Crisis of the Dragon Body Part One

"Evan has a crucial mission. You girls aren’t going to regret being with him just because he’s Dragon Clan, are you? If you really do, it’s better to leave him now. What he needs are women who genuinely understand, support, and care for him." Selena said at that moment.

"That’s not what I meant! Once I’ve chosen him, no matter what he becomes, I’ll be his woman for life. I was just shocked to see a true Dragon Clan member for the first time, that’s all—nothing else." Lynne Nie quickly explained. If Evan Chu misunderstood her, she’d be done for.

"Good, that’s what I want to hear. Evan’s mother is a powerful golden dragon, but she’s currently imprisoned and suffering in the Dragon Shrine. His greatest wish is to rescue her, but with his current strength, it’s impossible. That’s why he needs our help." Selena continued.

"Selena, you’ve been with him the longest and know Evan best. What kind of person is he, really? I feel like he’s hiding so many secrets it’s almost overwhelming." Lynne Nie said.

"All I can say is, Evan is a man who stands tall between heaven and earth—a man you fall for at first sight. For family and friends, he’ll risk his life without hesitation. He hides his pain deep inside and never lets others see his sadness. And now, that man has become our husband." Selena said.

"Enough, let’s not dwell on it. Evan must have broken through after absorbing Serena’s Gold Yin Qi and that’s why he’s like this now. All we can do is wait quietly. If he reacts, I hope the next person to see him is Lynne or Selena." Selena Yale said.

Serena Dream looked at Selena Yale in confusion and asked, "Selena, why is that? Are you saying we can’t be the ones to face him?"

Selena and Lynne also felt a bit regretful, but since Serena had spoken, they couldn’t answer further. Selena Yale smiled, "Evan is a once-in-ten-thousand-years Pure Yang Constitution. Serena and I are no longer maidens. Selena, even after being with Evan so long, has kept her purity—honestly, I admire her for that."

After absorbing a woman’s yin qi, Evan’s strength skyrockets. But I’ve noticed something important—his internal energy isn’t just Stellar Power, it’s more like the Chaos Force described in ancient texts. And because of his Dragon Clan bloodline, he also has Dragon Force, plus an unusually deep mastery of all five elements, even housing five-element energies inside.

If he shows any extreme reaction or pain, he might actually need your pure yin qi—the unique energy released the first time a woman loses her virginity. That’s the best medicine to heal him. It’s just my theory, but it shouldn’t be far off. Serena spent her wedding night with Evan, so she should know what I mean."

Serena’s cheeks flushed instantly. "It’s true. Evan absorbs our yin qi, but he also infuses us with a mysterious energy—a kind of power. If you circulate it through your body for several cycles and refine it, your strength increases a lot. We might not break through to the Saint Martial Realm, but it does boost the Stellar Power inside our Divine Star Pellet."

Selena and Lynne stared at Serena in shock. Who would’ve thought that becoming Evan’s woman came with such benefits? Strange things happen every year, but Evan’s are truly endless.

"Don’t doubt it. Serena’s right. After dual cultivation with Evan, I broke through to the Fourth Layer of the Saint Martial Realm. The higher your realm, the harder it is to advance, and for us it took several tries. I believe you can do it too." Selena Yale finished, her flawless face tinged with red.

Meanwhile, in a mysterious underground palace, a mass of black mist floated in the air. Before it stood a masked figure in black, only his eyes visible—eyes that seemed capable of destroying all things.

"Heavenbane, you useless fool! How many times have I told you—Frostbane is off limits. If I wanted him dead, I’d have done it myself long ago. Do you know how many times he’s reincarnated over the past ten thousand years? Only this time am I truly satisfied. If there’s another, I’ll annihilate you, body and soul." the black-clothed figure said coldly.

His voice didn’t seem to come from his mouth, giving it an ethereal, unpredictable quality. The black mist trembled in the air, clearly terrified.

"I was wrong, Master! Please forgive me!" the black mist pleaded, its tone filled with fear and respect.

Suddenly, a beam of white light shot from the black-clothed figure’s hand toward the black mist. As the mist was enveloped in white light, a human silhouette slowly appeared and fell to the ground.

That silhouette was none other than Heavenbane Demon General, who had escaped after being cleaved in two by Evan Chu. At this moment, a massive wound on his body oozed black blood, looking utterly terrifying.

"Thank you for saving my life, Master! Heavenbane will serve you forever!" Heavenbane Demon General immediately knelt before the black-clothed figure.

"Heavenbane, consider this a warning. Remember—Frostbane cannot be killed. He’s vital to my plans. If you mess up again, I won’t hesitate to destroy you. Any of the Nine Great Sects can be wiped out except Frostbane Sect. As for why, I’ll tell you later. Now go recover in the Blood Pool!" With that, the black-clothed figure vanished from the underground palace.

Two more figures appeared. Seeing them, Heavenbane Demon General gave a bitter smile. "Let you two see me in this sorry state—what a disgrace."

"Don’t say that, Heavenbane. We’re brothers. You’re lucky Master saved your life. Remember his words: Evan Chu can be gravely wounded but never killed. Not even Master himself can kill him. Just keep that in mind. Come, let’s get you to the Blood Pool!" one of them said.

The three of them instantly turned into black mist and vanished from the underground palace. Meanwhile, in Frostbane Sect, Evan Chu began to move—his whole body trembling uncontrollably. Slowly, his limbs retracted, his body elongated, and finally he transformed completely into a golden dragon.

The dragon form wasn’t very large, and the room easily accommodated him. Evan’s transformation utterly stunned the four women—seeing a real golden dragon was a once-in-ten-thousand-years event.

At this moment, Evan looked to be in immense pain, unconsciously letting out a dragon’s roar. He seemed not to recognize the four women before him at all—his eyes flashed with wild hostility, as if he wanted to attack them…
