Vent the Long-Suppressed Rage

Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!

Amidst a frenzy of explosions, three massive vacuum zones appeared in the void.

This was a trap set specifically for the Human Race’s top experts.

Twenty Sun-Soul-level Insectoids had hidden within the army, waiting to hunt down the Human Race’s masters. They were patient, only striking when Hector Xingtian and his two teammates began to tire.

Their first attack was earth-shattering.

After the initial assault, Hector Xingtian and the other two Sun-Souls were badly wounded and in grave danger.

Kill!

Despite his injuries, Hector Xingtian roared, showing no fear. Instead, he swung his twin giant axes and charged at an Insectoid.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

A new round of explosions erupted. Hector Xingtian was blasted back, coughing blood, but before he flew away, he managed to cleave an Insectoid in two.

Kill him!

The Insectoids spat out strange syllables, their eyes filled with nothing but icy malice and bloodlust.

Hector Xingtian was about to be killed by the combined assault of eleven Insectoids.

The other two Sun-Souls from Xingtian Squad shouted desperately and rushed toward Hector, but the Insectoids attacking them simply knocked them away.

In a flash, the eleven Insectoids closed in on Hector Xingtian.

Boom!

The Sun-Soul phantom behind Hector Xingtian erupted, and his twin axes shone with dazzling light. His eyes blazed with defiance as he swung both axes fiercely at the eleven Insectoids.

It was an ultimate strike—a desperate counterattack at death’s door—that instantly shattered the foremost Insectoid.

But that blow exhausted all his strength. Hector felt utterly drained, as if his power had been sucked dry. He gave a bitter, powerless smile as he fell toward the ground.

Seeing this, the ten Insectoids lunged, their pitch-black claws sweeping out, ready to engulf and crush Hector Xingtian.

But at that critical moment...

A figure suddenly appeared.

Screee!

Endless sword-light erupted like a raging flood, instantly sweeping up the ten Insectoids.

Shrill screams echoed from the sword-light, piercing and harsh.

The figure grabbed Hector Xingtian and tossed him onto the city wall, where a Divine Path cultivator caught him. Several Divine Path experts hurriedly cast healing arts on Hector.

At the same time, as he threw Hector, the figure blurred into a streak and vanished.

Two more bursts of sword-light exploded, sweeping up another eight Insectoids attacking Xingtian Squad.

A moment later, three waves of sword-light slowly faded.

The eighteen Insectoids caught in the blasts were nowhere to be seen—only drifting clouds of bloody mist remained.

Next, the figure charged straight into a black cloud of Flying Beetles.

Heaven-Earth Copper Furnace!

Whoosh!

Blazing fire roared to life, instantly devouring the entire swarm of Flying Beetles.

The figure burst out, then dove into another black cloud.

Again and again, dozens of times, flames erupted across the sky, each hotter than the last.

When the fire finally died down, hundreds of millions of Flying Beetles had vanished—burned to nothing by the inferno.

Instead of returning to the wall, the figure strode quickly through the air. With each step, a spirit crystal shot from his hand and embedded deep into the ground.

After planting three hundred sixty-nine spirit crystals, the figure stood in midair, hands forming intricate seals.

A rapid series of formation hand seals flashed out, and a massive grand array soared up, instantly enveloping a kilometer-wide area.
