The Crimson Demon Star is truly terrifying—its mere appearance throws the world into chaos. Evan Frost felt a wave of bitter frustration. If he wanted to stop the Crimson Demon Star, the only way was to seize the Big Dipper’s Stellar Power for himself, and use the strength of the Big Dipper to counter the Crimson Demon Star’s cosmic force.
But right now, Evan could barely borrow the power of a single Big Dipper star, and the other six hadn’t even revealed their star marks yet—who knew when they would appear? He only had a hundred thousand years, and though that sounded long, for a cultivator it was gone in a snap.
Glancing at the Dark Abyssal Kraken before him, Evan’s Chaotic Immortal Power surged even faster, flooding into his eyes as he waited for the beast to turn around so he could strike with everything he had.
But the Dark Abyssal Kraken seemed determined not to turn around, keeping its back to Evan Frost for a long while without reacting. Meanwhile, Evan’s eyes, swollen with Chaotic Immortal Power, throbbed painfully.
“Dark Abyssal Kraken, if you want the Darkfruit, you’ll have to get through me first! So you actually dream of ruling the Immortal Realm, huh? This time, you’re dead!” Evan Frost snarled through clenched teeth.
He had to lure the enemy over—otherwise, this Frostfire Eye strike would be wasted. It had cost him a ton of Chaotic Immortal Power, and he absolutely couldn’t afford to let it go to waste.
The Dark Abyssal Kraken paused for a moment at Evan’s shout, then finally turned around. That was exactly what Evan was waiting for. As the beast faced the direction of his voice, his eyes unleashed twin blasts of Frostfire light.
Evan Frost knew just how powerful the Frostfire Eye was. The twin beams struck the Dark Abyssal Kraken’s eyes dead-on, blasting it hundreds of meters away and out of the dark undercurrent.
Those Frostfire beams punched two bowl-sized holes straight through the beast’s massive skull, leaving it grievously wounded—at the very least, its eyes were blinded. Evan wasted no time, swallowing a Jadeheart Lotus seed to restore his spent Chaotic Immortal Power.
The Jadeheart Lotus seed’s immortal essence was unbelievably potent. In an instant, more than ten percent of his Chaotic Immortal Power was restored—something Evan Frost had never expected. Without hesitation, he swallowed another seed; in the Immortal Realm, only Evan would dare to be so bold, devouring Jadeheart Lotus seeds one after another.
The Dark Abyssal Kraken, struck hard, let out a heaven-shaking roar that rocked the entire lake, sending up towering waves. Goldwing and the Golden Dragon King, watching from the shore, stared in shock at the churning waters.
"Should we jump in and help? With the lake like this, the fight must be brutal," the Golden Dragon King asked, voice tense.
"No need for now. Boss’s strength is way beyond what you or I can imagine. He’s got more secrets than anyone alive—hell, even if he dies, he’ll probably come back. If we go, we’ll just be dead weight. Better to watch and wait." Goldwing replied, utterly unconcerned.
The Golden Dragon King’s face darkened. He hadn’t expected the Primordial Dragon to have such heaven-defying abilities. It seemed the Dragon Clan’s rise to power was just around the corner—following Evan Frost promised limitless prospects.
Meanwhile, Evan Frost flew through the dark undercurrent toward the Kraken, deploying his Earth Golden Body and Water Golden Body to mark his path. The undercurrent was bizarre and unpredictable—if he lost his way, it’d be nearly impossible to find this place again.
The Dark Abyssal Kraken thrashed wildly in the water, stirring up a massive whirlpool. The lake’s surface boiled like a cauldron, and the surging waves were enough to inspire terror.
Evan Frost seized the moment—strike when your enemy’s weak! He slashed out with the Frostbane Divine Sword, unleashing a Star-Cleave that split the lake and sent a massive wave of sword energy crashing into the Kraken, blasting it hundreds of meters away yet again.
Even so, he only managed to sever one tentacle and carve a few bone-deep wounds. But for a beast of that size, the injuries were barely a scratch.
"You wretched human! How dare you blind my eyes—today, this emperor will see you dead!" the Dark Abyssal Kraken roared, its body flashing up out of the lake, startling Evan Frost.
Evan hadn’t expected the beast to emerge so easily—it wasn’t afraid of the Immortal Realm’s sunlight at all. As the Kraken broke the surface, Evan saw its body shrouded in dense black qi, making it nearly impossible to harm its true form.
Goldwing and the Golden Dragon King joined the fray, launching attacks at the Dark Abyssal Kraken. Their blows thundered like storms, but did little—they were knocked back by the beast’s rebound force, sent flying far across the shore.
"What insane defense! This is just cheating!" Goldwing exclaimed, voice full of disbelief.
Evan Frost appeared before them and shouted, "Get out of here, both of you! You’re no match for this thing—even blinded, its spiritual sense is terrifying. Don’t become dead weight for the Palace!"
The two instantly retreated, flashing hundreds of meters away. Just then, the Dark Abyssal Kraken moved, unleashing a cloud of thick black miasma at Evan Frost. The dark miasma was highly corrosive, but Evan didn’t flinch.
With a thought, Evan activated the Star-Siphon Art, drawing all the black qi into his body in an instant. The absorption was swift—but as soon as he finished, a massive tentacle appeared before him.
Almost simultaneously, a crushing force enveloped Evan—this was the Kraken’s space domain. The pressure was every bit as intense as the Roc King’s demigod domain, squeezing the breath from Evan’s chest.
The Kraken’s tentacle moved freely within the space domain, wrapping Evan up tight. The grip was even more suffocating than the domain’s pressure itself.
Evan Frost was like a man caught in a downpour with a leaky roof—everything just kept getting worse. His whole body felt like it was about to be crushed, sweat streaming down his forehead.
Seeing Evan trapped, Goldwing and the Golden Dragon King rushed toward him in worry, but Evan shouted, "Stay back! Get out of here, now!"
"You’re dead today! How dare you injure this emperor—today I’ll swallow you alive and show you the true power of the Dark Abyssal Kraken!" the beast roared.
Twin gaping holes oozed foul, pitch-black blood from the Kraken’s eyes, the stench overwhelming. Meanwhile, Evan Frost quickly attuned himself to the elements inside the space domain—he instantly recognized it as a dark element domain, and within a few breaths, reached resonance.
The crushing pressure vanished, but being wrapped up by the Kraken’s tentacle was still agonizing. Right now, the Dark Abyssal Kraken was opening its massive jaws, ready to swallow Evan Frost whole.
Evan’s body was immobilized, the situation dire. If he could just use the Frostbane Divine Sword, maybe he could sever the tentacle—but he couldn’t draw the sword at all.
Just as the Dark Abyssal Kraken was about to swallow him, Evan Frost suddenly thought of a way to break the deadlock...
