Wayne Scarlet's Wariness

The space fell silent. The three cultivators accompanying Gavin Hung were all frozen in place.

Gavin Hung was killed? It was just a single exchange, and Gavin Hung was slain by an Immortal Emperor?

Gavin Hung was the strongest among the four of them. Now that he was dead, the remaining three didn't attack Joe Di's group again.

At that moment, Joe Di kept laying down rule formation flags. Having just used the Rift Blade to kill Gavin Hung, who was being held back by Maya Mu, he had expended considerable energy.

"They used a trapping-killing array to kill Big Brother Gavin. Let's join forces and avenge him! Don't worry, the only thing they relied on—the trapping-killing array—has already been broken by us." The female cultivator came to her senses and shouted sharply.

The other two cultivators, who had condensed Dao Seeds, also came to their senses and simultaneously unleashed their treasures, attacking Joe Di's side.

Joe Di let out a sigh of relief. Another rule trapping-killing grand array was set up, and he sent a voice transmission to Maya Mu, instructing her to deal with the female cultivator.

The opponents included two Dao Forging cultivators. Gavin Hung had been killed by them, and the woman was also Dao Forging. However, in Joe Di's eyes, her strength was inferior to Gavin Hung's.

"Another trapping-killing array..." As the three opponents unleashed their treasures, they once again found themselves caught in a new trapping-killing array.

There wasn't a single formation flag. This trapping-killing array seemed to have formed naturally... A naturally occurring trapping-killing array—those are all innate arrays.

"Pfft!" As Maya Mu's first Spirit Blade swept up a flash of blood, the woman looked at Joe Di in despair. She opened her mouth to speak, but the killing intent swirling around her rendered her speechless.

Yet inside, her mind was in turmoil. She didn't know how Brother Gavin Hung had been killed, but she knew exactly how she herself was dying.

When Joe Di's blade struck, her divine rule technique suddenly shattered—he had broken her divine rule! Could such a technique truly exist in this world? On the surface, it seemed Maya Mu killed her, but she knew all too well that it was Joe Di who ended her life.

Several more flashes of blood erupted, and the woman's consciousness faded into darkness.

Joe Di charged into the Deathtrap Array, his Azure Veil Blade sweeping up a flurry of blades that enveloped one of the two remaining opponents.

It took everything Joe Di had, along with help from the Deathtrap Array and Maya Mu, to deal with a Dao Forging cultivator. But against a mere Dao Seed cultivator, Joe Di barely needed any effort—especially since this was his territory.

Almost at the same time that Maya Mu and Zach Wu joined forces to kill another opponent, Joe Di's Azure Veil Blade pierced the forehead of his chosen target.

Maya Mu was inwardly shaken—Joe Di was simply too powerful.

When Joe Di put away the second ring, Maya Mu handed him two more. Joe Di didn't take them, instead saying, "Sister Mu, you and Brother Zach each take one. Let's go—into the Hive."
