Evan Cross and the Savage Earth Dragon flew out of Skywind Valley in no time. Along the way, they passed directly through a couple strands of Heavenwind, and by midday, they appeared at the valley's outer edge.
"Lord Golden Dragon, are we heading back to the Dragon Shrine now?" the Savage Earth Dragon asked Evan Cross.
"It's not time yet. I still have important matters to handle. The Divine Battlefield has ten great ferocious beasts—Fire Unicorn, Azure Spirit Drake, and you. Do you know about the others?" Evan Cross asked.
With his defense now practically monstrous, Evan Cross was determined to collect more demon cores—they'd definitely be useful in the future. This was a rare opportunity, and since he was here, there was no way he would miss it.
"Ten great ferocious beasts? I can't say I know all of them, but I do know about the Fire Unicorn and Azure Spirit Drake. Their strength is about the same as mine. Lord Golden Dragon, have you really encountered them?" the Savage Earth Dragon asked.
"Of course I've met them. The Fire Unicorn is now just a beast egg, and I've already slain the Azure Spirit Drake. Any beast on par with your strength is one of the ten great ferocious beasts—you should know that," Evan Cross replied.
The Savage Earth Dragon was startled—he hadn't expected Lord Golden Dragon to have slain even those two troublesome beasts. That kind of power was terrifying. Thank goodness he'd been smart enough not to make an enemy of Evan; otherwise, he might have ended up dead too. Just thinking about Evan's ability to disperse Glasswind sent a chill down his spine.
"The Divine Battlefield is huge. I usually just stay in Skywind Valley. But besides the Fire Unicorn and Azure Spirit Drake, I do know of two other beasts about as strong as me: Blazewolf and the Galeclaw Eagle. Both are extremely tough opponents," said the Savage Earth Dragon.
Evan Cross grinned. "You should know where those two hang out, right? Blazewolf's probably a fire-attribute beast, and the Galeclaw Eagle's a wind-attribute flying monster. Which one's territory is closer to here?"
"Lord Golden Dragon, why do you ask? Are you planning to hunt them down?" the Savage Earth Dragon asked.
