Identity Exposed

Evan Yang had already spread his divine sense, and soon noticed that on the third floor, there was a woman who matched Gabe Little-Imp's description.

"Let's go, to the third floor," Evan Yang said to Gabe Little-Imp.

Gabe Little-Imp looked at Evan Yang suspiciously, "How do you know?"

"?" Evan Yang was momentarily stunned, then smiled, "I guessed."

"You can guess that?" Gabe Little-Imp glanced around. There were four floors here, but Evan Yang specifically said the third, making him very curious.

"Come on, she's waiting there," Evan Yang said with a smile.

Not understanding what was going on, Gabe Little-Imp was convinced by Evan Yang to go upstairs. The four people behind followed closely. As they approached the third floor, Gabe Little-Imp whispered to Evan Yang, "If she really gets angry later, you better pretend to be hurt. Otherwise, after a few times, you'll definitely be in worse shape."

Evan Yang knew Gabe Little-Imp was looking out for him, so he didn't complain much—he just smiled, "Let's go."

Then Gabe Little-Imp and Evan Yang walked up together, with the four people behind them following closely.

There sat a woman, holding a cup and drinking tea, as if waiting for some news.

As Gabe Little-Imp and the others approached her, she looked over. "You came?"

Gabe Little-Imp was about to nod, but the woman's gaze locked onto Evan Yang, and Evan met her eyes. So familiar, such familiar eyes, Evan thought to himself.

The woman also sized Evan Yang up and down. Finally, she tossed her cup straight at Evan.

It looked like a casual throw, but Evan Yang noticed the force behind it—if he were an ordinary person, he'd be seriously injured. Gabe Little-Imp, seeing this, quickly darted forward, trying to block the cup with his body.

Evan Yang saw what was happening. If the cup hit Gabe Little-Imp, it would be bad news. He hurriedly pretended to reach out and slap the cup—clang, the cup fell to the ground. Gabe Little-Imp squeezed his eyes shut, as if the cup had actually hit him.

Feeling nothing happened, Gabe Little-Imp opened his eyes and saw the cup at his feet. The woman was staring at Evan Yang in shock, while Evan pretended to be in pain, "Ouch, that hurt!"

"Are you alright?" Gabe Little-Imp asked with concern.

But the woman kept staring at Evan Yang in shock. She knew that strike wasn't easy, and for a normal person to catch it like that was unbelievable. Her eyes stayed fixed on Evan, as if trying to figure out his true identity.

"Senior, senior, please don't do this—he's my friend," Gabe Little-Imp said quickly, seeing the woman's look and thinking she might attack Evan again.

The woman, still seated, asked, "Who is he?"
