Ruling the Three Realms and Ten Wilds

Once war breaks out, the Ranked Soldier Formation Arts are the main battle formation.

It requires an enormous amount of training.

And the training is absolutely brutal.

To ensure the training stays effective, Divine Lord Tanya Quinn often puts them through days and nights of nonstop, high-intensity drills.

Anyone who dares slack off will be instantly pelted with stones by Lord Noctis—each hit is terrifyingly precise.

After a few months, everyone’s so exhausted they’re practically dogs—dogs with lumps on their heads, no less! Who has the energy to think about anything else?

His Majesty the Celestial Emperor actually feels pretty sorry for his students.

Watching them drill formation day and night, His Majesty the Celestial Emperor sound-transmits to Tanya Quinn: “Don’t push them so hard! They’re all worn out.”

Tanya Quinn replies, “Your Majesty, you want me to train them up within three years, but also not push them too hard? Why don’t you do it yourself? I still have to hurry back to Southcourt Palace and pick a royal husband!”

“Whoa!” The Celestial Emperor’s face lights up with pure gossip. “Southcourt Palace is holding a grand selection?”

“That’s right! The Elders have been planning for ages. They’re going to hold it on my birthday.”

“That’s fantastic!” says the Celestial Emperor. “I’ll personally come celebrate your birthday.”

“Are you really coming to celebrate my birthday? Or are you just here to watch me pick a husband? You’re old enough to be a grandpa, and you still love gossip!” Tanya Quinn snorts.

“Honestly, I’m not that old,” says the Celestial Emperor. “I still feel pretty young.”

Tanya Quinn laughs, “Okay, fine! But if you want to talk about youth, they’re the real youngsters! So yes, the training is intense, but they can handle it. You really don’t have to worry.”

“Mm… Alright then! As long as you know what you’re doing.” says the Celestial Emperor.

“Your Majesty,” Tanya Quinn calls.

The Celestial Emperor: “Hm?”

“That Divination Hexagram—besides saying ‘a Demon Emperor will suddenly rise,’ there must be more to it, right?”

The Celestial Emperor falls silent.

“There must be more,” Tanya Quinn presses. “Otherwise, why would you personally train a Divine General squad? And even pull me in to help? That’s literally unheard of in the history of the Divine Realm.”

The Celestial Emperor sighs, worry etched deep between his brows. “There is, in fact, one more line.”

“What does it say?”

‘To rule the Three Realms and Ten Wilds.’

Tanya Quinn is stunned for a long moment. “A Demon Emperor will suddenly rise, and rule the Three Realms and Ten Wilds?”

The Celestial Emperor nods.

“No way, right? What kind of demon could actually rule all three Divine Realms?”

The Celestial Emperor shakes his head. “I couldn’t figure it out, but the Divination Hexagram is never wrong. I’m certain.”

“…Oh my god!”

At first, I thought it might be Baxa, but after tracking him for a while, I don’t think it’s possible. He just doesn’t have that kind of power.

“So which great demon could it be?” Tanya Quinn runs through all the known demon beasts in her mind. “None of them seem strong enough! Wait—could it be from the Otherworld? Only those bizarre things from the Otherworld could have that kind of power!”

“I thought so too, but it’s not.” says the Celestial Emperor. “The High Priest calculated it—he’s not from the Otherworld.”

“Did the High Priest figure out anything else?”

“He’s male, and he’ll appear in about three years.”

“Which direction? Is there any clue about where?”

“No.”

“So basically, the only usable info is ‘he’s a male demon’? That’s ridiculously little to go on!”

The Celestial Emperor sighs. “That’s all we’ve got. Our Drake Abyss High Priest nearly died trying to figure it out!”

“Drake Abyss priests are heaven-chosen, really special. If even he couldn’t work it out, then probably nobody can.” Tanya Quinn frowns.
