Framed and Punished

"Prince Alexander, please listen to my explanation!" Charles Chu turned around, just about to speak, when he caught a whiff of a strange fragrance. His body went limp and he fainted, collapsing to the ground.

Sean Hayes entered, saw Charles Chu lying on the ground, and angrily kicked him twice, cursing, "Well, well! I wondered which bastard was trying to harm our Princess Consort—it turns out to be you! If you weren't the Crown Prince of Chu, and if your death in Jin didn't risk a war between our nations, I would've killed you already!"

Lily Evans touched the teapot on the table, and Alexander Hayes said, "The medicine inside is from the Chu royal family—its effects are extremely potent."

Lily Evans smiled, "Since it's such a good medicine, let's not waste it then."

Then she whispered a few words in Sean Hayes's ear. After listening, Sean's eyes lit up. "Alright, I'll take care of it right away!"

With that, he poured the whole pot of tea into the unconscious Charles Chu's mouth, stuffed him into a large burlap sack, and leapt out the window.

Lily Evans clapped her hands and said to Alexander Hayes, "Your Highness, come on, let's go watch the fun."
