The World Must Bear the Name Chu

2/14/2026

Evan Chu, accompanied by the elders of the Mansfield Family, examined the high-grade Star Core they had obtained. Outwardly, it seemed utterly ordinary—just a palm-sized hexagonal stone.

But this six-facet stone radiated an intense Stellar Power, and the instant Evan Chu touched it, his Chaos World space surged with a longing stronger than ever before.

"Such a powerful space fluctuation from this clan!"

The Chaos Spirit was the first to leap out, roaring. Right behind were the Geocore Soul Mother, Sea-Eye Spirit Spring, and Elemental Spirit Pearl—all of them stunned.

"What kind of treasure did Evan Chu get this time?"

"Yeah, this fluctuation might even be stronger than the Chaos World’s origin itself. Could Evan Chu have gained a whole new world?"

The Elemental Spirit Pearl and Geocore Soul Mother turned to Lynton Chu and asked.

How could Lynton Chu know? He could only force a bitter smile. "I’m not sure either. Right now, Evan is in a place called the Starry Abyss. If I’m not mistaken, what he’s holding should be a Star Core."

"Whatever he’s holding, it’s a heaven-defying world-grade spatial treasure! We should let Evan Chu know how crucial it is for the Chaos World!"

Outside, Evan Chu was listening to a Mansfield Family elder’s explanation.

The power of a Star Core is overwhelming—no one can truly control it. Even Sacred Emperors, when opening a Trial World, can only rely on treasures like the Starry Void Sigil to channel its energy and force the world open.

Now, what we ask of Throne Chu is exactly the same. You just need to unleash the full power of the Starry Void Sigil, and we’ll guide you through opening the Star Core.

"You’re all going to help out?"

Evan Chu looked at the Holy Emperors before him, feeling uneasy. If all their power surged into his body, would he be able to withstand it?

Throne Chu, there’s no need to worry. Our power holds no hostility and will only benefit you. No matter how far the Star Core is opened, after being tempered by the combined strength of so many, you’re bound to gain a lot.

Then I should thank you all in advance.

Evan Chu said this, but his heart was still full of doubts. Even now, he hadn’t truly grasped what this hexagonal Star Core actually was.

As for the Starry Void Sigil itself, Evan Chu only knew it was powerful—but just how powerful, he still didn’t understand.

The reason for everything was that his realm was still weak. When it came to many powerful unknown things, he simply couldn’t explore them yet.

So? Are you about ready?

After finishing his conversation with Desmond Mansfield, Mason Mansfield walked over—after all, he would be the one to lead the Star Core opening.

This matter had nothing to do with Desmond Mansfield; at this moment, he’d already been sent outside to wait with Lena Lin and Lance Li.

"It should be about time. Throne Chu isn’t just powerful—he’s sharp as a blade. After several rehearsals, he must have mastered how to guide and open the Star Core."

The Mansfield Family elder said this, and Evan Chu nodded in response.

He understood what they were saying, but still couldn’t fully grasp the entire process of opening a Trial World.

But it didn’t matter—he still had the Chaos Spirit, Elemental Spirit Pearl, Geocore Soul Mother, and Sea-Eye Spirit Spring. Evan Chu and Lynton Chu were soul-linked, and right now Lynton was relaying the insights he’d heard from the spirits.

After learning this, Evan Chu suddenly understood—so that’s how it works!

Although the Star Core is named for the stars and radiates stellar power, it actually isn’t connected to true stellar power at all.

On the contrary, the Star Core itself is actually an independent world!

Or to put it another way, the Star Core is the embryonic form of a high-level world. Opening a world means tearing open the natural barriers of the Star Core’s exterior and constructing custom spatial nodes and pillars. The stronger the nodes and the more stable the pillars, the higher the grade of the resulting Trial World.

First, if a Star Core’s power is strong, then constructing pillars and spatial nodes is relatively easy—but tearing open the sealed barrier of the Star Core is much harder.

Still, those with high cultivation and the right treasures can build a True Trial World, or even something stronger.

Second, if the Star Core itself is weak, then even if you construct powerful pillars and spatial nodes, it can’t become the strongest Trial World. But these weaker Star Cores have much softer barriers—some can be shattered with just stellar power, without any need for special treasures.

Whether a Star Core is powerful usually depends on the number of facets it has.

Generally, Star Cores with three facets or fewer—no matter how hard you try—can only ever become Pseudo Trial Worlds. Four to six facets have a chance to become True Trial Worlds, and only seven to nine‑facet Star Cores can be opened into Sacred‑grade Trial Worlds.

The Star Core before them had six facets—already extremely powerful and high-grade. No wonder the Mansfield Family valued it so much. Sacred-grade Star Cores have only been achieved five times across several eras! And when the Sixth Sacred Land replaced Frostbane Sacred Land, they used other means to steal world origin, sealing it with a curse instead.

It’s clear just how hard it is for a seven-facet or higher Sacred-grade Star Core to appear again.

A six-facet Star Core, second only to Sacred-grade, sat right in front of them—no wonder the spirits inside the Chaos World were so ravenous.

It was easy to imagine: if Evan Chu could seize this six-facet Star Core and transfer its world origin into the Chaos World, his inner realm would truly surpass an ordinary six-facet True Trial World!

Just thinking about it, a trace of greed flashed in Evan Chu’s eyes—this was a temptation he couldn’t ignore!

"It really is... so tempting!"

Evan Chu’s voice echoed in Lynton Chu’s mind, and Lynton relayed Evan’s meaning to the Chaos Spirit, Elemental Spirit Pearl, and the others.

These spirits had also grown to terrifying heights, and the Chaos World kept evolving. But because its foundation was ancient, it couldn’t take another step forward. To truly become a Trial World, to possess the most unique clan spirit source, to forge true powerhouse lives, even to nurture experts beyond Saints...

Then drawing in the Star Core’s origin would be absolutely essential!

There’s no limit to how many experts a world can produce, but there is a ceiling. In an ordinary world, at most you’ll see a God Sovereign or God Emperor; but in a mighty world, Saints can be born directly.

Evan Chu had already seen this for himself. So now, if his Chaos World takes shape, what kind of experts could it birth? The most ordinary levels wouldn’t satisfy Evan at all...

"Tell Evan Chu! The opening and entrance to the Starry Abyss isn’t easy to find—this might be his last chance. If he gives up now, there may never be another!

So, if this world must be born, it must bear the Chu name! Otherwise, we won’t stand for it. Evan Chu absolutely can’t back down now—he needs to show his old momentum!"

With that, the Geocore Soul Mother made the final decision. As soon as she finished, Lynton Chu relayed her words directly into Evan Chu’s mind.
