, a woman's voice suddenly rang out, shrill and piercing, making every vampire in the area perk up their ears.
“Her Majesty the Blood Empress must be having a blast—let's go check it out!” an excited vampire jumped up.
In an instant, the ten so-called Blood Kings rushed up to the top floor of the castle.
Inside a vast bedroom, a drop-dead gorgeous woman with a body that could ruin nations was straddling a man. He was a Chinese God-Realm cultivator, but right now, he was nothing but prey—his body shook uncontrollably, foam frothed from his lips, and you could see every drop of his blood being sucked out, inch by inch. It was the kind of scene that would haunt your nightmares for years.
“Blood Clan demon, my Sky-Dragon Sect will never coexist with you!” The Chinese cultivator let out one last desperate roar, then his eyes rolled back and he died on the spot.
"Pathetic! Barely half an hour—last one lasted a full hour. These Chinese men get weaker every round. Is there not a single decent one left in all Western Europe?" The woman slid off the corpse, not bothering with clothes. She let everyone stare, flaunting her perfect body, every inch oozing seductive cruelty.
The voyeurs outside didn’t even bother to hide—they all wandered in, chatting loudly, their voices tinged with helpless resignation and a twisted sort of excitement.
“Your Majesty, the Chinese around our Holy Court are nearly extinct. There’s nowhere left to hunt, and the tribute from nearby countries isn’t much better. If we manage to catch a God-Realm, it’s already a rare treat!”
“Exactly. There’s almost none left. Most Chinese have gone home—seems China’s in big trouble, and everyone’s desperate to get back. We couldn’t stop them even if we tried!”
“If it comes to that, we’ll just go hunt in the neighboring countries ourselves. No way we come back empty-handed!”
...
As the Blood Kings discussed, the drop-dead gorgeous Blood Empress laughed. “I heard there’s a top-tier powerhouse in China who wiped out Japan and Niyama, and now he’s wrecking the U.S.—bring me that boy! I bet his blood tastes incredible!”
“Your Majesty, you mean Ryan Ling? He’s Kunlun League’s number-one wanted criminal. The U.S. is teaming up with sixteen major powers to hunt him, and Kunlun’s sending their top experts. Big moves coming soon!”
“Also, our people in South Korea have already captured his parents and branded his father with a blood rune. We could use them to lure that kid here!” another Blood King chimed in.
...
But just then, as the group chatted, an elderly vampire hurried in and whispered something to a Blood King. That Blood King slapped his thigh, face changing: “Bad news—something’s gone wrong!”
“What’s up? Why the panic?” The Blood Empress turned to glare at him.
“Just got word—South Korea’s been wiped out by that kid. Our agent Lee Min-ho was captured, and he’s already found out the Blood Clan was behind his parents’ kidnapping. He’s bound to make a move!” the Blood King blurted.
“If he knows, that’s even better. For the sake of his father, he’ll definitely come for us!” another Blood King said, eyes gleaming.
“Right! If he dares show up, we’ll turn this place into a jar to trap the turtle!” another Blood King snickered.
"Good. Catch him for me—I need to know if his blood is really that sweet. They say even Jessica, the demon witch from the U.S. Seventh Fleet, died at his hands. I’m dying to taste him myself!" The Blood Empress flashed a wicked, hungry smile—seduction and cruelty in every curve.
...
Meanwhile, Ryan Ling and Lee Min-ho were on a flight from Yanjing to Italy. The Blood Clan’s Western Holy Court—ancestral base, center of their power—was right here in Italy, with their influence spiderwebbing across Europe.
Ryan’s plan this time was all about surprise—mindless slaughter was pointless. What mattered was finding a way to remove the blood rune!
“Where’s the nearest Blood Clan stronghold to the airport?” After landing, Ryan led Lee Min-ho through the crowds. It was his first time in Italy—he needed a base of operations.
“As far as I know, there’s one not far from the airport: Amosie Town. Lots of Blood Clan there—I’ve been once,” Lee Min-ho said, voice trembling.
“How many Blood Clan members total?” Ryan pressed.
“Should be over a thousand!” Lee replied. Ryan didn’t hesitate—they’d scope out Amosie first and get the lay of the land.
In Europe, the Blood Clan are the nobility—though the real royals are in the Western Holy Court at the center, while nobles like those in Amosie Town guard the periphery.
They hopped into a local taxi. Ryan took in the foreign scenery, but what really surprised him was that on the streets of Italy, not a single Chinese face could be seen.
But being the only Chinese face in sight, Ryan instantly drew hostile stares. These people looked ready to pick a fight—he cracked his knuckles, thinking, try me and you’ll be fertilizer.
Instead, Ryan’s presence set off a wave of attention—every stare was loaded with malice. He flexed his fists, grinning to himself: anyone who tried something now was courting death.
"That’s Amosie Town up ahead!" Lee Min-ho gulped, pointing nervously.
They walked into the bustling town—blonde, blue-eyed beauties everywhere, many whistling at Ryan.
Ryan froze for a second—these weren’t ordinary people. The blood running through their veins was strange; it was clear they were all Blood Clan.
Ryan paused—these weren’t ordinary people. That weird blood in their veins gave them away: Blood Clan, no question.
It was Ryan’s first time face-to-face with Blood Clan. His whole body tingled with a strange excitement, but this time it wasn’t just nerves—it was Primeval Heavenwood. Normally calm, the Heavenwood inside him was practically quivering, like it was starving for these vampires.
“Ryan, this is great news! Looks like Blood Clan blood is super nourishing for Primeval Heavenwood’s growth—that’s why it’s so pumped!” The Ghost Elder piped up inside.
"Ryan, this is gold! Looks like Blood Clan blood is like superfood for Primeval Heavenwood—no wonder it’s hyped!" The Ghost Elder cheered inside.
Ryan grinned, eyes flashing. "If that’s true, it’s perfect. I was already planning to wipe out the Blood Clan—if their blood turbo-charges Heavenwood, that’s two birds with one stone!" Right now, his strength was stuck at mid-to-late Nascent Soul, and with a foundation this massive, breaking through to late stage was a nightmare. Even Heavenwood’s spirit energy wasn’t enough—but with Blood Clan blood as fuel, maybe he’d finally level up!
“That bar’s a local Blood Clan hangout—might be the place to dig up info on blood runes!” Lee Min-ho whispered urgently.
“Sure, let’s drink—since when have I ever been scared of a few pretty girls?” Ryan smirked, wrapping his arms around four or five Blood Clan beauties and even giving the two hottest ones a firm squeeze on the butt.
Lee Min-ho swallowed hard and grabbed two himself!
The chapter ends with Ryan strutting straight into the Blood Clan’s lair, ready to flirt, infiltrate, and tag these vamps as Heavenwood chow—and his next power-up ticket.
