The woman in white suddenly gave a wicked smile. "I can tell you who the Demon Emperor is, but do you actually dare to believe it?"
Quentin frowned. "What do you mean?"
"If I said the Demon Emperor was your little mouse, would you go back and kill him?" the woman in white asked Quentin.
Quentin: "Impossible!"
The woman in white asked again, "Celestial Emperor, if I said the Demon Emperor was your son, would you believe it?"
Celestial Emperor: "Senior, if you do not wish to enlighten us, please do not joke about such things."
"See? I told you, and you still don't believe me. So why bother asking?"
Both men looked frustrated.
"Senior, as a Rune Master, you must be able to divine a way to break this fate. Can you tell us how to resolve the Demon Emperor's calamity?" Lucia Lu asked.
"Yes, yes! That's even more important than knowing who the Demon Emperor is!" The Celestial Emperor's eyes lit up.
"You can." The woman in white smiled faintly. "Just go back and kill the Celestial Empress Liz Li, and this calamity will be resolved."
Celestial Emperor: "..."
Quentin: "..."
"See? You don't believe me again. So why are you still here? Want me to share some candy with you?" She put away the box of candy Lucia had given her. "Not sharing."
Celestial Emperor: "..."
Quentin: "..."
"Forget it! Let's go." Quentin sent a voice transmission to the Celestial Emperor. "I doubt we'll get anything useful out of her."
The Celestial Emperor nodded and said to the woman in white, "Senior, we won't disturb you any further. Farewell!"
The two men turned and walked out.
"Your Majesty!" the woman in white called out again.
The Celestial Emperor stopped in his tracks.
"The Demon Emperor's emergence is inevitable," said the woman in white. "While things are still peaceful, take your Divine Generals to the Primeval Demon Wilds and bring back as many powerful demon beasts as you can. When the time comes, you'll have more strength for battle!"
That suggestion actually sounded pretty good.
The Celestial Emperor turned and bowed. "Thank you, Senior."
Lucia Lu said, "Luna, you all go back first. I'll help Senior check her injuries."
Luna nodded, bowed to the woman in white, and left with the others.
Sean followed after her.
But the woman in white called out again, "Fifth Highness."
Sean stopped walking.
A piece of candy flew toward him. "For you."
Sean looked at her, confused.
"Take it."
Sean reached out and took it.
Then he bowed and left with Luna.
Outside, they saw the Celestial Emperor and Quentin whispering to each other.
Luna walked over and asked, "Your Majesty, Divine Lord, are we heading back to Drake Abyss now?"
"No rush," said the Celestial Emperor. "Let's return to Spirit Alliance first and wait for your Divine Father to come out."
Luna: "...Alright!"
She guessed the Celestial Emperor wasn't ready to give up yet.
He probably thought her Divine Father would get some different intel out of the woman in white.
She led everyone back to Spirit Alliance and invited them to sit.
"Your Majesty, what's the deal with this 'Demon Emperor'?" Luna asked, puzzled. "Why did you travel all the way here just to ask her?"
"Ah, well... The Oracle at Drake Abyss foresaw a Demon Emperor emerging, causing... utter chaos. So we wanted to ask who this Demon Emperor actually is."
"I see! But why ask her?" Luna pressed. "Is she even stronger than the High Priest at Drake Abyss?"
"That's right! She used to be an incredibly powerful Rune Master," said the Celestial Emperor. "She only turned demonic later."
"What's her name?" Luna asked.
Celestial Emperor: "Bianca Whitefan."
"That's a pretty name," Luna said. "But why did she turn demonic?"
