At the flying vessel marketplace, Evan Yang planned to find a fast ship. After all, in the void, flying vessels are quicker than the Tower itself and make it easier to reach planets without teleport formations.
"This one looks good." After picking out a model, Evan Yang picked it up, ready to buy.
Just then, a group of people walked in. As soon as they entered, the shop doors automatically closed, and a protective formation rose around the store.
No one outside had any idea what was happening inside.
"Kid, you could’ve gone anywhere, but you just had to walk into a Fenn Family shop. Looking for trouble, huh?" someone laughed.
That person was none other than the Fiend Realm youth. After hearing Evan Yang had arrived on Glazestar, he rushed over—just in time to catch Evan buying a flying vessel in a Fenn Family branch store.
"You again." Evan Yang hadn’t expected these people to show up here, and the shopkeeper and staff quickly retreated behind them.
All the original Yin‑Soul Realm squad members were here, including the four who had used the Cross‑Kill Spear Net.
"That’s right. We went through a lot of trouble to find you. Today’s the day we take you down and call it a day." The youth grinned.
"You tried to kill me last time too, and I’m still alive, aren’t I?" Evan Yang replied coldly.
"This time’s different. Last time you got lucky and escaped—let’s see you try it again." The youth laughed.
As soon as he finished speaking, the four moved into action.
They surrounded Evan Yang again.
They still thought Evan Yang was the same as before, convinced he couldn’t escape their attack range. But Evan moved—his speed was now much faster than before.
"Mid-stage Spirit-God!" The squad was stunned.
"Die!" Evan Yang instantly flashed to the nearest man, his dagger slicing right past him.
The blade was incredibly sharp—even with armor protecting him, the man was still cut open, blood pouring out.
Everyone was shocked; the other three hurried to raise their defenses.
Evan Yang had seriously wounded one, then kept going, unleashing tremendous burst power—one hand with a Powerburst Gauntlet, the other with a dagger.
He forced the three back again and again.
Now, with one missing, they couldn’t activate the Cross-Kill Spear Net, leaving the three on the defensive. Evan Yang laughed, "You’re down a man—how are you going to fight me now?"
"You really are a monster!" Vice-Captain Li cursed. Last time they could at least tie Evan down, but now, with just three, none dared fight him one-on-one.
"Talk is cheap." Evan Yang vanished in a flash, hitting top speed, and seriously wounded another—the man was sent flying.
These two had the lowest cultivation, but even they’d only just advanced past the Spirit-God Realm.
Vice-Captain Li was the strongest and most adaptable of the four. Furious, he shouted, "You keep him busy—I’ll use the Seven-Segment Locking Rope."
The last uninjured man nodded, stepping forward to keep Evan Yang occupied without clashing head-on.
Vice-Captain Li pulled out seven chain segments, each as long as an arm.
Seeing the chain, Evan Yang immediately sensed it was no ordinary item—the aura it gave off was terrifying.
"Die!" Vice-Captain Li laughed loudly.
The Fiend Realm group was thrilled—this Seven-Segment Locking Rope was their last hope. If it couldn’t take Evan Yang down, they’d really be asking for trouble.
