A Top Expert Appears

1/5/2026

At this moment, under Ryan Ling's rampage, all the defenders left on Versailles Avenue were instantly wiped out. These Blood Clan members clearly weren't the strongest, and there were only a few hundred of them—barely enough to fill Ryan's teeth. The real top experts were inside the Western Holy Court.

In just a few seconds, Ryan was already standing at the gate of the Third Blood King’s estate. He glanced at the distant mountain—at its summit stood the Western Holy Court, the place that made all of Europe tremble.

No one had dared set foot in this forbidden zone for decades—Ryan was the first!

Ryan clenched his fists. No need to spell it out—the Western Holy Court’s top experts could show up at any second. He didn’t have much time and had to find the Blood Rune Unraveling Method as fast as possible.

Without hesitation, he swung his blade—the gate of the Third Blood King’s estate exploded open with a thunderous crash.

“Y-you...” The Blood Clan inside the estate were already pale with terror, most of them collapsed on the ground. There were a few experts among them, but even they had been scared witless by Ryan’s blade.

“Speak. Where are the ones who made the Blood Rune?” Ryan didn’t hesitate, his gaze sweeping over them—two more experts were instantly cut down.

“Don’t kill me! They’re in the backyard!” One of the servants dropped to his knees, clearly scared out of his mind.

“Smart move. I’ll spare you—now scram!” Ryan swept his eyes over the courtyard, sending the remaining guys flying out. Meanwhile, the whole front gate was completely blocked off.

Ryan kept an eye on the clock—the Western Holy Court’s people could show up at any moment. He had to move fast. In a flash, he dashed into the backyard, and sure enough, found a few people huddled in a corner, shaking with fear.

“I’m not wasting any breath—tell me how to unravel the Blood Rune, or die!” Ryan said bluntly.

“N-no, we don’t know anything! We’re just regular servants!” stammered one tall, skinny guy.

“Die!” Ryan didn’t hesitate—he swung his blade, and that guy’s head hit the floor, then got stomped into mush.

Everyone else went ghostly pale.

“I’m done talking. Tell me now, or I’ll slice you up piece by piece until you do!” Ryan swept his eyes over the rest, and instantly everyone’s face turned green.

“So you all want to die, huh?” Ryan said, and his blade flashed—another guy’s legs were chopped right off.

The others stared wide-eyed at the bloody blade.

“I’ll talk! I’ll talk!” Someone finally cracked and shouted.

“Old Fourth, you bastard—if you dare talk, I’ll skin you alive!” an old man next to him immediately yelled.

“Tough guy!” Ryan didn’t hesitate—his blade flashed, and the old man’s head flew off. Everyone except Old Fourth was beheaded on the spot.

“Ah!” Old Fourth turned green with fear and instantly dropped to his knees, hurriedly telling Ryan the method to unravel the Blood Rune.

“So that’s it. You can go!” Ryan took the unraveling method and didn’t make things hard for Old Fourth. He rushed out of the estate and handed the secret technique to Sherry Long.

“Take it back to China immediately!” Ryan didn’t hesitate. This secret method was his main goal for coming here, and now that he had it, he had to send it back right away. Plus, there were special antidote elixirs to go with it.

“You’re not coming with us?” Sherry Long grabbed Ryan’s hand, clearly reluctant to leave him behind.

“I want to leave, but some people won’t let me!” Ryan glanced into the distance—the Western Holy Court’s auras were already spreading out. Their target was Ryan. If he left with them, they’d all be dead. He had to stay and hold these guys off!

“But…” Sherry Long didn’t finish her sentence before Ryan swept his gaze over to Lee Min-ho.

“What are you waiting for? Get her out of here!” Ryan waved his sleeve, and Lee Min-ho quickly led Sherry Long away.

Staying in Italy was obviously way too dangerous for them—leaving was the only safe move!

Just as they left, the Third Blood King’s estate was instantly surrounded!

“Damn, this kid’s got guts—he actually broke into my estate! I’ll skin him alive!”

“Don’t rush, Third Blood King. The kid’s dug his own grave. We’ve set up the Blood King Death Array inside and out. Even with late-stage Nascent Soul power, he’s not getting out!”

“That’s right, all seven Blood Kings are here. The Blood Emperor’s power is about to break into the strongest Nascent Soul tier—he’s not getting away!”

……

Ryan’s judgment was spot-on. These Blood Clan experts were no joke—they clearly understood cultivation. Each one was late-stage Nascent Soul, and behind them, a top-tier master was rising, her aura way stronger than his own!

“Ryan, you really should’ve left earlier! These guys are Europe’s absolute top tier!” The Ghost Elder sounded worried inside his body.

Ryan knew full well how strong these guys were, but right now, he couldn’t leave. Sherry Long and the Blood Rune Unraveling Method mattered more than anything!

Besides, he wanted to gamble—after all, he had the Primeval Heavenwood, the Blood Clan’s nemesis. Even if he left now, the Blood Clan experts would just go berserk and attack China.

“Let’s fight—maybe I won’t lose!” Ryan gritted his teeth. If he could wipe out these Blood Clan elites, maybe his power would reach peak Nascent Soul!

Normally, he’d never be able to pull off something this big through regular cultivation!

And there was one more thing—the Primeval Heavenwood had started to bud. Those buds needed tons of nutrients. If he could wipe out the Blood Clan’s top brass today, maybe the Heavenwood would bloom, and the benefits would be unimaginable!
