Grandmaster's Treasure Revealed

12/2/2025

Now, the entire palace was filled with treasures that would make anyone green with envy! Whether it was legendary weapons or martial arts manuals, all were objects of desire.

Thinking of the item that could grant boundless power, everyone grew even more excited. A crowd rushed toward the palace, but all met the same fate—once at the entrance, they were bounced back. This barrier wasn't as lethal as the previous stone wall; those with deeper cultivation survived, but were still gravely injured.

Morgan Shangguan observed the open gate, her heart fluttering with anticipation and unease. Compared to an ordinary door, it was simply more grand. From the outside, it looked no different from a stone wall, but between the doors seemed to be a transparent membrane separating the outside from the inside. She could see the treasures within—so close, yet impossibly out of reach. A faint sense of longing tugged at her, mixed with caution.

Damien Gray frowned, "What's going on?" Perhaps because they'd witnessed previous strange phenomena, no one felt uneasy at this oddity—only anxious about how to get inside.

Prince Ethan gritted his teeth, glaring at the invisible barrier as if he could pierce it with his eyes. To him, the treasure was his only hope, so he was more desperate than anyone. If he still had his inner strength, he'd try himself, but now powerless, he could only signal his loyal followers to attempt it.

These two seemed to be his die-hard loyalists. Even knowing the danger, they didn't hesitate, but the membrane didn't yield to their loyalty—they still failed!

Liam Duanmu studied the grand door, but couldn't discern anything. After a brief hesitation, he stepped forward and walked inside. Everyone watched without blinking, stunned when he entered so easily. Was it because Liam Duanmu's cultivation was deeper?

Morgan Shangguan and Damien Gray exchanged a thoughtful glance, a silent understanding passing between them. Morgan's pulse quickened—was this the moment their fates would shift? She took Damien's hand, and together they stepped into the unknown.

Morgan turned to look behind her, as if nothing existed at all. She had a guess, and Damien seemed to share the same thought. Suddenly, he called out, "Quentin Hua, come in!"

Quentin Hua raised his brows and, obediently, strolled inside with a relaxed air.

Damien Gray then gestured for Jing Moxhen and Gu Yihan to enter, and they passed through just as smoothly.

Seeing how easily these few entered, people began to doubt their earlier failure was real. The crowd stirred again, and more tried to enter.

But in the end, only Leng Yun, Murong Yan, and Duanmu Ye succeeded in passing through.

Violet Snow glanced at those inside, a smile curling her lips. She swept her gaze over the frustrated crowd outside, then led her followers in without hesitation.

Morgan Shangguan and Damien Gray had already confirmed their suspicions: those with greed in their hearts couldn't pass through the gate. Only by temporarily letting go of desire could one enter. But with so many treasures inside, who could truly remain free of greed? Even Morgan found her resolve wavering, the allure of the palace testing her self-control. She drew a steadying breath, reminding herself what truly mattered.

As for Violet Snow, it seemed she had known the secret of the gate all along, which was why she entered so easily.

Violet Snow's gaze toward Damien Gray grew even more fervent. She spoke excitedly, "Ghostmaster, I will help you claim these treasures!"

Morgan's eyes flashed coldly. Claim these treasures? This was clearly Blood Wraith's intention. A chill ran down her spine as she realized the trap—if Damien Gray took the treasures in front of everyone, he'd be hunted by the world. The only way out would be to conquer the realm—those who obey thrive, those who defy perish. Such chaos would be Damien's fate, and he could never escape it! Morgan's heart ached with worry, her protective instincts flaring.

But Violet Snow didn't know all this. She only knew that if she couldn't stand at the top beside Damien Gray, she'd have to bring him down. If the Ghostmaster lost his proud advantages, she could finally have him!

But she was too naive. Damien Gray was not so easily controlled, and these treasures weren't so easily claimed!

Violet Snow may have known the gate's secret, but she understood little else—even Blood Wraith was in the dark. She was oversimplifying things.

Morgan Shangguan pursed her lips in displeasure, then turned to Quentin Hua with a faint smile. "Sect Master Hua, it seems you don't like her much!" Of course, she meant Violet Snow.

Quentin Hua was a clever man. The good thing about talking to someone smart is you don't need to explain much.

Quentin Hua knew Morgan Shangguan wouldn't tolerate Violet Snow any longer. He'd only planned to watch the drama unfold, but now it seemed he'd have to step in himself—what a hassle!

Before he could act, Damien Gray struck—sending Violet Snow flying with a palm from midair, then shot Quentin Hua a cold glare.

Quentin Hua felt wronged. What had he done to deserve this? Was the Ghostmaster really that jealous?

Morgan Shangguan glanced at Damien Gray, a smile flickering in her eyes. She looked around but didn't make any rash moves.

Liam Duanmu also stood in place, observing. The palace seemed merely larger and emptier, but standing inside felt as if a heavy stone was pressing on one's heart, making it hard to breathe.

The people Violet Snow brought paid her no mind; clearly, they were Blood Wraith's men, not loyal to her. Each went their own way, searching for something, not greedily grabbing treasures. Clearly, Blood Wraith hadn't sent ordinary people!

Blood Wraith must be after the item that could make someone master of the realm. Maybe he didn't want to rule, but he wouldn't allow anyone else to gain the power to challenge him!

Suddenly, Damien Gray raised his hand. A surge of energy struck the wall, but it remained unscathed. Due to the angle, the force bounced off and hit another wall.

A faint crack sounded, and the ground split open to both sides. Stone pillars rose from beneath, this time shaped like footprints—one large, one small, spaced just so. For those skilled in lightness technique, so many pillars were superfluous; for the untrained, they were too few, making the crossing dangerous!
